Brad & Angelina to do the Cannes Cannes
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to open the Cannes Film Festival on May 16 in France with A Mighty Heart, produced by Pitt’s company, Plan B.
“The story unfolds like a mystery,” said Jolie, who plays Mariane Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. “You’ve got people collecting clues and trying to solve what happened. But it’s also very real and personal. We didn’t want it to be too melodramatic or too polished. We didn’t want it to be a typical movie.”
Says co-star Dan Futterman (pictured), “It would usually take about five minutes before people would figure out that it was Angelina. So we ended up shooting a lot of the exterior stuff in five-minute increments.”

Can I disagree? I like Maria’s posts, even though she does ramble sometimes. Otherwise I wouldn’t have known what happened to my “godchild” Isabelle II, who hasn’t posted in a while. This is what makes JustJared so unique to me, it’s not just about BAMPZS, but also about our personal stuff, and we do form an international, caring community here. I know a lot of people hate this, but we do have the option of scrolling and skipping.
Angelina as Marianne Pearl, she’s amazingly beautiful… Angie can play anybody in the movies and stay as pretty as always…no question about her talent and beauty… She rocks!!!!!! GOD BLESS ANGIE and BRAD…stay in love and nothing and nobody can destroy your relationship …. MUCH LOVE to the Jolie-Pitts and more power.

I do that myself sometimes when posting. Don’t worry, it’s not a bad or derogatory word.

good lord, the complaints continue. People talk in different languages here and maria, who is learning english, is trying her best to communicate with us. She is learning and trying so let’s not belittle her, I admire the fact that she is trying to learn a new language.

Maria rocks - and her english is fine, she expresses herself beautifully. More people should be like her - as it is, many Americans only speak one language fluently, and that’s just sad! It’s a goal of mine to be bilingual - and read, write and speak fluently in another language.

Speaking of Angelina as Marianne, didn’t Angie say in an interview that Brad didn’t want to kiss her when she was Marianne - it felt too weird, and she thought that was funny as hell. You know Brad is gone for his woman, when he feels like he’s cheating because she’s made up to look like someone else.
No problem maria, I am really tired of seeing people singled out here and having rude things written about them. I skip and scroll all the time and don’t see why others can’t too. Have a good night . :)

My kitchen is turning out nice … kaya lang, Pinoy ang gumagawa, kaya iyong 4 days naging six, hanggang ngayon hindi pa tapos ang paglalagay ng tiles, kaya sabog sabog pa ang mga gamit ko sa kusina. Bukas naman, iyong banyo, pagagandahin ang tiles at saka ang shower door, kasi kahi’t bago binili iyong condo, naluma ang shower door because of the hard water.
I will still be on vacation on Monday and Tuesday, I cannot go back to work with the kitchen and bathroom in shambles, alam mo naman after all is said and done, I will still do the clean up and decoration.
So I guess we’ll just have to see Brad in the Toronto Film Festival (kaway to Ariel). We’ll have to fly there and into the nearest hotel to the festival, and then stake the place out to make sure we have the choicest spot to see Brad (hopefully Angie too).
