Mama Bear, calm down, there is not need to come down on people. Sure some believe it’s all a PR set up, and they have said reasons why. A lot of the reasons given are logical, maybe it is you who chooses to see things differently. But i don’t think you have a right to say that everyone is jealous, - that is a lost argument and quite honestly a chidish one.
I do think Went cares two hoots by the way, otherwise, if this is true about the publicity - why would he be doing such a thing if he didn’t care? I am not saying he cares about the fans, but he cares that his publicity stunt gets him mentioned in the tabloids, I think he has become a publicity who*re myself. But that is my opinion and you can have yours, but don’t come here and tell us that we all have to think like you!

Actually, if you look closely, the photo of him with his arm around her is clearly a bad photoshop job. Different sidewalks, different backgrounds. The only PR stunt happening here is some trashy tv show making things up.
Incidentally, this whole PR stunt isn’t for the fans. Fans already love him and will talk about him forever till the start of season 3.
This PR thing is for the MEDIA! It is so that he can be featured in the tabloid rags and remain in non-PB fans’ consciousness.
That is something that most here are missing, it’s nout about creating buzz for the fans, it is about creating buzz for the media.
I am confused…I mean…what’s that supposed to mean-her arm surrounding his waist…it only happens between boy friend and girl friend here in Korea…I hope there’s a cultural difference in intimacy issues. As a huge fan of him, I want him to succeed in his career and be happy with his private life…but to be honest, I kinda envy her.

Geez, I suggest some of you nasty, creepy people get mommy to make an appointment for you to see a shrink, get some counselling or something. I have never seen such vitriolic comments about a couple of people spending time together. I don’t care if she’s his girlfriend or his damn housekeeper. I don’t care if he’s gay, straight or a hermaphrodite. As long as he relaxes during the PB hiatus and is ready to act his ass off in Season 3 that’s all I care about.
Um, didn’t Went do the same publicity thing with Mariana Klaveniko? Didn’t he also show up at the theatre after the press was tipped to be there. I remember one old person even had his picture poster all ready for him to sign. They knew he was going to be there. So if he’s done that sort of ‘publicity’ thing before with Mariana, why is it so out of this world that he is doing it again ———- with Amie this time?

I just have to say that I am thoroughly disgusted with the childish comments coming for 99% of the people on here, and on other boards for that matter. Just shocked! I feel so bad for Went and Amie now. I have never seen so much disrespect hurled at a celeb just for being seen out with a girl. I think Went deserves way more respect than this. He goes to work, does his job, is nothing short of pleasant in interviews and fan encounters, and the odd time he gets some time to relax and chill everything he does or doesn’t do gets dissected to death. And please spare me the ,”He’s famous, and that’s part of the deal crap” , because that is so not the case. Everyone, celeb or not, has the right to privacy. The boy is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. No wonder he doesn’t want to divulge anything about his personal life. I don’t blame him one bit now.

I have posted my thoughts on this matter and have left it at that. Again, this is a public forum, so do expect people to say what they want to say. If JJ wants to start moderating this site than that is up to him. What I don’t get is that people are bashing each other for stating their own opinions and thoughts. It is one thing to argue and disagree with someone’s opinion in a respectful way, but it starts to get out of hand when the name calling starts, etc.
