The Alec Baldwin “Daddy Dearest” Talking Doll is the latest hilarious creation by Gallery of the Absurd, poking fun of the angry voicemail Alec left his 11-year-old daughter Ireland.

Ekkk … not sure how funny it is? Actually the situation is very sad, I feel terrible for Ireland and hope she does not absorb either of her parents poor morals.
This is just awful. This child will be forever branded by the release of this tape. Alec lost his cool and acted like a jerk but Kim’s desire for revange will hurt Ireland even more. Nobody is thinking about the kid here.
I don’t think this is funny and I think the media is total BS. Kim Basinger I actually believe is doing her daughter harm as well. Yes Kim and Ireland may be mad at Alec but I believe the man is a good father. Parents yell at their kids? Why is this news? Kim is trying to get revenge on Alec and in the end it will hurt their daughter. Kim Basinger is just as bad I actually think she’s very manipulative.
They’re both selfish, narcissistic, juvenile idiots.
Having said that, what Alec Baldwin said to his child IS a big deal. Parents yell at their kids, sure, but this was psychotic verbal abuse. That poor, poor kid.
I cannot believe how some of you can turn this around to blame this on Kim. It’s the old double standard thing, if it was Kim who had been shouting like this to Ireland, she would have been crucified. Since this lunatic is a man, oh, he’s ‘just been pushed to the edge.’ Bet if Ireland was infront of him while he was on this incoherent rampage, she would have been belted a couple blows. But that’s OK, ‘he’s been pushed to the edge.”
I find it amazing that people seem to find it acceptable that if parents get angry at their children it’s okay to resort to name calling. You know, if a teacher called one of their annoying students a lazy fat pig that teacher would probably lose his/her job. A teacher is pushed to the limits often (and in larger numbers) and it takes all strenghth in the world to calm down, and just say “This behavior is unexceptable”. Have those private thoughts about how that child really behaves, but don’t rage at an eleven year old. Why should parents be any different? Why should they think they have right to this bullying behavior. By yelling at her, what was Alex trying to prove? If he feels that he’s the victim, then he needs to deal with it, and not take it out on an ll-year old child. I feel for Ireland, whatever bitterness and anger her parents have towards each other, they are using her. Maybe she needs to be in protective custody from the both of them. Hopefully she won’t grow up to be another screwed up Hollywood kid.
parents shout at their kids all the time and the kids will just feel bad for a while & then they move on to do the next naughty thing they can think of. unfortunately, alec’s outburst is recorded on tape & his ex-wife will use anything to get leverage on their custody battle. if this incident is going to leave any lasting emotional scar on their daughter, it’s all kim’s fault. they could’ve just settled it privately among themselves but she made it public instead. she didn’t even think of the stigma her daughter will now bear because of this fiasco.

I´ve always thought Alec seems like an aggressive man with no understanding how to deal with love and treat people who loves him.
His eyes are so angry all the time and even his skin has the colour like he was boiling inwardly all the time. Scary man. Wouldn´t want to have anything to do with him.
