David Beckham showed off his black and blue keffiyeh (typical Arab headdress) in Madrid, Spain earlier this month, while Colin Farrell paired his black and white keffiyeh with a newsboy cap in Bruges, Belgium last month.

it is just as Samara (comment# 16) has positioned it. Keffiyeh is the most common clothing piece worn in Palistine. I assume that’s the reason some find it offensive.

I’ve been wearing my keffiyeh as a scarf for two years now. I had my brother get them for me when he was station in Iraq. I love that it was so different. Colin’s keffiyeh is more traditional and like the one I’ve got but I love Beckham’s one. It’s so fashionable. Does anyone know where you could get one?
P.S. I didn’t know that wearing keffiyeh made a political statement. Now that I know, I’m going to wear it more often. Free Palestine!

Hey idiots there is no Palestine! Israel was re-named Palestine by the Romans and has no Arab connection. Jews were the first to be called Palestinians. There has never been a Palestinian people, country, culture or language. Palestine is free now ibecause it’s back to it’s original name; Israel!
