Fashion Faceoff: Keffiyehs
David Beckham showed off his black and blue keffiyeh (typical Arab headdress) in Madrid, Spain earlier this month, while Colin Farrell paired his black and white keffiyeh with a newsboy cap in Bruges, Belgium last month.
Who wears it best? DAVID BECKHAM or COLIN FARRELL?

The keffieyeh is ONLY for arabs, it is a sign of arab solidarity and their own dress style, the hypocritical west should not wear it, they call us terrorists, murderers and rag-heads, then they copy and dress like us. Only wear a keffiyeh if you are in support of the palestinian cause, dont wear it as a fashion statement, those are clothes one should not play with. There is something about the name Pales which the name Palestine came from, but I cant remember what it was about.
and both of those people are today called Palestinians, there is no such thing as isreal.

You are so right, the canaanis were the first to reside palestine “5000 BC” so at first it was called “the land of canaan”, and the canaanis are considered as “the ancient arabs” , because they are the ancestors of many arabs, and untill now many palestinians have canaani roots.
Then, another people came from the island of crete “near cyprus and greece” and called “the palist”, so palestine was called with this name. When they came to palestine, they blended and mixed with the canaanis and became more like one people..The palestinian people.
and the people of palestine is a mix between many races like arabian, european,african,morrocan,mideterranian.,so you can find in palestine alot of skin colours and they all have resided palestine for hundreds of years,for example:i am palestinian and my hair is brown and my skin color is white, and you may find a palestinian that looks exactly like african people and he is originally palestinian.
another fact, islam isn’t a religion of terrorism but you should know that islam is the most perfect and peaceful religion i’ve ever seen..read Holy Quran and espically the verse that says :”The closest people to the muslims are the Christians”..were the hell is the terrorism..in islam you can’t kill a child, a woman, an old man or an old woman, a disabled, an unarmed man when you are in a war, even if they are your enemy..in islam you can’t cut off a tree!!!!you can’t kill and ant!!!!…islam is the religion of peace and check it on the internet.

They thought it looked good so they wore it………Beckham’s grandfather was Jewish and according to him mainly attending Jewish occassions; weddings and Barmitzvahs when he was a kid……and Farrell is converting to Judaism for his girlfriend……..so I doubt that it’s political about ‘freeing’ Palestine…..If you want to ‘Free’ Palestine as Jordan, whose population is 80% Palestinians to give their country back to the ‘Palestinians as it made up 78% of what was the Palestinian Mandate - 1917 -21. Try reading some history books…..
It is a shame that when everyone is so interested in sporting their fashion accessory of a palestinian scarf. No one takes a moment to actually realise that it has much greater significance as a symbol of an oppressed people.
