Pitt’s Split Decision
Brad Pitt’s new gunslinger flick, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is said to have two versions floating around — one from writer-director Andrew Dominik and another from Brad, who produced and starred in the film.
No word from Warner Bros. on which version will be released yet.
Jesse James follows the last heist committed by James (Pitt), and Ford’s (Casey Affleck) devoted and then vengeful relationship with the legendary outlaw.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (new movie still above!) opens in theaters on Sept. 21.

Brad Pitt is so yesterday and so overrated. I will not waste my money on this man.
He has no taste in women from Paltrow,Aniston and worst of the lot is Jolie.

Thanks for the link. Those are some beautiful pictures of AJ. It is funny how the critics run to a post about AJ or BP and declare their disdain. However, they are the first( and often) to post. If you dislike a celeb, try ignoring them. However, they can not deny that AJ is beautiful and a powerful presence. Both BP and AJ are good people with good hearts. Karma(as the critics like to say) has been good to them with a beautiful family and successful careers.

Thanks for the article link and it was very, very interesting. I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time. No matter which version they use it will make money, especially overseas. A $30 million budget is very small for Brad’s movies which usually do well worldwide. This sounds like a film that will be appreciated at Golden Globe time, much the same way A Mighty Heart will be.
Thanks for the new thread Jared. I think the movie has received a lot of good hype for a “bad” movie.
I don’t know very much about movie marketing but it does seem that a large part of the success of a movie can depend on how the movie is marketed. If it is marketted as a serious psychological thriller, it will attract a certain older more thoughtful type of audience, but probably not the spaghetti western fans:) or the spider man crowd. As it is a small budget movie, it won’t take much to recover costs and I do believe it will do better than the Good German or the Fountain.
So, I think the AOJJ will do reasonably well given its story line, good reviews to date from 2 well film critics. Any way, consider the story about the homosexual cowboys that Ang Lee directed. Not exactly the “bang bang you’re dead” variety of cowboy movies and it did quite well in the Box Office. I think AOJJ could well do the same.

and i am going to watch this movie….angie’s movie and all their upcoming movies…. i can’t wait to see them w/ the “Action Hollywood, We Are the Hollywood Supertars” when all the cameras are flashing at Cannes and all their movie premieres…. :-P ….that’s the scene i wanna see….showing that this couple are mega mega superstars….

Billy Bush and Nancy O’Dell just loved her and supported every little thing she did. Now they hardly mention her and just praise AJ/BP. Okay you experts, whatssupp with them?

Hi jjoy, how are you? This summer will be a busy summer in the movie theatre for me, Ocean 13, A Mighty Heart, AOJJ, Spiderman 3, Pirates, Harry Potter, Rush Hour 3 etc, it is going to be a good summer at the movies.

yep….this summer….lots of good movies….all the movies you mentioned above, i am going to see all of them….man….i am going to be poor….with movie tickets, popcorn/soda and dinner…. :-(
