Pitt & Pax Touch Down in Prague

The Brangelina international caravan of love touched down in Prague last night, reports TMZ.

Brad carried 3-year-old son Pax from the private jet with Angelina right behind with their 5-year-old son Maddox and their two daughters — Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, almost 1.

Angelina is in Prague to make the action thriller Wanted co-starring Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy. In between, Brad & Ange will jet to France for the Cannes Film Festival.

i love the article part 4 @ 05/02/2007 at 2:53 pm

CL: You were also in Pakistan, where Danny was kidnapped, right before 9/11, right?

AJ: Yes, I felt I had to go to Pakistan-there were 2 million people in camps there [and the numbers were rising] because of mass exodus from the Taliban in Afghanistan. Before I went, I got a warning from the State Department that there was this person Osama Bin Laden in neighboring Afghanistan who hates Americans. But I went anyway, and I met incredible Afghan families along that border.

CL: Then after 9/11, you received death threats for speaking out in their support?

AJ: I went on a show a few days after 9/11—just as [troops] were going into Afghanistan—to say that we needed to be focused on the Afghan people, the refugee families. We were focused on the Taliban as an enemy, and these people were their victims too. And I got a phone call and two letters that said, very aggressively, how dare I say that we should help any¬one else after September 11. We should be helping everybody in New York and that’s it, f~k you, I hope your family dies, you’re anti-American. And I was shocked—so shocked that I was actually nervous the first time I went back to New York a few months later.
I found it very sad that caring for people on an international level could be mistaken for being anti-American. I think that to be conscious of the dignity of all peoples is American.

CL: Speaking of politics, I think of you both as being politically aware but also pretty nonpartisan. Is that true? Is it intentional?

MP: Personally, I believe there is a limita¬tion to how much politics can change the world—but there’s no limitation to how much individuals can change the world. I think we’re both much more interested in role models. I mean, the column 1 do with Glamour and the work I’m doing with Angie are ways of searching for role models—they’re what we’re missing most in this world. I relied on them growing up. Victor Hugo was my big hero, and Nelson Mandela.

CL: Angelina, who have your heroes been? Who’s a leader to you?

AJ: Oh, God.

MP: That’s a figure of speech, not an answer, right, Angie?

AJ: [Laughs.] My mom. She was a truly generous, warm individual who led a very private life, but walked through it with so much kindness and grace. When she passed [in January], the number of letters we got from people who were af¬fected by her—somebody who did noth¬ing but just always be kind—was such a testament to the idea that life is not about how many books you’ve written, or how many films you’ve done, but it’s the kind of feeling you have left in the world and the impression you have made on others. She would spend months trying to just work out my birthday parties. She would spend a full day trying to compose the nicest letter to thank somebody for something they did. Sometimes, when I want to take on the world, I try to remember that it’s just as important to sit down and ask my son how he’s feeling or
talk to him about life. You realize that we have all these big ideas, but if we don’t have that central warmth, it’s nothing.

CL:Now that you both have children, do you find yourselves thinking of your moms as you parent?

AJ: Oh, I do all the time. You know, this is the first Easter since my mom passed, and I never really focused on holidays—I almost made a point of not caring about that kind of thing—but you know, I remember every little Easter basket she ever made me. And this year I suddenly feel, I’ve got to do all that, and I’ve got to do it with a lot of thought and a lot of time, because my kids will remember.

MP: My mother was the most inspiring person I’ve ever met. She was a very ordinary woman, hut she was so warm. She had a lot of life force in her, and my father [who suffered from depression and committed suicide when Mariane was nine] was the opposite. When she passed away, people of all religions and all social statuses were at her funeral. It’s one reason I focus on mothers in my Glamour columns; I really do feel moth¬ers can change individuals. My brother and I are pretty OK for people whose father killed himself, and that’s because of my mom: She mined us. Life is bizarre; she was widowed at age 36, and I at age 35. But her strength freed us from living under the shadow [of my father's death]. I want to free Adam, and I know it’s possible because she freed me. And it’s why I feel such a strong con¬nection with Angie, because you know, she had her own relationship issues, and issues with her father [actor Jon Voight], and she is giving back to her kids a kind of strength and example.

