Barrymore Goes BANA-nas
Lucky You co-stars Drew Barrymore (in Christian Dior) and Eric Bana attend the premiere of their high stakes film at the Tribeca Film Festival on Tuesday night at NYC’s BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
The $50-million Bana-Barrymore romantic comedy hits screens opens nationwide on Friday, May 4. Unfortunately, reviews from preview audiences have been unfavorable, so Warner Bros. is scaling back on its marketing push for the poker flick.

Drew looks adorable.
He is one fine looking man. He has a warmth in his eyes. I will see this movie because he is in it. I haven’t seen him in anything but Troy, so it will be nice to watch him in a romantic comedy.
Look at those giant ears!!! And the right one is bigger or less attached to the head… And I thought Jeff Goldblum had the biggest ears in the business.
Plus, that smirk of his is just annoying.

Drew’s make-up artist needs to learn how to apply face powder. I noticed several times that the make-up on her face is whiter than her neck.
They have no chemistry together. I’ll wait for this movie on dvd.

Eric Bana looks just awesome. He’s so classy! I am excited to see this movie. I love them both and Curtis Hanson’s movies are great.
Haley, don’t say what you don’t know, darling. “No chemistry together”, “Barrymore can’t act”.. Did you see any Drew movie in 90’s? Mad Love, Boys on the Side, Doppelganger, Guncrazy…? You can’t say she doesn’t know act. I’m sorry but it’s ignorance. Just because she made a lot of romantic comedies doesn’t mean she’s a bad actress. That’s ridiculous, actually.

Hey justjared, that’s not a romantic comedy, that’s a drama. I like Drew. If you see more than her romantic comedies you would know that she’s got talent. She’s very talented. Her problem is that she made a lot of romantic comedies. Good for her she’s getting nice scripts now… She’s very beautiful too. But i don’t see nothing special about Bana.

This is obviously not a romantic COMEDY, seeing as how there is nothing to show that this movie is humorous in the trailers. So before you start bashing the actors and the film, try learning what genre it is. It’s a drama in case you’re still clueless
OMG they are adorable together!
I saw the movie last night at the premiere. I think poker lovers will enjoy it because it goes into that world and parallels with life outside of poker. Drew and Eric gave good performances and Drew was just so adorable in person. Anyway, the movie does have some comedic parts but is more of a drama.
I’m happy to read that, notorious. I met Drew last year and I can say she’s beautiful and a really nice person. For who said that she’s photogenic she’s even more beautiful in person. She’s got the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen. She’s charming, cute, sweet and beautiful. Love Drew. I don’t know about Eric but I like him in Munich. Good job
50 million dollars on a romantic comedy?! Have the studios not learned anything? Romantic comedies always bomb. The audience is clearly not going to for it anymore, and they haven’t for over 5 years.
