Angelina Jolie Shoots St. John Ads
Angelina Jolie stops for a quick chat on her cell phone and a bite to eat on Thursday and Friday afternoons of last week during a break while shooting the latest St. John’s ad campaign in Beverly Hills, Calif.
I love what how they did Angelina’s hair in both looks! The gray longsleeves, skinny jeans, and tan Christian Louboutin pumps are from Thursday, April 5.
The classic black blazer and skirt (with the same Christian Louboutin pumps) are from Friday, April 6.
Can’t wait to see the new Angelina Jolie St. John ads!

I can not blieve how much hatred and gabbage is being spewed on Angie by the tabloids especially national ledger. Why cant she sue them? They cross the line over and over again commenting about her family like they know anything about her. These journalists have gone crazy and its too painful for me to look at the internet anymore coz I cant stand the things they write about her and her family,,, when will all the madness stop??? AS a rule all I read is either JJ or people coz all the rest have resigned themselved to be mediocre publications that I dont care to waste time even looking at the headlines I can already predict the gabbage contained.

What you say is so true. I’ve also stopped looking at what the rest of the gossip blogs and tablies except for People, JJ. Sometimes I venture into Popsugar. More occassionally still, Lainey. That’s about it.
The thing I’ve come to realise is that many haters are delusional and ALL OF THEM already locked into their hate positions. All they want is an excuse to criticise and hate Just look at 745. She doesn’t want to understand that shooting for few days a year, for a few hours each time, some photos doesn’t constitute full time work by any means. Working approximately outside the home for less than 20 weeks a year is not full time work. And when filming, actors and actresses regularly bring their children on set whilst waiting.
What I do take comfort in is that these lies to not affect the certain truths. The truths are:
(1) that Industry experts say that Babel would probably not be the huge hit it is without Brad Pitt in a starring role.
(2) that S t John said that Angelina was very much part of the reason why it has been able to turn itself around - so people are obviously happy to spend money on products promoted by Angelina.
(3) that Shiseido lipstick sales in Japan increased more than 25% after Angelina’s advertisements were shown there.
(4) that People and other legitimate celebrity magazines are willing to pay big money for photos of the BAMPZS because they improve sales for People magazine.
(5) that more and more people are buying People and magazines which carry legitimate celebrity news rather, even at $3.00+ even as STAR and NE and other magazines are losing money and slowing growth despite the reduced prices.
(6) that is that normal people spend their money on what they value. Most people don’t value LIES.
These are truths because these truths are supported by something very very important - the fact that ordinary people like you and me are spending MONEY buying their products and reading legitimate news about the BAMPZS. Reaching into our wallets to pull out our hard earned cash. No matter how rich any person is, they are not going to spend money or something that they absolutely DON’T VALUE.
SO, don’t believe the numbers of haterz on the websites. Read any blog and you’ll find that haterz prevail - even in a Reese and Jake thread, even in a thread about some unknown woman in orange county who found out 2 days before giving birth that she was pregnant because she was quite obese - believe it or not. What you can trust is the $$$ and where it is spent.
I believe that just because you don’t see lots of supporters in every site jumping to support the BAMPZS doesn’t mean that many people arent rooting for them. I’ve stopped visiting many sites. I’ve definitely stopped posting on other sites. I skip over most of the hate posts in JJ because frankly, I’ve heard it all before and I’m sick and tired of the haters.
However, just because you and I (and many lurkers too) don’t post in the hate blogs or post hate messages doesn’t mean that we have stopped supporting the BAMPZS. Where it counts, we will continue to support them in our own little way. We will see their movies. I will buy babel DVD. I will watch TMH and TAOJJ when it comes out. I will continue to buy People and Hello when they have news on the BAMPZS. And star, NE and US Weakly, lies and sh** will never see my money - and in the last few months - not even my clicks on their sites.
And I believe this is true of the general public - who read what is written in tablies with increasing scepticism any way which is why they don’t subscribe to STAR and NE etc. Sure there are impulse buys - a good picture (usually of the BAMPZS) or a catchy story line - some way to kill time in the subway, on a train, bus or coffee shop. People will want to believe what they want to believe. But 2 years after the divorce was filed, 4 children, most people have moved on.
Another thing is that, despite what the rest of the yellow tablies are saying, people form their own judgment. Take britney. Remember how every tablie in town screamed that she was a bad mother. And if you hit the blogs, you’d think everyone and her dog thought that she was a bad mother. Yet, when they did a normal fair poll, most mothers thought the tablie criticisms were all too much. They ended up feelignn sorry for Britney coz every mother who is not delusional, who is honest with themselves can truly say - “there but for the grace of god and the papparazzi, go I. It could have been me when I last put little timmy on the sofa and he rolled off … etc….”
I took a straw poll of the mothers in my community (which is a university community) and asked if anyone thought calling your baby a blob when they are under 6 months old to be a terrible thing. Every mum (and there were about 8 of them) laughed and said, well ,they are blobish till they are older and start to smile at you and get a personality. As I live in a university community, many mums teach parti time giving tutorials (2 or 3 mornings or evenings a week) - and see themselves, by and large as stay at home mums who work a little to keep themselves sane. Again, all this hullaballoo about Angelina working, when real mothers reflect on it, would no doubt recognise that Angelina works part time and is largely a stay at home mum by most people’s standards.
Haters like #745 are just gonna hate on. Every argument to the contrary is BS to these people already. that’s why there is NO POINT ARGUING WITH THEM or responding to them, though occassionally I do (blush).
Lastly, I want to say that I’ve noticed how most of the regulars here DO NOT respond to the haters or engage them much. I say HURRAY. I’d much rather read the chit chat between the regular fans, catching up on holiday plans, recipes and planning parties:) we have a little community right here.

