Celine Dion & Elvis Presley Duet

i’m sorry, but that was the dumbest thing i’ve seen since nat king & natalie cole did a “duet” like 20 years ago. i got up & took a leak when i saw elvis & celine come out.

yeah i thought it was creepy/weird too.

I thought that was the coolest, sweetest, best thing ever!! I have tears in my eyes just thinking off the moments like this we lost when he died. Bravo!!!!

neither. it’s alarming that we accept this blurring of reality. the line is being pushed much too far.

Many may be too young to feel that tingling feeling mixed with sadness and reminiscence of days gone past……but, like Danielle…it brought tears to my eyes, and wishing for the days back when. Although there were many challenges….there were still the unknown that needed to be discovered. The turning of the era and lifestyles. You were still able to find those with that fighting heart, and pride in humanity. Nowadays…..it is sad how our generation have taken advantage of the bountiful blessings, and disregarding what it means to earn your pay. No work ethics, it is mostly……hand outs…..but, our society made it this way……so sad. I miss those days….it was a beautiful duet…..

That was so creepy! I don’t know how they did it, if it was a hologram or if it was computer-generated.

What’s even creepier was Sanjaya siniging on stage as well when he wasn’t really there! They brought him back like they did Elvis. The performance of Celvis was taped before Sanjaya was eliminated so they had to do some editing. But they forgot to edit him out. Next thing you see he’s in the audience! LMBFAO!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it amazing! I would have loved to listen to Elvis only, but nonetheless it was fantastic…LOVED IT!!

This was technological perfection. Can those who are under 25 years of age understand how much effort was made by passionate people who dreamt that this day would come ! It was spotless and daring and magnificent ! This was the birth of your future! Remember you saw it, and but maybe you didn’t see it for its significance.

It was amazing to see Elvis one more time on stage singing with those lights shinning on him as they should have. What a treat. Some of you may not know but August will be 30 years since we lost Elvis and to see him last night was like a dream for many of us. Celine was great and I am sure if Elvis was still here he might have just done a duet with her. I had tears and goosebumps and I was sad knowing this wasn’t for real. That is what need to know, it was entertainment not real. But, Elvis will always be real in my heart and in so many others. Thank you American Idol for giving us a little of what we lost 30 years ago. I could have watched that all night..
