Fashion Faceoff: Chanel Couture Dress
Jennifer Aniston showed off perfects pins in a belted Chanel Spring-Summer 2007 Haute Couture Mini-dress at the 2007 GLAAD Awards in Hollywood on Saturday. She finished off her look in sandals by Tunisian-born fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa.
Who wears it best? JENNIFER ANISTON or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

Sorry, but how can I say it delicately? Yes, the model is a “hanger” as Mediterranean says, but on Aniston somehow the dress loses class. On Aniston Chanel can’t project its ELEGANCE. She looks like a beach bum with dirty orange skin going to a disco… And no offence, short dresses like this aren’t meant for someone with short legs like Aniston…

Jennifer looks good without the black stockings and that black poofy-forearm thing that the model wore because Jennifer is tanned (dark) and this dress was meant to be worn on a dark body or with dark-stalkings. The model wore those things because she is friggin’ white as powder and it’s too harsh of a contrast and would look too top-heavy with just the dress alone.
Jennifer wears it better! It looks better without the leggings and crazy jewelry. And I know it was Karl Lagerfeld who styled it, not the model.

The model is wearing it as a minidress with black tights and all-black accessories–too much black in my opinion. The slicked-back hair is very severe, plus the big earrings and featherlike arm things are too much.

Jen’s beach girl look makes the dress look like dish rag…way too casual, especially with the hand in the pocket look. The model is dressed up to show off the dress, which she does. On Jen, the dress is being worn to show off her body. Two different intentions, two different looks. The dress looks better on the model as a couture design, the physical Jen looks good in the dress, but way less classy than the model. However, the dress serves its purpose…to show off her body.

You are so right. Acting like a teenager at her age is funny as h*ll. No wonder she is alone. Someone needs to tell her that look will chase the men away. Her dog would look better in the dress.
definitely the model! you gotta be tall with long legs to look good in any of those gorgeous dresses. and, the dog that she is (maniston) is way toooooooo short with short legs, and nothing will ever look that great on her. Excuse me, is it her/or he!!!!! she’s a DOG, and she definitely has a MAN’s face, and that will certainly never change. thats for sure! oh! and that nose job she had, only made her look even uglier, than she already was! ha! ha! ha! man, everytime i look at this dog, the he/she always makes me laugh!