AJ: My mom always made it really clear tome that I was her friend. When we were talking, I always felt that she wanted to hear what I had to say. She enjoyed me, and I feel I’m enjoying my kids. We play together, we dance—and even though they’re all from different backgrounds, they all feel like they’re part of the same family. Frankly, if anybody ever tells me that I mother like my mother did, it’ll be the greatest compliment.

MP: Same for me. It’s one thing that I’ll always be proud of: My son walks with my mom’s spirit. And his father’s spirit. At the end of the day, he’ll become a young man who’s blossoming. Terrorists tried to take that away from him—and ultimately, his life is my victory.

does it really matter who is holding Shiloh? Angelina LOVES all her kids the same - it is no big deal if she’s carrying Shiloh, Z, Pax or Maddox! They’re all in Prague, safe and sound - that’s what matters.

Gigi: Please - go to the nearest bathroom and vomit at will– AND spare us from your verbal diarrhea.

I believe Katie flirt on the set but ho doesn’t? I flirt. It’s good for your health!
She is so young!

Thanks for the new thread, Jared. I love Brad and Angelina and I love your site. There is never a dull moment in here lol.

Thanks for the article. It shows clearly that MP did not want this movie made with strangers and that the whole family - MP, Adam and Daniel’s parents only wanted Brad and Angie to make this movie.

#130: Sad, are you telling me that if you were married and some friend asks you to dance, you have to refuse because you could be committing adultery or accused of being unfaithful to your man? Boy, talk about repression and being a prude! I feel sorry for any guy who would be crazy to even look cross-eyed your way because he might find himself shackled to you via a shotgun or accused of rape if he doesn’t comply. Your name says it all. You are sad.

———————————————————————-

It depends on what type of dancing , I am doing. Lap Dancing is a no for me. I don’t know how you guys feel about it. The only man you will see me grinding or giving a lap dance, or even overtly flirting will be my husband.I was raised differently and I am old school. I was raised that a woman should conduct herself with class at all times. So I guess not- I don’t think you will find me doing the samba/lapdance/grinding against someone that is not my husband. When I have danced with other men, my husband is there. I am sorry if that seems abnormal, it could be my age.

It doesn't matter... @ 05/02/2007 at 2:56 pm

The family is together in Prague. That is what is important. They love each other. They love their children. ALL of them.

P.S. That is not Angie holding Shiloh. As the pic is enlarged that makes it more obvious as the lady has shorter hair and it looks a tad lighter than Angelina’s. This appears to be one of their assistants or a nanny. On another site, the sequence of the pics appear to have Brad de-board with Pax first. I did see a pic of Angie standing in the door of the plane with a garment bag/suitcase so she probably went soon after Brad and then everyone else began to file off the plane.

Why does it matter if Angie carried Shi off the plane? She loves her and doesn’t need to showcase that in some rush to validate those idiots at Life & Style or other critics that are non important. If she had been shot carrying Shi shortly after that crap had been published a few weeks back I would have questioned if that nonsense were true because it would appear they were trying to hard to show it false. The fact they are continuing as they always have makes me know these tabs don’t know what the hell they are talking about! They are fine.

Thank you so much Jared. These events just make the tabloid writers mad because they write lies about this family’s love. I hope there is a huge photo of Shiloh being carried by Angie. Shame on you National Enquirer, Star, Life & Touch, Us Weekly and OK tabs. WEEP!

You can tell reading this part that she still is sensitive about her mothers dead.

Pax probably adores his new Daddy. He’s a lucky little boy. I’m hoping for another biological Jolie Pitt and another adoption.

Brad I’m sure has no worries about the loyalty and faithfulness of his partner. If they even heard about the so-called dance they probably had a good laugh. Then later that night he would have demanded to be reminded “Who’s your Daddy???” :)

Please fans, we’ve had this type of conversation with sad before and it messed up the whole thread, only for her to apologize later. Please stop replying. I thought someone stole her name but apparently it is her. There was no lap dancing. Having this discussion is a waste of time and it ruins the thread.

What would Jesus say to one who thinks as you? A family evil because they love each other? Evil because they help others in need? Perverted because they have four kids?

Karma, when you express hate it becomes part of your life. Karma refers to one’s own life, not to anyone else’s. You are as ignorant as anyone can be. If more people in America were like this couple then America would be a kinder more loving and loved nation, rather than one perceived as a nation full of narrow minded haters just like you. And yes, I am also an American who is totally ashamed of people like you.

