Jennifer Aniston (in Chanel) walks the red carpet with former boy bander Lance Bass at The GLAAD Media Awards 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) recognized Aniston, who recently portrayed a lesbian on Dirt, with the Vanguard Award for her contributions to increased visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
Lance presented tennis legend and activist Martina Navratilova with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award.

Ya know the more I think of this , the funnier this **** seems to me. Yes while everyone agrees that Gay people need to have the same rights as married people, there is still a strong amount of people in the United States who are totally against gay marriages and relationships( to each his own) but this issue still is a hot button. It will be interesting to see if Aniston is sincere with her support of gladd or if she slowly starts to put distance. This award if anything will not do anything to help her career, yes it will help her in the sense with the media, but is this the type of pr she wants, Does Aniston even realize that Gladd has an agenda, and that is to use her image( cause lord knows she hasn’t publically aligned herself with any gay or lesbian orginazations before/or even spoken up for this group) to promote their cause. If Aniston is geniune then I say it is about damn time, she used her fame for her beliefs and issues, but time will tell, if this is one time thing or will she actually start speaking up more.

Wow this woman has had a great year! She wins most popular screen actress (Peopl’e Chice Award), best dressed (People mg), most perfect legs (a statistical organization that meausured all proportioned point of her legs), best body (in the top five ahead of Jolie), America’s sweetheart (People mag)…more.
Truly an amazing woman. Wish I looked like her at 40!

I don’t get it. I don’t think she has a sense of style… She has the most boring look. Boring hair, boring clothes, and her face looks, well, sort of manly. Her acting totally seems mediocre . But it’s just me. Everyone’s different, and it’s totally fine. I’m just expressing my thought. I just think she’s the most overrated actress.

In anyone doubts that she is NOT over rated, then they haven’t seen Rumor Has It, Derailed and the Break Up. All proved that she is best suited for television with her FRIENDS. Her noteriety comes from who she WAS married to, not her talent. IMHO.

At the ceremony, Jake Gyllenhaal presented Jennifer Aniston with GLAAD’s Vanguard Award, honoring media professionals who, through their work, have increased the visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Gyllenhaal and Aniston became friends while filming The Good Girl together.
“I want to thank GLAAD for their steadfast commitment to opening people’s minds,” Aniston said in her acceptance speech. “This is called the Vanguard Award which in some ways suggests I’m at the forefront. But I’m here with you tonight to say that I’m proud to stand not in front of you, but I stand right beside you. I commend you.”

You’d think since her monster powerful gay PR guy Stephen Huvane used his influence and HER money and BOUGHT that award, that he also would have bought her a speech writer to go along with it - but reading that, obviously not.
Holy sh*t was that bad. :shock: x 2. As much as I loathe her, I’m almost disgusted that Huvane actually let her say such obnoxious, banal tripe - she essentially is telling GLAAD (West Coast) that they are the sell-out idiots we thought they were, in giving HER that award. She’s actually giving it back - they’re telling her she’s a vanguard and she’s saying, er…no, I’m not. Damn, don’t look now….if I really thought it was intentional, she would have gone up a couple points in my book. But we all know, she’s not honest enough to have done that. Ahahahaha!

I have to say, she needs to work harder on that front because the wining and dining with Jennifer Meyer didn’t seem to work. “Wanted” that she’s suppose to star w/ Streep is still in a limbo. She still can’t get studio backing. Streep’s schedule is full until 2008. Universal fast tracked Changeling.
Passing the buck on her film flops didn’t endear her to a lot of people. Ask Ted Griffin who was fired over bad lighting. I would have to say, the movie being panned and a flop is sweet justice for the way Ted Griffin was treated. Ask Kevin Costner who was made into a scapegoat for Aniston’s failings. Ask the people behind Derailed. I’m sure they’ll be thrilled to work with her again after being blamed that it flopped. Ask Aniston why after 2 years she can’t still get her films greenlighted by a major film studio. Maybe she should try the hedge fund route?
Not one of J/P fans is here of jealousy but of hate, or at least disrespect, she still wishes to have never lose Brad. She would see much more red carpets than this useless award. she may arrive with some man but she goes to her home alone.

If you have the money she had plus with the help and connection of the notorious PR guru of HW - Stephen Huvane. any starlet could have those lame award. Hmmmm, but it seems those awards were not helping her semi-comatous career. thou, it does help her to be in the news for 1 day then its over. it’s like telling the producers ” hey Jennifer’s still alive , hire me, hire me!” that’s all.
Hahahaa, even the faniston fans are admitting she did had rhinoplasty which she denied strongly. She ’s sooooooooo fake and fraud!
That nose is smaller but she still look so manly, it’s just changing from Dustin Hoffman look alike to Jay Lenon look alike. still a man.

Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep have signed on to star in the adaptation of Kim Wozencraft’s novel WANTED, Variety reports.
I just don’t see the difference in her nose. You would think if one was getting plastic surgery, there would be a big difference?
Anyway, I know a girl that met her when she was filming in Chicago; she said that she’s prettier in person and is extremely down to earth.
Jen looks fantastic.
