OlderNicole Kidman & Keith Urban: Easter Family Reunion in Sydney
After a quick stop at her waterfront Darling Point home, Nicole Kidman keeps a tight hold on hubby Keith Urban as they visit relatives on Easter Sunday.
“Easter is very important to me and spending Easter with my parents at home is a special treat,” Nicole told Australia’s The Daily Telegraph.
The couple also visited Nicole’s sister, Antonia, who has just given birth to her fourth child, Sybella. As they left, the smiling couple stopped to admire a picture drawn by Nicole’s niece, Lucia.
Nicole said, “It is important for me to be here with my family for Easter because I’m away so much – and we’re looking forward to meeting our new niece.”
“When I was growing up my parents always made a special Easter lunch – it was a big family occasion and it’s wonderful I can share that experience with Keith now.”
Sydney girl Nicole is in town to start work on Baz Luhrmann’s new epic Australia co-starring Hugh Jackman, who arrived in Australia two weeks ago. Rehearsals for the movie begin tomorrow at Fox Studios. Filming in north Queensland starts later this month.
Nicole’s publicist, Wendy Day, also recently denied pregnancy rumors: “She’s looking forward to going outback and riding a horse and being here for seven months making a film. As if she would confirm a pregnancy to News of the World.” Confirm it here to JustJared.com, Nicole!!

You are absolutely right, Dancer. The kids do visit her on film sets. Shortly before this year’s Oscar event, there were pictures of Connor on the set of “The Invasion”. This would normally not be mentioned in the press, were it not for the fact that there was an accident on the set and Nicole had to be taken to the hospital for check-up.
And, Maxine, hell will freeze over before I share the pictures with YOU.
holy crap…lots of hostility. i used to think nicole was very hot…now she’s starting to look pretty freaky. she’s done too much to her face and she looks like she could use a good meal. why doesn’t she eat???
i don’t know if she spends time with her kids…you sure don’t see pictures of them often … who knows. seems odd that you see pictures of her all over…with her main squeeze keithy and with her family and with her sister’s kids. so odd that you don’t see many with her kids … just saying.
i don’t wish them any hard luck and hopefully the marriage will be ok. he looks about 10 years younger than her, but i’m not sure if it’s just that she looks so old or if he really is younger? anyway, i’ve heard the dude can play a mean guitar and although i’m not into country music, it sounds like he’s a good country singer. so…good luck to them. if i was him, i’d be lookin’ for a younger hotter chick, but to each his own.
I agree why do we never see NIcole with her children or at their activities? It is very obvious they live with their father and I am not fan of Tom but I am sure his children enjoy being with him because he is adventurous and involved which seems to be very opposite from Nicole. Keith even said in an interview that he hasnt spent much time with them. Don’t you think that if you marry someone they should be close with your children first? Weird. I think she is a strange women.
If you read everything he has said he also said, “It’s a good relationship!” They don’t go into details because it isn’t anyone’s business but their own!
Keith didn’t say he hardly knows Nicole’s kids. He said he had a good relationship with them. It’s also silly to judge Nicole and her kids relationship based on one photo taken at the Kids choice awards. Just because they weren’t all sitting there with a silly, fake Katie Holmes smiles on their faces didn’t mean they weren’t happy. Nicole and Keith look really happy together and i wish them the best.
I wonder if keith cause his own cook-up, or does he buy it ready to go *sniff sniff*
Can someone please tell me what interview Kidman said that she doesn’t really have time for her kids? I’m not doubting the claim, I’d just like to see a direct quote.

Hejla, there is NO interview where Nicole says she has no time for her kids.
And there is also no quote from Keith where he says he hardly knows his stepkids. He says he doesn’t get to spend as much time with his stepkids as alot of other stepdads probably do but it is a good relationship.
It amazes me how people can make up their own quotes.
Somebody also mentioned about Keith’s parents. They were in Nashville quite a bit last year and they were in Sydney at Christmas time. But the paps wouldn’t leave them alone. It was on the Australian version of A Current Affair. And the movie that Nicole is starting in a few weeks is being shot in Queensland. That is where Keith’s parents live. They DO NOT live in Sydney.
There are lot of people I don’t like, but I don’t go trashing them. I just don’t waste my time. If you don’t like Nicole or Keith, why waste your time posting about them? Just move on.
She sold her soul for fame and fortune. If she considered I & C hers nothing would stop her from seeing them. We would see lots of photos of them together holding hands etc., even if it meant being supervised by her ex but I think to her a biological child is the only one that will be hers. Horrible attitute but so is selling yourself to possess fame, fortune and fans.
Nicole never said that she doesn’t have time for her kids.The haters/crazies from the E!online boards are just making things up and feigning concern for her children because they are desperate to bash Nicole and can’t find anything.Also,Keith never said he doesn’t know his stepchildren,his exact words were:”I don’t get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship.”.
And for those who don’t believe that the kids are brainwashed,just google the words “Scientology” and “Disconnection” and you’ll see.

