Hello everyone, thanks for the new thread jj…can’t wait to read the rest of the article.

Real tita, an agent that works for a lookalike agency called her boss (Jackie) first asking about her because someone told him that she looked like Angie. When Jackie told her about him, she was kind of shocked and felt complimented. She went to do a photo shoot because usually when a company can’t afford a celebrity they hire lookalikes. The funniest thing is they also hired a Brad lookalike to pose with her :lol:

Thank you Jared for the Thread. The interview is simply wonderful. Marianne is the epitome of courage and grace. She simply wanted Angie to portray her long before the movie got made and all people who can not wrap their minds around it they can just shove it. LOL!!

And Brad was the only one among the other companies that took the time to read and appreciate her book. I’m glad that he went forward and materialized it because I’m sure it’s a great story and people need to know about it. We need to focus on some serious things about the world among all that loud of **** that surrounds us daily.

Here are my favorite parts so far:

MARIANE PEARL: One day a few years ago, I was alone in New York with Adam, still having a rough time [after Danny’s death]. I read an interview with Angie in a magazine, about her and Maddox and her life as a single mom. And I thought, this woman could be my friend…. I’d never experienced anything like that before in my life. It was something in her tone, in the answers that she gave. I felt also that Maddox and Adam [then both about three] could be good friends. So I sent her a note saying, do you want to have a playdate?

MP: …I had met with Brad separately about the movie, [but] he wasn’t connected at all with Angie at that time. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure I wanted to do a movie…. Everybody was using terrorism for their own political agenda at that time, and really, this is a story about Danny. But when I met Brad—well, out of all the studios, he was the only one who had actually read the book!

MP: Really…and I could see already that he wanted to have children, and to raise them in a world of tolerance…. I don’t think I would have done it if I didn’t feel a direct connection to Brad and, then, Angie.

AJ: We all had an understanding that it couldn’t be a traditional melodrama: You know, “Mariane starts to get upset and the camera gets really, really close.” Because the wonderful thing about Mariane, and the book, is that she’s not like that. You know, Mariane, you’re somebody who has every right to have a lot of anger. And the fact that you take a deep breath and stand up with a very clear voice of tolerance and dialogue—that’s why I wanted to do the film.

MP: I think (Daniel) would be really proud. You know, he’s the person I did it for. If it were just for me, I wouldn’t have done a movie at all. But without the book and movie, he would’ve been known more for the way he died than the way he lived. I couldn’t accept that.

LMAO!!! This is so freaking true. I remember some morons saying that Brad will fell for Cate Blanshet when they started filming TCCOBB without even realizing that they had already done another movie together before then. Babel. So if Brad wanted her or any other woman he could have been with any of them but he chose to be with Angie.

After all this Daily News “dancing” thing is just plain GOSSIP!!! Witch means it can be 1000% false. After the screening Angie really went to a restaurant along with Holly, James, Ling and Wyclef and she was seen exiting with Wyclef and Martinez where nowhere to be found. Plus the item said that Ethan Howke was also there but Ethan wasn’t even at the screening.

And even if that was the case…so???

Martinez and Angie never had anything going on between them after all. It was just Trashloids rumors at the time when Angie was romantically linked with everyone and everything. That’s why the haters are talking about it. Because they believe everything these pieces of Trash are writing about Angie.

Angie was seen having a dinner with JLM (One of her X husbands) and she also attended one of his movie premieres back in 2005. But after that she took Madd to Alberta to see and stay with Brad. And she has been with Brad for all this time. And I never heard Brad complaining about it.

#184: Thank you, Amaya. I didn’t quite catch the whole thing. She didn’t really look like Angie but they tried, didn’t they? I think there’s someone at QVC that resembles Angie more than Erika. Her name is Lisa Robertson. They usually do her hair and make up to look like Angie but I don’t know if it’s a conscious effort on their part or if it’s just a coincidence.

Is TMH going to do it like Babel open in select theaters and then every town? I hope so. I’m definately buying the DVD. [[getting a little ahead of myself] ;)
