Plan B was set up by Brad, Brad Grey, and X. X was never really active, the two Brad’s ran the company. The idea was to be able to get movies made that the two men were interested in, and to get some projects for X, but none were ever produced for her by Plan B. Brad Grey divested his interest when he took over Paramount, and X was bought out of her interest, taking with her a few projects that she has not been able to get financed. Brad did not go on ANY late night show to promote Babel and look how much it’s made so far. Of all Alejanro’s three movies, Babel has made the most staggering amounts of money.

ITAWY. The Jolie-Pitts are at the top of the Hollywood pyramid without doing anything to get there. THEY JUST ARE. Babel was made for $20-25 million, and has made $120 million plus and counting, far far more than any other of Alejanro’s movies. Brad showed up at two film festivals, and a premiere, that’s it. No Leno, no Letterman, no LKing, no tv shows to push Babel whatsoeveer. He showed up to support the cast and crew and that was it.

Now it will be interesting to see what goes on with O13 as usually that cast does a lot of publicity. I don’t think Brad is going full out like he did before. We’ll see.

Geez, this is exhausting. I’m referring to the shout-out GP gave so publicly after the New York premiere and before Brad’s L.A. premiere that he and Cate attended.

I’ve never not even tonight lauded Brad and his career during his merger with__.

I believe MMS (I haven’t seen Babel) is the most I’ve enjoyed Brad’s work since 1997/1998.

I think cook is talking about Paltry exiting the film in NYC (some special showing a premiere of sorts was held - none of the cast was there) - anyhoo, she was caught on the way out and said it was one of the best performances Brad had ever given. Even that I thought was a backhanded compliment from the b*tch - as she could have just said it was an amazing performance, and stopped right there — but she emphasized that it was the best “Brad had done.” GP is lame, and sucks.
