Courteney Cox has been Jennifer Aniston’s fan #1, her shoulder to weep on…for months and months her shoulder to weep on. And the first arrival at every pity party, and the “kindest” confidante in Malibu. Easy to be kind when your best friend is rich and famous though. Not so easy to be kind to those on the payroll. Not so easy to refrain from being a monster ***** to those who wait on you hand and foot. But that isn’t exactly profound or a secret or even a riddle, is it?

So Courteney was there for Jen, now Jen is stepping up for Courteney – first with an overhyped lesbian peck on Courteney’s show Dirt, then showing up last night to support David Arquette’s new release. And in return Jen’s slow, strategic re-emergence onto the scene becomes even sweeter: a healthier body, single and patiently waiting, the bestest friend, always always backing up her girl…all at a time when Life & Style is accusing Angelina Jolie of hating her own daughter? Well played by Aniston, don’t you think? The MiniVan Majority is in heaven.

But enough conspiracy mongering – can we talk instead about how pretty Courteney is? SO pretty. SO much prettier. And NOT orange. Almost never orange. And not obsessed with tanning. Or with updating her highlights. So why was she the 2nd Friend? I never understood.

Both Jen and Courtney… glad to see their friendship is still going strong. Both are attractive healthy looking women. Jokie’s fan’s are just jealous.

I usually try to stay away from Jennifer’s thread since I am not a fan of hers, but I was drawn to this one because of the pictures of Jennifer, David and Courteney together. Is it me or is Jennifer all clingy to David, even more so than Courteney is? Gee, I mean they are best friends and all, but if I was the wife I would be leery of my best friend all over my husband — aren’t there boundaries at all? His hand is even on her behind!!! Haven’t there been stories of the best friend getting it on with the husband and away from the wife (Elizabeth Taylor and Eddie Fisher come to mind, and more recently Denise Richards and Richie Sambora)?

Maybe that’s why Courteney doesn’t really look very thrilled (is not even returning Jennifer’s choke hold on her) — or it it just the botox?

I am not acting like a jealous hag!!! I am just commenting on the pictures, like everyone else is. But it’s my opinion that she clings to David WAYYY TOO MUCH, and unless they’re into menage a trois, if I were Courteney I would set some limits!!! Again, JMO!!!

It never fails to amaze me that her fans champion this woman so much. Maniston needs a job so she has to pretend that all is well with her. She is trying to distance herself from Pity Goddess image she portrayed for two years. Her true self is revealed when she is by herself. Alone, she is a dour, insecure person and literally cannot do anything by herself. She needs a whole support system. Its funny how this translates into her acting career as well.
She can only shine when there are others to support her not when she is on her own.
I would think with all her fandom, she would have been a bonafide star by now. Never happen.

There are photos of Courtney and David looking very chummy together and Jennifer solo on the People site.

Face it, Jennifer has the best hair of at least the past decade. She looks better now that she has gained a little weight.

I do not understand why Angie fans hate Jennifer. Brad dumped Jen for Ange, so now they hate Jen? I don’t get it.

They will tell you they hate Jennifer because of what she said in the Vanity Fair interview, which is total bull****. They will tell you it is because they think she maligned Brad and tried to bring him down, again bull****.
The real reason they hate Jennifer even though she was the one dumped for Angelina is because Jennifer is living proof of the true nature of the one they worship, Angelina Jolie. Jennifer serves as a reminder of the lack of morals Angelina has and of what kind of a woman and human being she really is. It is not just Jennifer, mind you, it is anyone who the Angelina fans believe is a threat to the idol they worship. They will besmirch and call into question the character of anyone you dare to compare to Angelina, or you dare to even link her name with. A perfect example of this is when JJ put up a thread of the charity work Asley Judd does in India. The Angelina fans went beserk, trashing Ashley left and right saying she was scum compared to Angelina and saying her efforts were s*** compared to Angelina’s and saying that Ashley was just trying to ride Angelina’s coattails. Even though Ashley has been doing this type of charity work in India for over ten years.
Angelina Jolie’s own worst enemies are her fans.

High moral, she’s a chain smoker and sun bathes in the nude, she’s straddling Vince Vaughn outside in a way that the paparazzi were able to take pictures about 5 months after her seperation with Brad, she’s always partying with her girlfriends, disowned her mother, doesn’t give back to the community. Not someone I would admire.
