Fashion Faceoff: Monique Lhullier Dress

Kelly Clarkson steps out in a moss green chiffon Monique Lhuillier cocktail dress with a pearl-laden neckline from the Spring/Summer 2007 collection at the ASCAP Awards on Wednesday. The former American Idol champ finished off her outfit with a pair of blinged-out stilettos.

Who wears it best? KELLY CLARKSON or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

The dress may not flatter Kelly’s figure too much, but it definitely doesn’t do much good showing off those knobbly knees poking out from the model’s legs. That’s just disturbing.

Kelly looks pathetic in that dress. Those legs should never be on display and that style dress is bad for something who balloons out the further down their body you go, like Kelly. Girl, get someone who knows who to flatter your look, not make you look ridiculous and become a laughing stock.

Apparently the dress was designed for an anorexic, but I much prefer it on a healthy woman like Kelly. Nothing looks good on skin and bones in my eyes.

#21 WOW, you rock! Awsome comment on the anorexic model girl! As for Kelly, her outfit was ok. Not her best but not her worst. The dress is way better on a normal person than those bulimic anorexic people. And she is NOT the fat pig that you are maruca. She’s beautiful with an awsome talent. Kelly, you rock!!!!

I hate it when people label all models with an eating disorder. She’s thin. She’s a model, she’s supposed to be. And she looks fine. Better than Kelly Clarkson. I don’t understand why people are trying so hard to promote being chubby. It’s not very healthy either. And I’m sure that the only people leaving mean comments about the models are people that wish they could drop a few pounds themselves.

are u even serious by asking this question?!!!! i’m not into skinny people but she looks like a cow. jeeeez. she is in an industry that image counts. she should get her act together and start eating like a human being. until she does that she shouldn’t be bearing her arms and legs. pants is the word or long skirts maybe. and the bob is hideous on her face.

not a fan of the dress either way, but kellys amazing and looks so cute!!! um and Vanessa(#21) wake up a little, kelly is not chubby/fat or whateva else u low lifes are calling her, shes got CURVES and actually has meat on her bones and is a healthy girl, thats the way woman were meant to be, and its known fact that the majority of stick thin models inflict that look on themselves, yes i agree some are naturally thin but c’mon even u know most of em starve themselves!!! GO KELLY U ROCK!!!!

My vote is for the model. Kelly looks like a linebacker. Her head and thighs are twice the size of the model. That dark hair doesn’t hide the bulging cheeks either.
