AWWWWWW, look at Angie’s smile! Nothing but motherly love and happiness there.
If this were a “photo op” as some are suggesting then Angie would not have stayed in the car and Mad probably would have been along.

Thanks - have you seen Notes on a Scandal yet? Saw that at the cinema and would recommend it. Cate B. played did such a great job in it and was deserving of an Oscar nomination, IMHO. Any movies to recommend?

I want to watch Borat when my kids are not around. I watched an interesting show today called “Movies That Shocked The World” and today’s movie was Fatal Attraction. It was an interesting show, and hope that it’s one regularly. It was a nice change from the talking heads going on and on about Don Imus. I love the world of movies and the stories that can be told.

Love Z’s expression when she sees the paps. She is such a ‘daddy’s girl’ and it looks like Daddy Brad is loving every minute of it.

Some people unknowingly reveal their stupidity when making comments about Brad looking ‘unkept’ etc. FYI, Brad and Angie do not need to dress up just to go to the ice cream store, or be posing their lives away, like the Beckhams, as soon as a camera is in the vicinity. Brad and Angie are so naturally beautiful, they could be walking around in flour bags and still be fabulously sexy!

Point of fact, “naturally beautiful” means being born with gorgeous lips, which you can pass on to your daughter, Shiloh. Or, NATURALLY big, blue eyes, which you can also pass on to your daughter, NATURALLY. For the unfortunate ones, who are not ‘naturally beautiful,’ their ‘NATURAL’ does mean plastic surgery, like maniston with the famous sinus problem, that just happened to be fixed by cutting off a bit of the bulbous end of her nose, or those fish lips that also got some ‘natural’ work done on them, not to mention the breast augmentation from an A cup to a B cup.

I am sitting here with a big ole grin, I think it is wonderful that Brad can turn on and turn off Hollywood whenever he wants. These pictures are so warm, because unlike other celeb dad superstars (ex tom cruise) Brad not only looks normal but is doing everyday things, Brad and Angie live their life for themselves not the paps. They just don’t give a ****, and that makes them more appealing. I think when you hear co stars and friends say how down to earth and normal he is, these pictures clearly show why. It reminds me of a quote I read :

The paps will back off from Z as soon as she is a little older, she is already letting them know just how she feels about them. Love her. She has always been a daddy’s girl, and the pix inside BR where she is clinging so trustfully to her daddy is priceless. I’m sure that when Brad got out of the car Z just had to go with him. Angelina’s smile is that of a happy woman.

Brad is just going about his business with his family, he could care less what he has on. He was not happy to the see the paps, and Z mirrors his feelings. He’s rocking that hat again, he had it on in 2005 in the Malibu beach pixs of Angelina, Brad, Maddox, and Zahara. Hope Brad’s grey hat or baseball cap from last year don’t reappear, but I would not be surprised. It’s cute how both Angelina and Brad recycle their clothes. I am so amused by these pictures. As the tabs have one or both of them overwhelmed, frustrated, not having had sex since Pax was adopted, putting x child ahead of y child, B/A just show those tabs that they are full of ****. Here is Angie with a big old smile on her face that is so far from a woman unfulfilled and whose guy is apparently ‘mad at her’. Brad is busy carrying Zee and doesn’t realize that he’s only supposed to care about Shiloh and not the rest. Love how Zee is resting her head on him so trustingly. I just completely love how much they just don’t care about what the tabs and the media are saying about them and just go on with their lives. I love that Brad is dressed very casually and doesn’t seem to care that he’s not in some clean-cut designer duds. It doesn’t get any better than this.

To orchyd- I love B/A and it doesn’t matter that they don’t know who I am. Just like there are fans of other celebrities, I am their fan. I am reading all Brads old interviews, and this one was done in extremley earlier in his career, what struck me that Brad back then is still the exact Brad today. He has not changed. Also what stood out is the following:

On his growing up years:

“Growing up I was like an insider—inside of everything, like the cool stuff at school—but always looking out. Because it wasn’t quite enough or something. Insider looking out—that’s perfect. That sums it all up.”

When Brad appeared on the scene as the young hunk on Dallas, he was being called the “next big sex symbol”—a label he was uncomfortable with even back then. Indeed, Brad was a very down-to-earth young guy, who was thrilled at his big break. Tell us about your character on Dallas.

