Brad & Angelina to do the Cannes Cannes
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to open the Cannes Film Festival on May 16 in France with A Mighty Heart, produced by Pitt’s company, Plan B.
“The story unfolds like a mystery,” said Jolie, who plays Mariane Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. “You’ve got people collecting clues and trying to solve what happened. But it’s also very real and personal. We didn’t want it to be too melodramatic or too polished. We didn’t want it to be a typical movie.”
Says co-star Dan Futterman (pictured), “It would usually take about five minutes before people would figure out that it was Angelina. So we ended up shooting a lot of the exterior stuff in five-minute increments.”

Not only would there would have been legal proceedings drawn against Angie, all the child experts and pundits would have been on every talk show condemning her, her life would have surely been threatened too. I’ve always thought Alec Baldwin was a scumbag, but what’s worse, is that he will get away with this simply because ‘he’s a man.’ Contrary to what we’d like to believe, there is such a double standard between men and women, and when it comes to Angie, well, she’s in a league of her own, and not of the mortal kind, I fear.

gosh, I am glad I turned the computer back on. Amaya, are you the person who was writing the fanfic? Or was her name Gray something? She hasn’t been on in quite awhile, like so many others.
I hope AJ/BP have a picture of Shiloh looking at Z’s cracker. If thy do they can show it to her when she is old enough to understand. Those pictures of her and Z are priceless. Also the ones each of them took with their dad, Shiloh at the movie site, and Z at Baskin Robbins, or any of the ones Z has taken with Brad.
I saw E tonight. I am happy that man, can’t remember his name, said what he said. I especially loved the fighting with pigs will only get you dirty, but the pigs will have fun comment. After that how can any rational thinking, hate free person not see that the tabs have a vendetta against the jolie/pitts, but especially Angie.
If they see this now there is no hope for the haters. But people are speaking up in defense of them, which is a good thing. Don’t question the motives of E, let’s appreciate the message. Peace

I hope most of the regular people stay here .You are all so wonderful especially in the way you handle the nonsense Sadly their biggest as in the ugly hearts joy is when they do “get “to you, well no whats sadder is that we have such hateful jealous people in this world . I have always enjoyed JJ’s because most of you have a way of making this forum so cosy talking about the happier things and enjoying each others company.

Brad has always wanted to work with the Coen brothers. He was suppose to do a silent film with them but the production company got spooked about the film being silent. The Coen’s probably offered Brad a great/funny character role.

Brad and George play off each other so well so this sounds like it will be a fun movie, one of the Coen’s black comedies. If Angelina is only working 40 days this year, someone in the family has to bring home more bacon, 4 kids are expensive. LOL.

Yuehun sweety, because she has a beautiful heart and lucky enough a face to go with it. Even without that beauty people would still love her. She is also a very honest person and ofcourse it does sometimes get her into trouble with the media because they try to scrutinise her information and present it in a negative way to the public. Most of the public especially we here, see the real Angie and we do not allow our opinions to be clouded by the media that can sometimes be very mean towards her.What you see is what you get. She does not hide who she is. She is also very down to earth and a really good mother to hers and Brads four children. When she loves a person she loves them truly and tries her best to make them happy. For example she loves Brad and when they met she knew that Brads biggest wish was to have a biological child and she gave him what he wanted and Brad is very happy. That is true love. What more can I say? I could but I leave it at that. It is hard not to like Angie. I cant make you like her but I can assure you that I have always liked Angie and always will.

Is it me or does it seem like this was all Brad’s idea. See, we knew as early as Jan 2007 that O13 was going to be shown at Cannes. And some of us wondered if Angelina will go or if one of her movie will debut there too.
Now we have not only O13 confirmed but AMH. I would like to think Brad is behind this because he got to keep his woman and family close. Doesn’t like to be separated from them.

Oh, contrare, Kearnie! According to Star, L&S and OuttaTouch the J-Ps have one foot each on a banana peel. Why, you can’t possibly think they’d…gasp…LIE…can you? Never, never. Cindy G was just issuing a denial to hear herself talk. Brad is actually going to Cannes to get AWAY from Angie…and…uh…she found out about it…and uh…yeah…made Michael Winterbottom rush finishing the film and to show it at Cannes so she could follow him there! Yeah..yeah…that’s what happened! It’s got to be…cuz the tabs say they’re over…done…kaput…finito…toast sans jelly…
KK1, thanks for bringing Brad’s new project. “Burn After Reading” seems comedic spy movie and George will play assassin and didn’t take CIA agent’s role. Brad might take that role. Anyway Coen Brothers’s movies have been always unusual and interesting. Brad and George will beat each other with tricks and jokes. Where is African Girl ?

I read the article earlier today. After slogging throught the tabs the last few months it was real joy to read an UNBIASED story on Angie and the making of AMH. I was hoping for a bit of a review on the film, but no such luck. We’ll just have to wait a month and find out at Cannes.

PT ITA. I am actually waiting for the reviews to discuss her interpretation. Not very often actors get a chance of playing someone who is still alive. See what it did for Helen Mirren. I know Marianne Pearl is not an iconic character like the British monarch, but the transformation, without big prosthetics is remarkable.

That’s great I’m from Nice so Cannes is just the city next to mine… I’m probably gonna passed by to see them. I already saw Brad Pitt in Cannes in 2004 with ex Jennifer Aniston, so this time it’s gonna be with his new love ;)
Sorry I also wanted to say: are they gonna be together? Cause Brad’s gonna be in Cannes for Ocean’s 13, and Jolie for A Mighty Heart so I don’t if I’m gonna see each. This 2 movies are certainly not gonna be presented the same day.
