Susie - I have been so busy with work and spring gardening, haven’t been on much. But, when I read what Cliniqua wrote, I assumed that perhaps there was a clip of Angelina on the show also, at the very least. I read through the posts fast and don’t study them like I am getting ready for a test.

But you know what? Your comment got alot more attention than it should have. Too much negativity here lately (not from you, by the way)

There are plenty of sharp fans here who see the same things that C does. They don’t need it spelled out for them. They realize that their fellow fans are smart enough to figure out these things on their own or have their own opinion about things. Just because they don’t have the same overinflated ego and think that everyone here needs to be subjected to their rantings every day doesn’t mean that they don’t.
Give yourself more credit for being able to think on your own.

Really, ‘good grief’…….i do believe youre presuming too much.
While it is true that to a significant extent, we BAMPZS fans here on JJ are the proverbial “choir” to which no one needs to “preach” in order for us to “figure out these things on our own,” etc., at the same time, we cannot go burying our head in the sand about certain realities: for example - there are many fans here from different countries, cultures and languages, therefore, perhaps they can benefit from some fans taking the time to “spell things out” for them.
Then theres this: the cutthroat, dog-eat-dog manner in which things are done in the hollyHood is almost unique……..its a place where beauty-on-the-surface, financial success and having the ‘right image’ are premium commodities that the players in the hollyHood will KILL for. Literally. And figuratively, of course, which is sometimes just as bad.
Then, there’re the professional communicators. This profession is a premium one in a place like hollywood where image is EVERYTHING. Im sure we can agree that this profession has more than its fair share of unscrupulous practioners.
And then, there are the consumers of tabloid trash. This population comprises both fans, haters and naysayers; the naive, etc. They definitely need things “spelled out” for them. Things need to be demystified, myths need to be debunked, facts need to be placed on the table (over and over and over again if necessary). And the truth needs to be told. (over and over and over again if necessary).
There are many fans here who do all that very well. Cliniqua has a particular style which, apparently, is recognized all over the ‘net (more power to her!) LOL
One aspect of her presentation which I, for one, appreciate greatly, is her ability to present very convincing arguments that connect the dots that point the way to the head of the stream of BAMPZS-hate. And I think we all know or believe we know where that’s located!

Arrest Warrant Issued for Richard Gere Over Kiss

An Indian court has issued an arrest warrant for Richard Gere over a public kiss he gave to Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty earlier this month.

Gere, 57, took Shetty, 31, in his arms, smooched her several times on the cheek and dipped her in a tango-style dance move during a public HIV-awareness event in New Delhi.

Indians in several cities later protested and burned effigies of Gere, saying the kiss was an “indecent” act and “against Indian culture.”

On Thursday, Judge Dinesh Gupta issued an arrest warrant in the northwestern city of Jaipur, acting on a petition by a local lawyer, and said the kiss “transgressed all limits of vulgarity,” according to reports in India.

Gupta earlier viewed footage of the event, which he called “highly sexually erotic.” He said the act violated India’s public obscenity laws, the Associated Press reports.

Under Indian law, anyone convicted of public obscenity faces up to three months in prison, a fine or both.

It’s not clear yet how the warrant will affect Gere, who visits India frequently for his work on AIDS and to meet the Dalai Lama in the town of Dharamsala in northern India.

The judge has not issued a warrant against Shetty but has ordered her to appear in court on May 5. After the furor, Shetty dismissed the incident as trivial, saying it was a shame that the protesters had not focused on the issue of AIDS instead.

Such legal cases against celebrities are becoming increasingly common in India as a way of getting publicity. Legal experts say it is likely that Gere’s lawyer will appeal to a higher court to quash the arrest warrant. They also expressed surprise at the court order.

“Judges normally issue arrest warrants only when a person has repeatedly ignored a court summons and refused to appear in court. They don’t do it the first time they hear a petition as this judge has,” said New Delhi lawyer Neeraj Kapoor.

So, do y’all remember last week when I posted a picture of Erika from the Bravo’s show “Work out” asking if y’all thought she looked like Angie? Well the episode where every tells her that she does aired this week, I missed it but I read her blog and other cast members and she did a “lookalike” photo shoot. Oh and in the same episode she is training a “writer” from STAR magazine lol Apparently she makes her cry :lol: I just find it funny that a woman that supposedly looks like Angie made a writer for Star cry.
