Russell Crowe’s Maximus Exposure

Why is Russell Crowe so giddy like a schoolgirl?
He spent the week playing Easter Bunny near his Woolloomooloo home in Australia on Thursday, handing out 1000 free tickets to rugby fans wishing to see his Rabbitohs take on the Bulldogs at Telstra Stadium.
The 42-year-old Gladiator star also strolled around the Sydney suburb with his oldest son Charles, 3.
Also pictured below: Russell Crowe watches from the stands before the round four NRL (National Rugby League) match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs at Telstra Stadium on Friday in Sydney, Australia.

I know the guy who wrote this book. Is Russell Crowe really playing the main character? Thanks.
It scares me to see Russell smiling and cheerful! My strongest impression of him is that he’s scary and unpredictable! Maybe they up[ped the dosage on his meds.
There’s nothing scary about Russell, never has been. He strikes me as the real deal and there aren’t many of those in the film business.
He’s so obviously loving fatherhood.. and is making a real effort to be a quality role model for his boys. yes, yes, he’s had his moments in the past, but has been exemplary for some time now.
What book?
They ended up with a record-breaking attendance of 34,315, the all-time highest NRL Club game attendance at Telstra Stadium.
Russell Crowe is a role model? Bwahahahahaha! Thanks for the laugh! It is only a matter of time before he tosses another phone at someone.
oh yeah and I hope it would be you on the receiving end of it maryan.
jk
Awesome pics Jared! Thanks for posting these. He looks great and Charlie is growing up so fast. They’re so adorable. *g*
I am sure Crowie is fond of his children - of course, most parents are. But he hasn´t aged well.. he looks like a man in his fifties nowadays He sure has some fierce fans left though, who defend him whatever he does - that´s sweet lol!
Yes he still has a few fierce fans left…………..very few. Rusty will need to rebuild that fan base with some good movies. And he does have some interesting ones coming out………..so we will see.
Rusty’s a Kiwi he should be supporting the right rugby code or should I say the better rugby code.
Didn’t realise there was a difference until I went on holiday to Australia last year- both are kinda the same. I was told that only the Private School and wealthy people play rugby union and the working class play rugby League - not sure if correct as Russell Crowe doesn’t really seem too working class to me. Must admit, I love rugby union, it is getting a bit of a following here in America in the colleges.
It’s great to see him so happy and relaxed like that. He has some great movies coming out in October and November. Not one, not two, but three!! WOOHOOO! I can’t wait to see ‘em all. Thanks a lot Jared, for posting these piccies. Little Charles always looks cute.
I can’t believe that in all the stories published this weekend about Russell and the give away of his tickets, out and about with Charlie…no one mentioned that it was his 43 birthday on Saturday April 7th…shame on you
to ANON….seems to me that you’re the one that needs meds…sounds like your a teensie bit paranoid…Russell’s a wonderful guy….problem for some people is that he’s REAL!
Very rare photos, Russel is without his famous cigarettes. But it’s quite usual that he is with lovely child=)
