Jessica Biel takes is the new cover girl in the Elle Magazine June 2007 issue, out in NY/LA on May 8.
The 25-year-old bona fide actress dishes on being ‘buff’ and posing topless:
On being famous: “I can’t even go to the dry cleaner by myself anymore. You’re seen in public with anybody that you might not even know and you’re speculated about. It makes everything hard because you can’t even go to pick up a prescription without somebody trying to snap a photo of what you have in your Long Drugs bag. Thank goodness I’m a nice person.”
On still struggling to get parts she wants: “Parts that I want aren’t going to me. Like The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. I don’t want to say there’s nothing I love that I can’t have. But there’s still the occasional script that the director doesn’t want to see you for. They want that top tier of girls.”
On having “Her Moment’: “The scary thing is that if it’s ‘your moment,’ that eventually disappears. I think about reaching for ‘the moment,’ but never really achieving it. That way I’m always striving.”
On being named ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ by Esquire magazine: “I thought the Esquire cover was going to be really positive for my career. But it wasn’t, really. [One director told me] ‘I’m not looking for the sexiest woman; I’m looking for the girl next door.’”
On celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday in March 2007: Someone said, ‘You have five years till 30.’ I started to think, Wow over the next five years my life could really change personally.”
On being considered ‘buff’: “This is the thinnest and the least muscular I’ve been in a long time. I’m so lean and feminine.”
On posing topless for Gear Magazine at 17: “I was all over the place. I was being a rebellious teenager.”

dang i didn’t think she was 25 either.. i haven’t seen any of her acting work so can’t say to that end but she does have a fit body, probably not hurting the career too much haha… her behind is spectacular lol

I find it funny she doesn’t discuss Derek Jeter, when she was the one who had her people to announce their vacation getaway to In Touch Magazine. Jeter is very private person who hardly likes the paps following him to his beach getaways when he takes his dates. Her pics with him were all over the internet as if she hired or her people hired photographers to photograph them.
I guess Derek wasn’t having that and dumped her. I like how her people make sure they have her linked to the press with every hot popular celebrity as if she can pull the best of them. Surely with Timberlake having a great year with his CD and Derek Jeter being one of the best baseball players, well known and super cute. it doesn’t hurt being linked to get her name in the press and invited to a lot of parties and award shows. Prior to them I hardly heard her name unless it was a small excerpt of her exercising or walking her dogs.
she’s not that great of an actress and stripping down in movies and lucky to get parts with major male co-stars is not helping your career as a serious actress. You will never be a Sandra Bullock or a Kate Winslet
Honey knowing the paparazzi will be taking pictures of you and you purposely buy extra small size bikini bottoms that you know your ass cheeks will be hanging out of them, will not get you respected or get anyone to take your acting seriously. Your best bet would be the porn industry

Her face is very harsh, I think it’s the thin nose, and the hooded eyes. She looks kind of like a young Faye Dunaway, but Faye was prettier and had a softness to her face that this woman doesn’t have.

But a suggestion for Biel might be, if you want to be taken seriously, stop stripping in magazines and posing on your knees with your ass in the air.
ScarJo got famous FIRST for her ACTING…what she had put down on screen in the way of performances (Matchpoint, Lost in Translation) and THEN she started being hyped up the wazoo as sexy, same with Angelina (Gia, Girl Interrupted). When they were first nominated for Oscars and Golden Globes people weren’t writing about their hotness, that came later.
They were legitimized first for their ACTING. That’s the diff between those girls and women like Biel.
When an actress puts the cart before the horse and starts stripping, doing the FHM thing, the Maxim thing - having her agent hype her as a sexy big butted b*tch, and doesn’t have sh*t to show in the way of skillz - of course she isn’t going to be “top tier.” She most likely never will be.
It happens to some, like Cam Diaz, who when she first came out she was seen as hot - but it was a wholesome hotness, and again, she was in a HUGE movie first ( ‘The Mask,’ w/ Jim Carey) which legitimized her to an extent — and she also hadn’t posed ass out, and gotten all this press for being sexalicious in the cheesy men’s mags.
If she does too many more of these things, and gets known for being an FHM cover queen who used to be on TV and who may have dated Ichibod Crane, oops I mean Timberfake, her name is close to forever being CHEESE.
On her looks I read and article once where she talked about her looks and who she admired, she mention ‘Angelina’ and said something about not wanting to be known as just another ‘blonde’, she felt more like a exotic brunette (like Angelina)and asked if she’d changed anything about her looks(plastic surgery),she’d want a shapelier,fuller mouth(ANGIE).She mention she had a crush on Brad & had his posters in her room when she lived with her parents.This was way back when she did that horror flick.
she’s ok. i want to like her, but she just doesn’t have that certain charisma most successful actors have. she doesn’t have that likability factor. i think she sounds a bit conceited & her answers seemed almost rehearsed/scripted. so essentially, i don’t think it’s simply a matter of how well she looks, but a total package, which she seems to lack.
I’m a hetrosexual man and I think I can speak for many other men when I say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this woman. Beautiful posture and the best female body in hollywood period, a lovely face and a pleasant voice. I’ve seen her in various roles and though I’m not really a fan, she is not without talent. You couldn’t design a better body.

there’s nothing “wrong” with her, but there is a very important fact missing… a talented actor has to act with her/his eyes first, and then the rest of the face and the body… but when i look at this hot girl’s eyes i see nothing but blank.. unlike faye dunaway — her eyes always had that enormous energy and meaning to them, even to this day.
biel is definitely not without talent.. she can practice, observe and get better for sure, but life is short! an actress’ life is even shorter in hollywood. if she continues to spend her time and energy on the “butt” it might be a little to late.
This girl has nothing to offer. She’s not talented. Her face leaves something to be desired (she always does the idiotic pouting things Keira Knightley does). She’s dumb as all get out. Yes, she has a nice body- but so does Jessica Alba, who also has a nice face- so she wins.
She wishes she could’ve been in The Other Boleyn Girl? Mary was white as milk and a vacuous ho (so…maybe). Mary was very French in appearance, very intelligent, talented, cunning and vicious. Could Jessica Biel- of Blade: Trinity and Cellular fame- really have pulled off that role? The Illusionist was her *not* completely sucking, as per usual.
If she wants to be treated with more respect she should get off her knees, stop sticking her barely covered butt out and start doing indie movies and theater. She needs to *show* that she wants to be an actress rather than whining that no one takes her as seriously as the women who’ve worked for their status.
