OlderDrew Barrymore Named New CoverGirl

Drew Barrymore glams up in a a bright yellow Carolina Herrera dress and Christian Louboutin green heels as she is named CoverGirl’s newest model and spokeswoman on Wednesday at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.
Barrymore, 32, will be featured in a nude-colored dress for the upcoming ad campaign, which she helped co-create and posed for on Monday.
“I leave the makeup and product up to them, that’s their expertise,” she said “What I want to do is honor the tradition of CoverGirl but hopefully bring myself and my personality into it, as well as some edgy fashion-forward thinking and positivity to it.”

Im a little surprised as Drew is an animal activist yet shes the spokesmodel for Covergirl? they still test on animals, Not a good move in my eyes

Drew seems a perfect match for CoverGirl — she’s young, bright, cheerful, smart, cute, fun-loving, cheerful. The only thing is the animal testing, Maybe they have changed or she will be working on a line that isn’t tested on animals. Otherwise, I question it.

Drew Barrymore has always been a favourite actress of mine until … The “Vegetarian” who loves Animals and doesn’t wear leather is the new face for Cover Girl, owned by Procter and Gamble who still test on Animals! Do Celebrities really need the money to advertise for Companies that do not care about Animals?! I hate the L’Oreal adverts! Why can’t they support cruelty free Companies like Hard Candy and Urban Decay?!
I have made a conscience decision early on not to buy any products that that conduct animal testing and now I will not buy or watch anything that has to do with Drew Barrymore. It’s kind of sad too! People are right I guess celebs have a price and are will to do whatever it takes to get paid!!