I like Nicole as an actress. she’s a versatile and talented actress. but I’m gonna agree with you, if I and C were her biological kids. she probably would not gave them up so easily for Tom Cruise. Tom was a little bit crazy but he was a responsible and good dad to his kids.
I don’t think it’s a case of if they were her biologial kids she would not give them up so easily. We have no idea the real reason but those kids were born to Scientologist parents before they were adopted. I do know of a mother who had to give her baby up for adoption but she insisted the baby be brought up as a Muslim. Could it be the natural mothers imposed a similar condition on the adoption that I and C be brought up as Scientologists. If so, then Nicole does not stand a good chance in the courts. There are other things to consider, such as, if Nicole does decide to battle in the courts and fights for sole custody, there is always the threat of Tom cutting ties with the kids and their inheritence. I’m no lawyer, but these are just a few thoughts.
I am not a big fan of either Tom or Nicole but I also thought it was weird that she is carrying on about family and how important it is to her and she mentions her sister kids and not her own. It seems like Tom is the better parent, he brings his kids to movie sets with him and when he’s doing press for his films and to premieres. While the pics of Nicole with her kids are few and far between. Is it all for publicity? It could be but there is an obvious closeness/connection that Tom has with the kids that is sorely lacking with Nicole and her publicity pics with the kids at the Kids award. I also thought it was strange in the whole publicity build up to her wedding to Keith that her children were flown in the day before the wedding, while the rest of her family and friends were already there for over 2 weeks. It was like she flew them in as an afterthought. The divorce papers are closed but it was revealed that she and Tom have joint custody. Yet they are barely with her. The sad truth is I don’t think she wants or is interested in Isabella and Connor. In that Oprah special that she was on with Russell Crowe I heard her harping on about having bio kids so much and I forgot that she already had 2 children.
I don’t believe the kids are being brainwashed either, they are on baseball/soccer/basketball teams/on movie sets and are playing with and interacting with non Scientologists all the time. Nicole was in Happy Feet which was a kids movie and couldn’t be bothered to bring her kids to the premiere. I guess people who like Nicole feel obliged to bash Tom and blame him for her not being more involved with her children. Unfortunately its not uncommon in divorces for one parent to lose interest in or contact with the children, the bad thing for Nicole is she is doing it in with the paparazzi lens focused on her.
Let me just say that for people who claim not to like Nicole Kidman at all, you sure are well informed on all her whereabouts, the kind of photos there are of her out there, what she’s up to and whether or not she sees her kids. I mean seriously, have you such low empty lives that you must frantically search for reasons to attack those you hate? That must truly be a sad way of life for you. No wonder the world is at it is; instead of cultivating love, most of you out there bear grins on your faces while dissing everyone you’re not fond of, especially those you know **** about, even though you think you do. You can’t help but construct your own rumors and draw your own conclusions, presuming to know what goes in those people’s lives and whether or not they’re being honest. Not in a million years will you ever know what Nicole’s situation is in terms of ANYTHING. You have access to a very limited side of her being so get off your damned high horse and focus on your lives instead. Let Nicole be and let us Nicole admirers keep admiring her for what we choose to. It’s none of your godamned business why we love her and whether or not we’re in denial. Go comment on the celebs you “think” you should love and stop commenting about the same things over and over and over. I’ll even include a polite “please”.

Nicole Kidman: not pregnant until next month
Sad isn’t it? That an actress of her caliber has to resort to these PR shenanigans, feeding the tabs one day with self-perpetuated baby rumours only to refute them 2 weeks later and then start the process all over again the following month? Have you ever seen such a desperate attempt to convince the public that her husband actually wants to have sex with her? And can you think of anything less believable?
Like clockwork, about 14 days ago, an Australian paper reported that Nicole was telling friends she was finally pregnant. The story was picked up everywhere, carried around the world, blared all over the radio – coincidentally just after best friend Naomi Watts confirmed she was expecting too. Needless to say, Naomi was removed from the headlines and replaced by Granny Freeze who reveled in the speculation and trotted her employee husband out and about from LA to Nashville just to drive the point home.
Then came the weekend trumpet from the News of the World, citing confirmation from Kidman confidantes that she was indeed with child…which her publicist promptly denied, explaining that she is scheduled to begin shooting a movie in a few weeks requiring heavy physical activity, including horseback riding, that would obviously jeopardize any hard-earned pregnancy….which of course brings Nicole and Keith back into the spotlight, even more convenient since the couple spent Easter weekend in Australia where Keith is scheduled to kick off a tour in a few weeks. Curiously enough, some say ticket sales haven’t been as brisk as they would have liked but I’m sure that has absolutely nothing to with a headline in one of the Aussie papers today that read: Nic and Keith still call Australia home…right?
All coincidence, no conspiracy…right?

Why so much negativity over Nicole. Geeeze, between her and TC, I would say she is the normal one. Gut feel, Isabella and Connor are raised scientologist, and probably they don’t buy into Easter and Christianity. As eccentric as TC is, he probably prohibit those kids to celebrate Easter. Rather than create anymore conflict and frustrations for those kids, Nicole just gave in to TC. If the rags/tabloids in the supermarket are correct , even KHC is trying to get out of those controlling octopus arms. My 2 cents.

making out in soccer games, the jump on a certain someones couch. plus, they’re with tom because they need to finish scientology schooling until they turn 16. bella’s almost that age, so you’ll see her with her mom a lot pretty soon.

i think that nicole is a realy nice person but i think she sould spend more time with her kids she sould take some time off work to be with them…..x
