Fashion Faceoff: Lanvin Minidress

Natalie Portman honors Icelandic singer/songwriter Bjork in a futuristic charmeuse-draped Lanvin Spring 2007 halter minidress.

The event was held on Thursday at NYC’s 7 World Trade Center for Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Annual Spring Benefit “The Dowtown Dinner.”

To the right, American supermodel Hilary Rhoda.

Who wears it best? NATALIE PORTMAN or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

Both look good in the dress and I love Natalie..But I REALLY love Hilary So I have to go with her,she’s just too gorgeous

natalie is one of the best actresses out there but hilary is gorgeous. there’s a reason why she’s gonna be a face for estee lauder, she’s just beautiful. i love the shoes and earrings on hilary too.

natalie wins by a long shot. love her! she’s the definition of beauty. she may not have the height but it doesn’t matter. she always looks exquisite. no contest. that other chick isn’t even in the same league.

Natalie looks absolutely stunning. This is one of the rare occasions when the film star looks better than the model, IMO.Truthfully, I’ve rarely seen Natalie not look beautiful.

Definitely Natalie! this look is hard to pull off and she does it perfectly. the model looks kinda like a transvestite in that photo.

Natalie is the best and they both look great, but I don’t think she accessorized the rather plain dress enough. I like the sleeked hair and gold hoop earrings worn with it.

Tough choice. But I’ll go with Hilary. She just looks a little more stunning than Natalie. I think it’s because of the way she accessorized.