BRAD PITT: He is Shalane McCall’s boyfriend, Charles. I am 16 or 17 on the show and Shalane is 15. Basically we are just dating, but I keep getting into trouble with her parents. The first time they meet me is when they come home from their honeymoon and they catch us mashing (kissing) on the stairway. We think they are still away.

How did you get the role on Dallas?

BRAD: I auditioned for a new character on the series Our House and they said, “While you’re here, read for this.” So I went next door and read for the producer of Dallas and bingo!

When did you decided to become an actor?

BRAD: I was in college—I was studying advertising and graphic design at the university of Missouri. I told my parents I was going to California to go to art school. I didn’t tell them I wanted to act. I always wanted to give this a try on my own. When I got out here, I started to check things out and I never made it to art school.

Where did you live when you first got out to California?

BRAD: I knew this girl from home whose dad had a place out here. There was just a housekeeper living in it, so I got to say there free for a month. Then I got some guys—there were eight of us living in this little apartment in North Hollywood. It was a blast. We had no furniture—we all slept on the floor in the front room. We had a TV, a toaster oven and a stereo. What more does a guy need? We were all short on girlfriends and money!

What did you do to earn money?

BRAD: Any odd job I could get. There is a place called the Job Factory and every week they list all of these odd jobs. Those jobs kept me in Captain Crunch and peanut butter and jelly. It finally got so bad that my buddy and I said let’s see who can get the most humiliating job. I won! I got a job with a restaurant called El Pollo Loco. I dressed up as a chicken, stood out on the corner of Sunset in one hundred degree weather and flapped my wings for the Grand Opening. They liked me so much, they asked me back!

BRAD: I did a few weeks on Another World. I had to go to New York for that and I had never been there. Then I got Dallas and in between filming those I did a Growing Pains episode. I did a Mountain Dew commercial—got to waterski in Florida. And I just got a McDonald’s commercial today! My mom is so proud!

BRAD: A little over a year. I was a dork when I got out here. I didn’t even know I had to have pictures!

What kind of kid were you?

BRAD: A dork! I don’t know. I was pretty good at everything, but not great at anything. My grades were pretty good. I was involved in every school thing, every sport.

BRAD: My mom, Jane, is a housewife; she likes to paint. My dad’s name is Bill and we have a dog—a mutt—named Quiche Lorraine. I have a younger brother and a younger sister, Doug and Julie—we call Doug, Digger, and Julie, Jules.

What is the best part of your personality?

Then I met girls, I would not be attracted to right off but because of their personalities—wooooo! I guess you can say the standard is a sense of humor.

BRAD: Shakey’s smorgesboard—at $3.49 it’s a heck of a deal. All the salad and pizza you can eat. And cinnamon rolls. My favorite meal, really.

Yes petitions for name changes are public in that they must be published, but can be published in any newspaper, no matter how small, obscure, daily, weekly, monthly,etc., so it may not be easy to find. Also, there may be legal timelines for Brad’s adoption of Pax such as Pax has to be in the US or in the state of Ca for a certain time like 90 days or several months for a court to acquire jurisdiction over a child. I use Ca because that is where Brad and Angelina’s legal residence is, where they most likely vote. For example, a state may require a child to be in the state for 3-6 months before any legal custody issue like adoption related to the child can be heard in court. Again, Pax has not even been in the US or Ca for even a month yet.

an opinion - further to what you said, Angelina was asked by the judge and required to post an ad for the *name change* in the paper so that if there is anyone who object to the name change to come forward. They never intented for the public to know about the adoption, imo. If the judge had not asked for Jolie to do that then we would not have known either.

Interesting. I actually have researched a majority of sites and asked the same question. I simple stated that i do not admire them for anything other than making an entertaining movie. And my “eloquence” was not mask anything other than that is my style of writing.
Furthermore, I do not hate anyone, on the contrary. I am simply observing and asking a few questions. Admiring a person for their craft is a far cry from commenting and speculating about their personal lives and hurdling insults. I made an observation from their perspective it is like a royal thrown looking down at their subjects. With all this “admiration” going around i wonder how it affect their internal thoughts on the matter, how they perceive all the attention. And when did, we, as a people place so much emphasis on an entertainer.
I just find it amusing and intriguing like half of the other population. I don’t like or dislike anyone, i simply stated i don’t understand the hype. this is not personal, it is a site to express thoughts.

A pastor of my church last Sunday said that a tree with more fruits get hit with stone more because people will hit the tree to get fruits. If you look at it Angie gets attacked by Tabloid more than other celebrities but she also get more praise from respectable mag. and journals – which means Angie is doing something right anyway. I am not saying Brad is not doing anything, I am just saying Angie is doing more as UN ambassador also as adoption wise.

