Dreamgirls Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson arrives at LAX Airport with a male companion in head-to-toe white on Sunday evening.
Earlier in the day, Hudson was a special musical guest at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church during their Sunday morning Easter service held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The video below has Hudson’s friend going a little overboard in trying to protect her from paparazzi. Dude, take a chill pill. Good work, Gabriel!

No. 1, WHY is an Oscar winner getting into a cab!? Second, if she didn’t want to be bothered, why not get a couple of body guards to escort her to her private car or other means of transportation instead of the city cab!? I like her and all, but I picked up on this “diva” vibe from this video!
Well actually her friend is the one that caused the commotion. It was only one guy following them and her friend shoud have done as she did, just kept walking and not acknowledge the camera man at all.
Also, my sister and her fiance was there at the Georgia Dome for Easter service and they say service all together was just wonderful, and Jennifer’s performance was great.

Agree with #9, just because she won an oscar doesn’t make her tabloid and paprazzi bait. She obviously doesn’t want the attention, so the paps should move on to someone else who does… like a million other wanna be starlets in hollywood.
The man with her is her chef. I remember when they were on Rachel Ray’s cooking show (not the cable show) He was the ass, not Jennifer.

Why should she put herself to all that extra expense? A cab will do just as well as a limo and costs much less. Who is going to pay these bills when she runs them up? The Papparazzi?? The fans? Because she won awards doesn’t mean she has money coming in. She actually has to make a CD or do a movie, or at the very least, a commercial, to get paid. Going to award shows and appearing on mag covers do not pay the bills.
No matter what, if you are a performer with expectations that ppl will go to see your movies or purchase your products, you should do your best to be presentable at all times

First of all, why all the crude comments. Jennifer is a beautiful black woman and a very talented singer and actress. Being a celebrity is not an invitation to the media to make ridiculous comments. Jennifer’s friend was obviously taking care of her. He had to be extreme in an extreme situation. We only saw part of the tape, who knows how long they were being targeted. I am sure they both were just fed up. Perhaps he could have chosen different words but he was valid in doing what he needed to do to get the media off Jen’s back. Give him a break, he obviously was doing his job!

Hey-This is the price of fame. If she didnt want to be famous she should have never tried for idol. It goes with the territory-after all she just won an award for a film that was written about a real life group whose founder, Berry Gordy created their famie through Image and media manipulation. Deal with it ladies, fat is unattractive on EVERYONE- She should work on her image, and how she and those with her respond or that career is going to be as short lived as Fantasia’s. What bright mind told Fantasia to let everyone know she was illiterate, abused and pregnant before she was married? Let the public guess about your life-In this day and time America is not overly sympathetic to those characteristics. Jennifer Hudson-in my opinion cannot sing as well as Fantasia, BUT she is more marketable- The first step in cornering the market should be to re-invent herself with a total image makeover!

People can always say what they would do if they were in someone’s shoes, but when they actually have to fill those shoes will they actually do what they claim they never will do. NOPE!!!
