Sanjaya Sports the Fuzzstache
American Idol’s Sanjaya Malakar sang his own rendition of Emilio Tuero’s “Besame Mucho” (”Kiss Me A Lot”) sporting a rather boring new curly hairdo. But his peach fuzz facial hair had it totally going on — he rocked the FUZZTACHE!! He even won over the judges too…
- Randy said, “You’re one of the smartest contestants I’ve ever met. That was actually really good! It was!”
- Paula said, “Yeah! Pretty good pitch. Smooth. Nice. It was very, very nice.”
- Simon said, “I couldn’t understand a word of it. You sang like a 14-year-old and I’m going to hate myself for this. It wasn’t horrible!”

Jared, “besame mucho” was composed by Consuelo Velazquez not Emilio Tuero (his was the first recorded version), she composed it before turning 16 years!
First time hearing him sing and he’s not that bad, I expected a lot worse from the reaction over him. He sounds like Justin Guarini but the fuzz has to go.

I thought he sang really well this time.