If Angie is so stressed with all the negative tabloids, then she has to
1. not give interviews
2. do nothing at all – no humanitarian work, no adoption, no filming of new movies.

No you clearly don’t remember. Z was adopted in July 2005. Angelina and Brad and Maddox and Z went to the Dominican Republic (DR) in January 2006 so Angelina could shoot TGS. They announced her pregnancy as they landed in the DR. Angelina came out of the plane when they landed in the DR holding Maddox’s hand, and Brad came out of the plane holding Z in his arms.

Brad and Angelina flew to Haiti from the DR. DR and Haiti share an island. Pixs were taken in DR of Brad and Z in Baskin Robbins buying ice cream. Z was clinging to her daddy then also.

I forgot to mention that I applaud all the fans who are active for BAMPZS. Angie did not and still do not have a publicist, and so when Tabloid lied about her or twisted her interviews people just believed the story because she never denied any of them, not like other celebrities.

Now even though Angie still does not deny anything, there are fans who do research or actively send emails to tabloids or other responsible media source to clear rumors and tabloid stories. By doing this I think we can educate people about how tabloid mag. lies. And he’d love a Tiffany stained-glass window, and he’s been known to steal a sandwich right off a man’s plate. Confessions from the actor’s roof.
It’s a shame that Brad Pitt is about to move into a new house, because, on the roof of his current place in the hills above Los Angeles, he had created a very cool bachelor pad. He’s got a sofa up here, a coffee table, a CD player, a lamp, and some candles.

“What if it rains?” is the obvious question when you this sort of setup.
“It gets rained on,” he says.

He’s brought up some CDs-Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Cracker, Gipsy Kings-which the player occasionally rejects. “Too much rain, maybe,” he says, gently coaxing one in. Always considerate, Pitt keeps the volume down in deference to his neighbors.

On the roof, you learn things that you didn’t know. That Pitt watches Baywatch. He gets into strange positions when he sleeps and often has vivid dreams. Though he’s never had the actor’s nightmare, he has forgotten his lines. He only kills spiders if they’re in the bed with him. He likes to dance. He doesn’t like to eat-it takes up too much time. And he’s really, really afraid of sharks.

“Unbelievably so. They’re just eating machines!” he says, almost shuddering. “They have no idea that they’re takin’ a life, or takin’ some guys leg.” Pitt is really looking forward to Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. “You see a shark bite the half of a surfboard. He considers this awhile. Bob Marley playing low in the background. “Well, I’ll tell you. If I’m floating on top of the water, I’m definitely thinking about it. Ever been diving? I’m talking 120 feet, 90 feet, pitch-black, you don’t know what’s around you! It’d scare me to pieces. I’d be scared shitless! But I’d have to do it! They have these dives where you can go feed the great whites…”

The films in which he’s starring roles-Kalifornia, Johnny Suede-have not been so successful. Now, as the vampire Louis, it’s Pitt, along with Tom Cruise, who is supposed to carry Interview.

“I don’t know much about acting,” he says. “I don’t know what the hell I’m doin’. I just don’t.”

“He’s telling you the truth,” says billionaire David Geffen, the man behind Interview. “He was insecure on the shoot. He always thinks he’s not doing well.”

Interview director Neil Jordan says that on the set there was a sort of cloud that hung over Pitt: “He was totally immersed in the role. A vampire never sees the light, and that’s how Brad was in this shoot.”

“He has very definite instincts about what he does,” explains Edward Zwick, who directed Pitt in Legends, another physically and emotionally demanding movie. “It’s true that on the day (of the shoot, he would immerse himself in his role). But he didn’t insist on being called by his character’s name on weekends or on riding home from the set on horseback…”

“’You are the devil!’” Pitt rasps. “’We belong in hell!’”

He chuckles and shakes his head. “Do you know how hard it is to say lines like that?”

He seems happy for a break from the attention. Tonight he’s going to meet some people at a club called LunaPark, to listen to his friend Dermott Mulroney’s band. Pitt’s mode of travel is a “Jeep Cherokee thing. Four-wheel drive. Beat-up, dented up.” He’s parked the truck a little too close to a brick planter, and as I’m gingerly attempting to wriggle in with such limited clearance, he races around to the driver’s side, dives across the seats, and shoves my door open as far as it will go-smashing it loudly into the planter.

