Brad & Angie’s Dinner in Prague — Part II

I agree with all of you that says that brad keeps angie grounded, he really is the first man she has been with that i think is strong enough to do so-and also lets not forget brad is 12yrs older than she is -i think she has no trust issues with brad - they both want the same thing in life-and as long as they grow together and not seprately they’ll be alright.

Well all i know is that angie didn’t want a biological child with any man until she met mr. pitt-the man must have some mojo for that to happen.

Well I think Angie brought a lot to Brad’s life, too. The influence wasn’t one sided, IMO. Angie’s transformation started the minute she got to see what the real world was like and adopted Maddox, and that had NOTHING to do with Brad.

I have always said they complete each other — both brings positive things to the relationship. As Angie said they made each other be better be it a person, a better bike rider, etc.

JonV is coming on MSMBC, Scarborough’s in a few minutes, blurb says he will say leave Angelina alone.

Ohh goodness, not JV again. I’ll have to tune for this one. I bet he’s only saying this to get some attention.

I agree, there had to be something really specail about Brad and their love for Angie to not only change her mind but seem to embrace the idea of creating this life with him. I would think they had long talks about their life together, how many children they wanted, how they wanted to live it and where they wanted to live it. Contrary to what some may think they appear to be two people with a plan for the future.

Brad and Angie created their family in 2005. Both have been vocal about their love and commitment for their children and they have shown how they balance their time between their family, charities and movie careers- always together and hardly apart from each other. So many are incredulous why Angie, the hottest actress in hollywood today is not making movies left and right. If it was anyone else who wants more fame and money, she will grab every opportunity she can get but not Angelina Jolie and that makes Angie more cherished in Brad’s life and their children. To even insinuate that Brad will even think of another woman is undermining Brad, the man who has forsaken almost everything to be with her in 2005 and has proven that his own pursuit of happiness has finally come true.

Freeing herself from BBT and adopting Mad were the best thing happened to Angie. To tell you the truth I think that Angie was really in love with BBT - but it was kind of young girl’ puppy love (not woman’ love) with certain rosy and rainbow perception about your partner- unreasonable and not seeing the bad side of your partner-kind. Once she found out the bad side, she woke up from the love. Now I think Angie is in love with woman’ mind - you accept good and bad.

I read what you wrote and want to say this I sort of agree with you and I sort of dont.

I think BBT was a necessary part of Angelina’s development and life. I have often thought that perhaps BBT was the father figure she never really had in JV. But BBT was of course different father figure to JV in that BBT really did love Angelina. Going by BBT’s statements about Angelina, how he felt small, how he fucked up, how he really did love Angelina, how he’s never really ever said anything bad about Angelina despite their break up, I’ve no doubt that BBT loved Angelina and loved her enough to keep loving her even after it was clear they had no future together as husband and wife and family. And getting BBT’s love was something Angelina needed to help heal herself from her own father’s neglect and lack of love.

I wonder if she could have freed herself from her father JV without first experiencing BBT’s deep love for her (and I do think BBT loved and still loves Angelina deeply).

I know many people go “BBT?? Ewwww”. But I do have some respect for the way he handled his break up with Angelina. He was honest and took his share of the responsibility for the demise of his relationship to Angelina (He did say, publicly, “it was my fault, I ******* e d up big time”). In his interviews, he leaves me with the impression that he felt lucky to be the funny ugly guy who got to take the beautiful homecoming queen to the prom even though after that one date, he didn’t get to keep dating the girl.