Great post lylian. I am convinced that most of America relies on People magazine for news of celebrities, and not the other tabs. They may look at them in the grocery store, but People is what they subscribe to, what they give as gift subscriptions, and from I’ve noticed is that magazine that is sitting in waiting rooms (dentists, doctors, hair/nail salons, etc.).
Even though blogging has become more popular, there is still a small minority of folks who even know there are celebrity sites to read, let alone comment on.
I have listened to the same radio station for the last couple of years while driving to my office. During my “drive time”, there is a segment called “Hollywood Dish”. The woman who reports on this segment was a “Team Aniston” camper, until about 7 or 8 months ago. She still tries to jab at B&A (but mostly A). I have noticed that in recent reports, she is even alot more positive towards the JP’s. Just a small example of how the JP’s are more and more accepted and recognized for the good that they do. I think people are respectful of them, and wish them well.
IMHO, it does help to take a break from the blog sites for awhile. During my regular day at work, out with friends, in convos with family, the subject of the JPs never even comes up. So, if the haters are getting ya down, ignore. Or to really clear your head, just take a break for a couple or three days.
I wish the JP’s all the best and am so glad they have been able to elude the papz to bond as a family….

Amazing how you know how many days she will be working this year, but it was ANGIE herself that said that she would be taking a break, not me. She constantly makes statements that she has no intention of honoring.
jq, hate is a strong word, but I do not LIKE her at all, but not for the reasons you mention. There’s no need for jealousy, I have a great career, beautiful, healthy children, and a wonderful, supportive person. No, I’m not a millionaire, but my work gives me great pleasure in knowing that I am helping people. My family lives comfortably. My children are grounded, happy, and Blessed. My husband and I did not meet on dishonest terms and we support each other. I am very Blessed and very grateful for my life. I dislike Angelina because she is dishonest and using these children for her own needs. I disliked her when she was with BBT, but began to like her when it was her and Maddox. When she got with Brad (and NO I am not jealous because she has Brad…he’s worse than she is) it all went downhill. And none of this has anything to do with anyone’s nose, boobs, lack of children or anything else. See, I am mature enough to form an opinion about someone without having to bring someone else into the equation. This is my opinion of her and no one else.
One thing I will say about Brangelina fans…you’re loyal and will go down with the ship, but haven’t you all been lied to enough? Do you all honestly feel that this whole Pax adoption thing has been handled in the best interest of the child? Do you all think that ALL of the children are being considered here? I do understand about large families and blah blah blah, but this has all been too much, too fast for these poor kids. And, I think that most of you, if you can let your defensiveness down a bit, will agree.

Her manager stated she will be working 40 days this year. What lie did Angelina given ? dishonest ? I think she is the most honest celebrity in HW. She’s honest to revealed her wild past, how many celebrity would do that ?
On Pax adoption, the kid will be grateful on Angie and Brad for giving him a home and education. I ‘m sure Pax would prefer staying with the Pitt’s family rather than sharing a home with 300+ orphans and taken care by only 15 caretakers.