“I was trying not to dent your door!” I say, mortified.

“Screw it! I mean, look at this thing! It’s covered in dents,” he says. It’s true. The paint job has deteriorated to a dull black. The inside is grimy and littered with debris.

“Isn’t it a beaut?” he says, patting the dashboard as if it were the neck of a horse.

“Two, Sweet & Low,” Pitt says at the door of LunaPark. I think he’s making a joke about ordering coffee to go, but he smiles-the Sweet & Low Orchestra is the name of Mulroney’s band. “I’m not that funny,” he says. He steps aside after retrieving his change to allow me to walk ahead through the door, an unconscious gesture of someone who was brought up well. Mulroney, who is married to Pitt’s Johnny Suede costar Catherine Keener, spots Pitt and greets his warmly. Mulroney plays cello and mandolin; his brother, Kieran, plays violin; the band also includes Thelonious Monster’s Zander Schloss and the Pogues’ James Fearnley. Everybody settles in at a table, and Pitt tells Dermot that he’s just come back from Belgium.

“Have any good waffles while you were over there?” asks Mulroney.

“No, man,” says Pitt. “Strictly Eggo all the way.”

“Nothing wrong with that.”

“Toaster Strudels are good,” says Pitt. “I recommend the cinnamon or blueberry flavours.”

“Mother’s milk,” agrees Mulroney.

It would seem that the Brad Pitt diet relies heavily on a toaster.

“And a Snakmaster,” says Pitt.

“What’s that?”

“You don’t watch nearly enough late-night TV,” he says. “You take two pieces of bread and whatever else you have in the house and throw it in and smash it down.” He laughs. “I lived a whole summer on that.

” When I mention something about cooking, Pitt nearly jumps out of his chair.

“That’s even worse. First you got to plan your menu. Then you got to go to the store, pick everything out, then you got to buy the groceries. Then you got to take them home. Then, if you’re preparing meat, you got to leave it out maybe a little bit, then you go to make the food, then you got to eat it, then you got to clean it up. Then you got to start it all over! It’s like you’re always foraging for food!”

So if food and cars aren’t important to him, he must get a kick out of buying things for the house.

He stiffens up. “Now someone had to tell you that,” he says slowly. I tell him no one did; in a magazine article he once urged the writer not to make his house sound weird, so I wondered if he really cared about the things inside of it. Pitt is now tapping his lighter on the table.

“Ah.” He takes a swallow of beer, contemplating how this will look in print. He lights a cigarette. “Yeah, yeah, I do. I can’t justify spending twenty grand on a truck. But on a Tiffany stained-glass window? If I could get one for twenty grand? I could completely justify that.”

He says his original goal was to be an advertising art director. But at the University of Missouri, “they were doggin’ all my ideas,” he says of his teachers. “They wanted the straight thing and it was really boring.”

He quickly realized that he wouldn’t make it at an ad agency. When he hit on the idea of becoming an actor, he spared his parents both this news and the fact that he was leaving school two credits shy of graduation, and announced instead that he was moving to California to go to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He endured the usual spate of weird, waiting-for-a-break jobs (driving strippers to work, among them) before landing the role of J.D. in Thelma & Louise. His parents eventually learned the awful truth about his career as an artist, though Pitt has continued to teach himself about architecture and design.

“The quality of things, if they’re handmade,” he says, “really impresses me. Just to have furniture made from first growth-trees, which we don’t have anymore. The texture’s different and the wood’s different. It’s a big difference from the little bitty grain we get here. The home is very, very important, especially now, as this thing,” he says, meaning fame, “builds and builds and gets completely out of hand. Proportion, materials, light, perspective.” Pitt seems to know more about what makes for a solid building than for a solid performance.

“He doesn’t know how good he is, which is probably a good thing,” says Geffen. “Brad will be bankable after this. Redford did a lot of films, but it took Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid to make him a star. With Tom Cruise, it was Risky Business. Interview will be Brad’s movie.” He pauses to deliver final confirmation. “His price has more than doubled since the picture.” Another dramatic pause. “I hear it’s up to three and a half million dollars.”

“Oh my God!” I exclaim. “Have you seen his car?”

I suggest a word-association game. Pitt smiles, lights a cigarette, and whispers, “Go.”

“Washboard stomach.”

“Born with it,” he laughs. “Oh, in my youth! Many beers ago.”

“James Dean.”

“Who?”

“The new James Dean.”

“Who?”

“Blue screen,” I say, a reference to Cool World.

