OlderAngelina Jolie @ Global Action for Children
Angelina Jolie announces the establishment of Global Action for Children (GAC)’s new headquarters in Washington, DC at a news conference held at the National Press Club on Thursday.
Angelina said, “The numbers associated with this problem are staggering. It is overwhelming and the scale of the problem seems to give many an excuse for inaction. In many ways it is better to think of these children one by one — each deserving of our care and attention, each being of equal value, and each being a test of whether justice — or injustice — will prevail.
“I am here to simply ask you to think about orphaned children not as a burden but as a great opportunity. Their education is an investment in our future. … They have had to work very, very hard to survive, but when they are given a chance, they grow strong, stronger than most. … The Lost Boys of Sudan are a great example.”
The GAC is a nonpartisan advocacy organization focused on on increasing funding by $2.5 billion per year by the U.S. government for programs that support orphans and vulnerable children.

What a woman!!! really, if you didn’t know, you would guess that she lost her mother almost 3months ago! Way to go Angie…do what’s important to you.
I’m an Angie fan. But I do agree, she has lost a ton of weight since her pregnancy, and she doesn’t look healthy. I am worried about her health. Its sad that before BP, she always looked healthy and happy. Now she looks superskinny and unhealthy.

Thanks Just Jared for the new thread. Haters always come out and vent, nothing new. They sit at Just Jared just waiting on news of the Jolie-Pitts. AJ is doing good work. Her personal life and career are doing just fine. She is a beautiful woman with a good and caring heart. It is good to see someone giving of their time and help to aid a worthy cause.
