I wish people would let them be…I always feel like we are just as guilty as the media b/c we are the ones spending hours on here blogging, creating a frenzy, putting the demand high for news of them, pics, stories…some complain about the God-awful tabloids, but don’t mind reading the articles or looking at the pictures…just a fact…the poor family can’t do anything without someone dissecting their every move…if there was tension, I can sure understand it…several marriages and relationships have admitted the media played a factor in creating problems…if they survive it all, then it says something about their strength as a couple…I say good luck to them…

Ok…..I don´t really know when it started- but I´ve totally lost my friendly feelings towards Angelina.

I really liked her in the beginning (2000- 2005), she was cool, she looked way better than now, she was wild and not so damn annoying.

There are alot of things that lead me to further dislike her, though listing it will simply take too much time.

The adoption of this new kid really sealed it for me.
Not only is she adopting way too fast, but this kid is seriously disturbing their family relations.
(Now, don´t toast me for saying this…..this is my opinion, I´m sure you all have your own as well)

Does anybody else think Angelina has qualities from a lot of differents actress and actors mixed in one person like…

-Marilyn Monroe; she too has been a Sex Simbol who was consider to have emotional problems and a lot of people LUSTER after her, just like with Angie.
-Elizabeth Taylor; consider a dark haired vixen who has said that her best lover was the camera; i also think this to be true of Angie.
-Ingrid Bergman; they both have been TREATED UNFAIRLY FOR FALLING IN LOVE with a man that others don’t want her to be with.
-Audrey Hepburn; for caring for others and wanting to help those who have less.

Richard Roaper (from Ebert & Roaper) have said that Angelina reminds him of Rita Hayworth. Somebody ones wrote that Angelina could be compared to Robert DeNiro in how she handled her earlier work and even some critics have said that Angelina has the weird personality and eccentricities of Jack Nicholson with the RAW Sex Appeal of Marlon Brandon.

It’s because she seems to have all this differents personalities and she is very complex that no one can really describe her or be sure about what she is going to do; because when someone is sure she about to do one thing… she does the opposite, someone onces wrote that Angelina only adopted kids because she was too shallow to have any biological but she proved them wrong anf had her baby with Brad. And they also predicted that this relationship with Brad was not going to last and look… Angie and Brad are still together and going strong!!

Why can she run to Oprah crying about every trivial rag and tab headline then not knock down the ‘triangle’ headlines as well? It’s because they are plants from HUVANE, that’s why - they don’t want them to go away, they both know it would be career suicide if she totally disassociated her tabloid/yellow press life from Brad!

You’d think at some point in all of this, she’d be totally mortified that they were making her out to be this sad pitiful reject and linking her to the ‘triangle’ - when Brad doesn’t know she’s alive, and has Angelina Jolie and his babies…most women who got dumped would find that humiliating.

…but the truth is….she doesn’t CARE what Brad thinks at this point. It’s never been about him, and what she feels for him, or what he thinks of her in all of this. I think she was over him while they were still hitched.

But what she DOES care about, is the incessant media coverage that includes her as a ‘third wheel’ and part of a triangle.

She apparently wants the public (or at least the brain dead portion that believes tabloids) to see her as in Brad’s circle - she (and Huvane) want someone…ANYONE…to see her as a ‘wanted’ commodity, which is why we get the stories that we do, and why she denies some tabloid lies and not others.

Congratulations to them. Just by pure coincidence , after I read this news on Jared I put the radio on and heard the end of a lecture by Angelinas advisor Dr Jeffrey Sachs. He’s doing a series of lectures for the BBC on world issues and specifically poverty. I think that the fact that the JPs associate with people like him and focus on these kind of issues and their family life rather than the tabloid tittle tattle and spite written about them says it all about them IMO. They know what’s important.

