Ashlee Simpson is a Runaway

Ashlee Simpson makes a Pete Wentz-less appearance on Thursday night, stepping out for the grand opening of Runway Nightclub in New York City. (Where’s that?)

Ashlee and a gal pal decked out in head-to-toe black and are surrounded by heavy security.

New couple Ashlee, 22, and Pete, 27, arrived at JFK airport on Thursday morning.

They pay her just for appearing? I wouldn’t even pay to hear her sing. In fact, I’d pay her not to sing. I’m just wondering when she’ll do a Mandy Moore and ‘fess up about being untalented.

I think that Jessica and Ashlee are both talented. They are going through a lot. Us commoners always fell like we are justified to comment about what they do. Have you ever been divorced or broken up with someone. How does it make you fell? Now imagine having cameras in your face telling you where you should be at in your career, have you ever heard of a break.
