Madonna Tours Malawai

Madonna and 10-year-old daughter Lourdes tours a U.N. Millennium village on Monday in Mtanga, Malawi.

Shortly after touching down in the country, the mother-daughter duo toured U.N.-backed development projects in the small village of Mtanga while son David Banda waited in the car with a nanny. They were welcomed by singing women and children.

Madge is overseeing the building of a children’s health care center with the Earth Institute’s Glenn Denning, who accompanied her on the tour.

Isn’t it sad that the majority of the negative and critical comments posted on this site refer to Madonna’s fashions? I think the fact that she’s out in Africa, helping fund clinics and orphanages is perhaps a little more important than what hat she’s wearing….what a sad statement on western/American culture. Whether I like her music or not, I respect her for putting her money where her mouth is, and actually trying to make a difference…which is more than most of us can say, sitting at home on our computers, READING about it. It’s pretty easy to criticize someone’s altruistic efforts from behind a computer screen, isn’t it?

Hmmm, which kid should I take today? I think the girl looks better with my outfit.

If she cares so much about Africa and especially Malawi she should give all her money to this country that is to say $325 million. Or at least keep 10 millions for herself and her family and give the remainder to this country.

Anyway everything is free for her she doesn’t need money. She doesn’t care about Malawi for her 5 millions is nothing considering the fact that it is a huge publicity for her so more fans and more $$$$$$$$$$$.
This woman should have worked for advertissement she definitely know how to sell herself or the others.

Why does everyone call her youngest son David BANDA? Isn’t that the name of his bio dad? Why call him that? Until the adoption goes through I think the press should just refer to him by David. Sounds strange not to.

Beautiful daughter but what is going on with Maddona. That age is shining through she is not aging gracfully. If she was the average woman with no money she would look even worse. Now I see why the plastic surgery field is booming. She needs to put more money in it cause she looks bad.

Okay that pisses me off. I’ve just got back from doing a months aid work in Africa. Just imagining these people in the places i was working in just seems totally wrong.Urgh!
