Nicole Kidman Snaps Back at Snappers
Nicole Kidman makes a brief stop at a Sydney pharmacist in Australia on Sunday morning. The native Australian is in town to shoot the Baz Luhrmann-directed epic Australia co-starring Hugh Jackman.
Nicole, 39, recently turned the tables on paparazzi with the help of Fox Studios, placing a security team outside her Darling Point mansion to monitor every move the persistent paparazzi make to help prevent stalkers.
When photographers or reporters pull up to Kidman’s mansion, a security officer emerges from their solar-paneled mini-van with tinted windows, takes a photo of each person, and demands the individual say his or her name into a hand-held voice recorder. Ca-razy!

She was fabulous in the TV drama The Bangkok Hilton, I admired her work for years after that. Her looks? Well she never was a classic Hollywood beauty but she was always very pretty and also definately had that certain something which made her stand out, now… not so much. I can’t quite put my finger on what’s changed, I always thought she’d age well like Susan Sarandon but she hasn’t (to me anyway). Still a great actress though.

She was cute when she did that movie with Michael Keaton. It was on the Oxygen channel today. GOD what has happened to her? Michael Jackson looks like Cary Grant compared to the way she’s destroyed her hair and her face.

This woman only looks good on the red carpet. Otherwise, she has absolutely no style and her figure is like a 12 year old boy’s. I really don’t get why anyone thinks she is the least bit sexy. Pretty face…that’s it…everything else is awkward and boyish.
JoAnn, People magazine is part of Nicole’s PR group. She gives them exclusives, they print her photos and flattering stories. Same thing with Angie. She does have a boyish figure, I guess that’s why she got a boob job a while ago. I watched Moulin Rouge the other day and I can’t get over how much she’s changed since. Sad.

Wow!!! I thought I might find this site a pleasant one to hang out in, but you guys are viscious. I’m not much of an internet browser. I just kind of poke around here and there and I comment very little. Although I’ve started to here, but I guess I’m going to have to rethink that decision. I’ve been warned by many that the internet is really just a snake pit where the masses come to spew their venom (that is, those sites devoted to celebrity). The truth is, we really know nothing about these people except the blurbs we run across which true or not, somehow become fact and then we just keep on regurgitating them. We know nothing. We just talk and act like we do. What I don’t understand is, if you don’t care for Ms. Kidman, then why the need to come here, look at her photos and then rip her to shreds? What do you get out of it? What does it do for you? I’m really curious. Is it simply a case of nasty, immature people with nothing better to do than publicly (though anonymously…very brave there) run down other human beings that they DO NOT KNOW? Or are we really dealing with very sad human beings who who are emotionally damaged and cannot speak up in real life and tend to sit there and take it, so…they have to have an outlet like this to vent?
I really don’t know, but I really am curious.

It is sad, isn’t it Australian Girl? When I think of all the horror in the world; young men and women dying on the battlefield, a classroom of young people being slaughtered for NOTHING, a hurricane practically destroying a city and wrecking lives, a tsunami that took thousands, planes turned into flying bombs whose goal was mass murder, a Holocaust whose cruelty towards humanity defies description, countries in Africa being ravaged by AIDS, children dying of disease, people living in such poverty, dispair and misery that they’d give anything just to have running water within their reach, broken hearts, loneliness, the list goes on and on and with all of that, people expend their time and energy in attacking someone they don’t even know; her hair, her body, her clothes, her parenting, her very skin? Surely we can do better than this. We can be better than this. And this isn’t just about a movie star. This is about US. Who are we? Why are we here? I don’t know why this has affected me like this. I guess it’s because it makes me feel ashamed. We live in this modern world with all of our conveinences and technology that has made our lives so much easier than those who came before us and yet…human behavior is dwindling by the day. Where is our shame, our dignity? What is happening to us?
Now who’s venting? Time to go read a book, I guess.

nic is gorgeous i am quite sure she hasnt actually had much plastic surgery if any!! i think the ones being bitchy need to keep their gobs shut as i highly doubt any of u are as beautifull and elegant as she is!