You don’t have to prove how wonderful your family background is. It’s about your comment, is the point of discussion here. Angelina is the most honest celebrity in hollywood. So honest even to the point of being rediculed by her honesty. Nobody knows actually what’s going with her or their private life. She’s still a working mother or a person. So my opinion is these jobs that she’s doing currently are already committed prior to the final phase of her current adoption. She herself says on some of her current interviews that she’s thankful her type of job would allow her to come in and out of her work place anytime so she can be with her children or she can bring her children to the job site. As a long time fan of Angelina, reading her interviews and legitimate stories about her, that I realized she’s really a sincere and honest person. One of the stories even qoute her by saying “I’m very grounded by my family, I’m so lucky the world can like me, hate me, fall apart around me, and at least when I wake up with my little kids, I’m happy”. So with that I know her priority

Why do silly people have to give her crap for her saying she plans to stay at home and take care of her family? It’s not hard to read Angelina. She tells you exactly what she plans, but you have to read her lines carefully. Why cry over seeing her working a few days? What’s wrong with that? It’s not like she’s working full time, signed up for 7 projects in a row. We don’t see the family much because they’re bonding with their children, especially the new one. We don’t see her much because she’s barely working. Even stay at home mom’s have to get out of the house once in awhile. Remember, this is the acting profession, not a nine to five job. Their schedule is erratic. Be realistic. She’s not lying. You silly ones are being literal when you want to be.
Why do people get upset that she’s adopting again? She did tell us her philosophy of growing a family: Since they want a big family, they don’t want to be spending the rest of their lives raising little ones. Brad is not a young man. He’s in his forty’s. So they’re going to adopt/give birth etc., within the shortest timeline they can manage. They want to raise the kids up together. Remember, they’re not you and me. They have monetary resources. They have work flexibility. They are movie stars. Not celibrities, but movie stars who have talent, can get work, and are paid for their charisma! Why constantly line them up on your terms, your merits, your understanding? Just let go, watch them try to do good, admire them for daring to go against convention to show us that there are alternatives to good living if you can do it. We should admire them, not break down everything and discount them because none of the pieces fit into our sandbox. They don’t. They won’t. There are no sandboxes for them, just an entire beach, limitless. Their pieces are completely different. Am I making excuses for them? No, just understanding that they are different from me, from us. Angelina is unique. If the normal Ken boy, Brad Pitt is giving her a shot, then the minivan majority should just hop on and enjoy the ride.
Josia, Do you personally know Angelina ? Are you part of Brad and Jen marriage ? If not ! please don’t judge Angelina thru tabloid lies and gossips. It’s been 2 and half year, 4 kids, Angie finally found her man, Brad found his soul mate, they are happy together ! you might not like it but you have to accept it .
Yes, there are a few narrow minded people hate them but tons and million of people love them. Their career are not down, both are working in big budget movie and movie deals arrange till 2008. Brad still have a production company which is becoming a major player in HW. whether you like it or not, they are Hot commodity in HW and are gonna stay in the market for a very long time.
Oh, and for the Aniston fans, this is what the LA Times photo description says of the Aniston-Cox pic “Jennifer Aniston puckered up for photos at the premiere of The Tripper,” a new horror film produced by her “Dirt” pal Courtney Cox-Arquette. The after-party was not held in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery because Aniston’s movie career is dead. That’s just an eerie coincidence.”

Have you noticed how often antifans paraphrase their dislike of Brad and Angelina by first claiming that (1) they aren’t Jennifer’s fans and (2) they are beautiful and have a great life and a great career and a great husband etc etc. etc.? None of which requires proof, of course. Remember those who say that they aren’t fat but slender and have a great figure (and face to boot)??? Remember the really funny one who said that she was like a super model and people stop on the street to stare at her as she walks past??

LOL. so true. They are tyring to prove that they are “Normal” individual not insecure woman and when peoples opposed their opinions were quikly branded as “abnormal”. Funny, they could accept and blinded by the flaws and frauds of Maniston but microscopically scrutinize, criticized every move and word of Angelina. Personally, I think they are either obsessed “Rachel” fans or are insecure woman with issue. a confident person don’t need to tell the world that she has a great life and doing fine !

Thanks JJ. As usual, Brad and Angie gets the most comments on your site. I believe this is also the reason why they are on the cover of tabs almost every week. Their photos sell whether they are negative stories to go with it and a very few positive speculation. I am happy that Angie is back to work in modeling and Brad is filming Curios Case… I think this movie is very long since their working schedule is overlapping. Usually, Angie stays with kids while Brad is filiming and vice versa. So, I hope Brad is done by May 27th for Shiloh’s party. Thanks again JJ any picture of this family is welcomed in my book.

Such a cute family. Its kinda nice to see kids not dressed up, like models. I can identify why angie likes black, it hides stains. If I cant see it, its not there! Changing the clothes of young kids every few hours can be time consuming. Let them do their thing all day, give them a bath before bedtime and whoa its done. I love the BAMPZS!!!
