OlderAngelina Jolie @ GAC Launch — Part II
Here is your exclusive access to Board Member of Cambodian Health Committee and UN Goodwill Ambassador for High Commissioner for Refugees Angelina Jolie before the launch of “Global Action for Children” (GAC) on Thursday in Washington, DC. (See Part I here.)
“This is a happy day because it’s not often enough children are represented in this town,” Jolie said. “Their education and well being is an investment in our future.”
When asked about becoming more political or running for elective office, Jolie smiled and said, “I surely don’t think anybody here wants that. [My focus remains] in the field.”
“I feel very fortunate to have orphan children in my home,” added Jolie, who has three adopted children with partner Brad Pitt.

First of all, she looks great - a little tired, but look at everything she has on her plate at the moment. Show me a mom with 4 young children who looks this amazing on her schedule.
Second of all, you’ve completely missed the point of the whole thread and what Angelina is trying to accomplish. Why don’t you go to the link I’ve provided and read about what Global Action for Children is trying to accomplish, then come back and tell me how important it is that Angelina look as young and rested as you think she should? There’s more to a person’s value that what you see in a picture!!
Okay the interview just started and of course it’s all about John promoting his latest movie. Once again riding Angie coat tail — what a sperm donor!

What a waste of time……it was all about him and what he thinks is wrong with America. Nothing much said about Angie. Bill O talked about checking out Angie and that she really walk the walk and donate large sum of her salary. Oh and he mention that how sort after Angie is all over the world. That’s about it.
I am glad he finally kept his mouth closed about Angie, tho.
did you see Live with Regis and Kelly this week… they had a couple of Angelina look alikes… only one of them was a little like her… but would have to lose some weight…
She looks gorgeous, especally when she’s smiling. She does look a little tired, but with four kids all 5 and under, who wouldn’t??

I see what you see. I will not allow myself to go there because I don’t want my head to explode, obviously for different reasons than the haters.
The possibility would send the tabs into a tailspin. All of the reports about their distance vs. incontrovertable proof of their closeness pressing against Angelina’s S.t. John’s couture.
It would be too much to hope for if the possibility exists that it would completely discredit the very tabloids that trumpeted the opposite alternative.
Why is John Voight on Bill O’Rielly’s show? I can’t watch him he is so despicable.
People do you have to always be so critical of ANgelina?Have you all 4gotten it will be only 3 months on April.27,07 that her mother died!Gosh give it a rest(haters)!Maybe she has no appetite,or doesnt eat to much from loss of a love one. Can we say 3 months is barely anytime to grieve your mum,but she can still go out and try and help others.Angelina will gained weight probably when she starts to feel somewhat better but who can say when that will be!G

Thanks for the heads up on Jon V on O’Reily. One thing O’Reily mentioned is that they checked AJ out with her charitable donations and she is the real deal. She walks the talk. Jon V was careful not to put his foot in his mouth and say something that will be the headline for tomorrow. He came across as proud of AJ and all she has accomplish. O’Reily talked about AJ life in a fishbowl. However, Jon V made a good statement about how she is able to turn the spotlight away from her and onto people that need it. It is too bad that a lot of self-centered, whiny celebs cannot look beyond their interest to be of service to others.

I held my nose and watched BillO JV. Really about JV’s new movie. BillO very complementary to Angelina, said he had investigated her and she walks the walk, also that he feels sorry for her with all the publicity, acted like he sort of has a crush on her, said she was georgous. JV said nothing negative about Angelina, agreed she was georgous, etc. JV’s new movie about Mormons killing a wagon train of settlers on their way to Cali. JV then launched into a patriotic discussion and voiced his concens with religious fanatics. Actually positive to Angelina, showed pixs of her with Brad at GG. Shocking!!

My dear little fool, I haven’t missed the point. This is a gossip website. And 9.5 out of 10 comments above mine are extolling her “beautiful” looks in these photos. She looks haggard.
If I want to talk about serious charitable works, I’ll go to serious websites that have real information about what’s happening in the world.
By the way the video of the press conference is so much better. You can hear the sincerity of her words and commitment.
Please do not be lured into the weight gain discussion. She looks gorgeous. Let us not get into discussions that will take away from the message this woman is trying to bring. The tactics of the haters is that we not focus or her message but something else. Look at wha happened on the American Idol yesterday, it was because of the spotlight she brought to Africa.

My sound went on my computer so i was glad to be able to read the words but would not have been able to detect her being sick due to not being able to hear her speak. Lest we forget too she is still grieving her mom even though keeping at it with 4 kids in tow,
Does this women ever stop giving of herself . I too am so proud to be an Angie fan since the beginning. No wonder Brad loves her . She truly is beautiful inside and out.

9.5 out of 10 of the comments also talk about Global Action for Children. You, my dear, are the fool to not see what is right in front of your nose. The link I provided is a serious website about a serious issue - or perhaps you don’t consider 20 million orphans “serious” enough for you. Go turn on your news for some ‘real information’ - you will see Angelina on your screen there too sweetie.