Angelina Jolie commits to world’s children

Actress appears at the launch of Global Action for Children

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Angelina Jolie spoke at a press conference in Washington D.C. on Thursday to announce the formal launch of Global Action for Children (GAC), an organization focused on increasing U.S. funding for the support of orphans in developing countries, including free primary school education.

Jolie is no stranger to humanitarian efforts, having campaigned for relief in the troubled nations of Cambodia, Darfur, Sri Lanka and many others; personally visiting the poverty-stricken locales and refugee camps. She and her partner, Brad Pitt, have used their worldwide celebrity to bring attention to those in need — along with making sizeable donations on behalf of their Jolie/Pitt Foundation.

Now Angelina has passionately joined forces with GAC, dedicating time, money and emotion to the cause. “My daughter Zahara was orphaned because of AIDS,” she told the audience in Washington, “So I don’t have to tell you how precious I think these children are.”

Children are a specific concern for Angelina and Brad; they have adopted three orphans themselves — Maddox from Cambodia, Zahara from Ethiopia and Pax from Vietnam.

“My daughter will learn about Ethiopia, and I pray that that country will stabilize, and when she’s 16 she can spend time there,” Angelina told “Access Hollywood.” “But I’m very concerned that when she’s 16, she won’t be able to go, because it’ll be too dangerous. So, I have an investment in these countries personally, because I’m concerned about the future of them on obviously a very personal level.”

And GAC Executive Director Jennifer Delaney believes that it’s that “personal concern” that makes Jolie and Pitt such powerful allies in the cause.

“Not only do (Jolie and Pitt) care about children, but they’re actually taking concrete action to help the millions of children orphaned by AIDS, TB, malaria, and war around the world,” Delaney told “Access Hollywood.” “They’re committed to ensuring that the orphan’s bill is fully funded and that all children around the world have access to go to school.”

Delaney is confident that with the help of Angelina and Brad, the White House and members of Congress will realize that Americans support the full funding of a bill to support orphans.

“By 2010 there are going to be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and war,” she said. “While there’s been lots of attention on orphans and the crisis, the funding has not matched the level of attention.”

Delaney reveals that Jolie and Pitt have donated an “incredible” $1 million to GAC, and, to her, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as far as their help and influence is concerned.

“They deeply care about — they don’t only deeply care — but they take concrete actions to actually help children,” said Delaney. “And not just one child or 10 children, but they actually want to see the millions of children who’ve been orphaned helped.”

First Birthday @ 05/02/2007 at 3:04 pm

I’m sure the JP’s will have some sort of shoot or pics released for Shi’s birthday. There is when we’ll more than likely get a great shot of her and Shiloh together. The rest of the tabbies’ heads will explode, I’m sure LOL.

Yeah you are weird and you are NOT a Brad or Angie FAN! By the way, who would want to dance with a fatso like you with an evil and hateful heart, in your dreams maybe.

Looking at the bolded part, I wonder how many of those similar letters BA received since adopting from other countries and speaking up for other countries? No wonder they need plenty of security. Isn’t it also true of how some of the public and media view the JP’s adopted kids? Like they’re not good enough compared to the biological one because they were not born in America and to some extent, not white.

She wants to be talked down from the ledge; the problem is she is on level ground like the rest of us. But if she insists on jumping, let her, but don’t let her drag anyone else with her.

What’s wrong girl? Who dumped you?

Go out there and get another man. Good luck girl!

Why doesn’t any of the serious magazines writing about the break-up?

Why thank you lets play? You are everything I aspire to be.

Not only the kids, imagine how many letters angelina gets being accused of stealing the next door girl husband.

There is a rumor in Hollywood that Angelina is pregnant…she is about 2 months. That’s the reason why she’s only filming “WANTED” in four weeks.
SO PEOPLE….DON’T BELIEVE THAT THEY’RE BREAKING UP! ACCORDING TO MY SOURCES, BRAD IS OVER THE MOON.

This is the part where we start deleting posts. We have the power to do this.

They both lost their moms as adults to cancer.
Their mothers were their best friend.
They each have only one sibling, and that sibling is a brother,
They both had less then great relationships with their fathers.
They both have been single parents of sons

Beautiful.

I can’t wait to go buy this mag for the interview. You can tell that MP and AJ have a very good friendship.