I don’ think so, Shiloh pics right now are not as hot as last year, the same with Suri. After they released a lot of “candids” of her this year while they were living in NOLA the price went down A LOT. As for Pax, the pics of him are not that “wanted”. If anything will see more “candids” of the kids while they are in Europe later this month but not more photoshoots. Since AMH will open limited released the promo will not be as much like TGS. Also, I don’t think we’ll get too much info about Shiloh’s birthday, since neither of her parents released info about the celebration of the other kids birthdays.

Actually the sells of tabbies have nothing to do with Angie. It’s about those that are willing crawl into the gutter to make a few $$. But in the end who really lost out? Not Angie, it was the idiots that bought the lies/forked over the bucks and who print them. Afterall they are the ones with egg on their faces — No Brad leaving, instead we get the name change and adoption in the works. So let tabliods carry on because it will be them on the losing end.

As the saying goes — ‘the best revenge is living well’. And by gosh that is what the Jolie-Pitts are doing. Living life on their terms and people like you are haters can’t stand it. Angie doesn’t want or need a publist — if she did she would have hired one a long time ago. The thread got polluted when TLC brought JA up (sorry girl but it’s true). How much longer before your brain will detach the X from everything that Angelina and Brad do? Their every action no longer correlates back to how JA will react to it, anywhere else in the universe but in your brain. I love the passion and verve that the fans here have for the JP’s, but it’s lame and soooo boring when it automatically gets linked back to JA. Can’t we just celebrate and enjoy all the great milestones in their lives without attaching hate to it?

Once again I’m in agreement with your thoughts. And Lady G, I love that saying about living well, it fits so well in the JPs case.

Oooh slightly OT but maybe relevant (ish) last night I saw a documentary about the running of a magazine, Grazia. I would say it’s the equivalent of a US tabloid. Anyway they seemed to get most if not all of thier main stories by scouring the Internet, reading other publications and gossiping amongst themselves. There was a halfhearted attempted to show that they had some ‘insiders’, a phone call from someone who knew someone who else who knew Madonnas trainer- but that was it! So ironically the basis of most tabloid stories seems to be a bunch of women mostly (I’m sad to say) gossiping, then printing and passing on their ridiculous unfounded conclusions to a much larger bunch of gossips and er…that’s it! Of course I suppose they do get some stuff correct sometimes and the pics are good but for the most part I say cut out the middle man- I’m just going to get the info from other sources and make my own mind up.

I’m not surprised that this is how Grazia operates - or any other tabloid for that matter. These rags appeal to people’s most base behaviour to gossip and spread malicious untruths. I recognize the name of that rag because I recall that occasionally we will see pictures of the JP’s here that are from their publication. At least they tend to pick out better pictures than some of the American rags. I’ve just never bought in to the garbage they spout and ironically I find more ‘hard news’ from the fans here through the many great links they post - on a celebrity blog site!

“Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more importantly, are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria, and conflict, or whose parents are sick and dying. The vast majority of these children are being cared for by extended families and communities that desperately need support to overcome the ravages of HIV/AIDS and poverty. Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt have provided an invaluable opportunity to mobilize the resources needed to help hard-hit communities care for and raise these kids.”

Hey all! I have the People magazine right here with me. The cover is Drew Barrymore and I must say it’s a very good photo of her. Now the good news, Kerry Washinton is in this issue twice. Yes the former co-star of Brad & Angelina in MMS made the list as did outrfavorite couple. On pages 130-131 (kinda like a centerfold) there’s a picture of Angelina with a HUGE smile with an African child held by her mother. I think this was taken in Chad. On the inset is a photo of a happy Brad & Angelina at Brad’s premiere of GGTOU. This WORLD”S MOST BEAUTIFUL issue seems to be divided into sub categories. Brad & Angelina begins the section of “These striking celebs do more than just look good, They do good.” “Beauty Inside & Out”. Under Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Humanitarian Issues is: Advocates for a variety of humanitarian causes inluding ending genocide in places like Darfur, providing relief to refugees and helping AIDS orphans.