“How about, Never again.”

“The $6,000 ******,” which is the way his part in Thelma & Louise has been summed up.

“How about, I wish.”

Pitt was a young thing in Springfield, Missouri, the first time he saw a naked woman. “Somewhere in early elementary school,” he says, “we found a house that was being built, and we found a stack of the old Play-bonys at the site. Well, I was very impressed. I was just so overwhelmed.”

Not long after, he got the talk. “Two little kids up the street kept using the word ****, and I asked my mom what it was, and that’s how we got into that whole sex talk. She told me, ‘We don’t use this word, this word is slang, but we do use the phrase “sexual intercourse,” and here it is.’ With the diagrams.” He takes a sip of a beer. “I remember vividly, at that time, being horrified.”

By the seventh grade, young Brad became the host of make-out parties in the Pitt basement, fixing up the place with a couple beanbag chairs. “The girls usually overdid it with flavoured lip gloss,” he says. “But we didn’t know it at the time. We thought it was fine!

“My mom always made a lot of noise before opening the door to the basement. She’d call down, ‘Brad? Can I come down and get something out of the freezer?’ He grins. “Of course, you had to wonder why Mom needed a frozen steak at 10 o’clock at night…”

I ask him if he was the type to dance only to slow dance numbers at school dances. “Oh no,” he says. “I did ‘em all. ‘Cause that’s your first initiation into…” He smiles and flicks his finger on and off repeatedly. “Yeah, I have some vivid memories. That’s your first closeness.”

“So how old were you when you lost your virginity?”

Tap, tap, tap goes the lighter. Pitt laughs and fidgets. The subject is closed.

Pitt is going to eat dinner tonight, an exciting possibility, since it’s been three days and I’ve yet to see him consume anything other than bee and cigarettes. “Yeah, it’s pretty strange,” says his actor friend Michael Rapaport, who met Pitt when they work together on True Romance. “One time, I went to his house and all he cooked were these tiny little steaks and cut-up tomatoes.”

The clock radio clicks over to 7:59 as Pitt arrives, prompt as always.

“You like barbeque?” he asks. The plan is to pick up some food and take it back to his house so that he can show off his 30-odd chameleons.

He drives past a restaurant with outdoor tables. “See that place? I once stole a sandwich from there, right off a guy’s plate! I had just moved to L.A., and I was driving with a buddy of mine when we saw this guy getting a big pastrami sandwich. It sure looked good, and I said to my friend, ‘Let me off down the street.’ Well, I walked really slow past his table, then grabbed the half of the sandwich that was still on the plate, then dove back into the car! It was the funniest thing! The guy just looked so surprised!”

At the barbeque place, Pitt gets two slices of cream pie (“one for breakfast”), along with a large barbeque sandwich and a side order of beans. He darts into a liquor store, emerging with a pack of smokes, a bottle of Evian, a couple of wineglasses. “I haven’t done dishes in a while,” he says.

The sun has already set as we pull into his driveway, so he digs up a light and several extension cords and we head out to the wooden enclosures on the side of the house. “Chameleons get dull in cages,” he explains, shining the lights on the sleeping reptiles. “But out in the open, oh my God.”

Isn’t it obvious, I say, for an actor to own chameleons?

A shadow of confusion crosses his face.

“Why?”

“You know, the ability to change.”

“But these don’t do that,” he says. “Their colors just get brighter.”

Anyone know when BB filming is over? Brad has been working on this film since November 2006 (they flew directly back from Vietnam to NOLA), and it is now April 2007. How long will this film be, 3+ hours??

One other thing, if you are such a fan of brangelina why does your name reflect your affiliation with the ex? You are one of those types of fans that make the rest of them look crazy. Most normal people don’t care about the x and just concentrate on the idol. So don’t talk hater until you admit you are one, actually even then you will sound stupid. Oh well, such is your life.

Angelina Jolie’s Child Support Drama

Is Jon Voight a deadbeat dad? According to the will of Angelina Jolie’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, Voight owes $180,000 in child support to Bertrand.

Bertrand died of ovarian cancer in January. Jolie and her father have been estranged for years – though we doubt it’s over the money. She now can probably buy her own damn pony.

The will, which was entered into probate court on April 13 in Los Angeles, requests that her “beloved” children, Jolie and James Haven, serve as co-executors of Bertrand’s estate and split the money from the estate down the middle. The will also throws $100,000 to Jolie’s oldest child, Maddox, 5.
