Brad & Angie’s Dinner in Prague — Part II

I have read all of the posts from dragonfly, CMAR loved the poem, Cliniqua, lylian, em, piper with a low, NA NA, and Peaches. You all have made so many good points about AJ, BP and BBT and how it all lead to AJ/BP being together. Reading your posts was so enlightening, fun and just such a joy. Thank you. This is what I, we all hope for when we come to post here on jj’s. It has been a joy reading your post.

Earlier I responded to someone who wrote something about my post that wasn’t true. I responded in a way that I don’t think truly represents who I believe myself to be. I know that I don’t enjoy responding in that manner, and with a little more effort hopefully I will not do it again. But then again sh@t happens. :):):) Peace.

Yeah, great news about Brad and the O13 guys. Can’t wait for all the press and premieres of their movies to start.

I am so glad that I like watching Heroes and keep on loving how the young people like Angie. Here is Hayden Panettiere talking about Angie again. She starts around 1:26.

I look at it with mixed feelings because it is an old pic. And, whenever a mag has old pics, it’s usually accompanied by either a made-up story, or a mish-mash of past ones. JMO.

IA, and I cringe just thinking what quotes they will pull from old articles to sell the magazine. Once again a Mag is using Angie to move it off the shelves! If these editors had any kind of soul, they would give some of the profits to charities, IMO.

Again, putting AJ on a mag called SM (Single mother) is ridiculous, especially when Angelina, very pointedly in a recent interview said how lucky she is to have Brad and NOT be one. LOL!

Seriously, Brad and Angelina are the most obvious example right now of a famous TWO parent household in the public eye that works together, loves and supports each other, and are the biggest romance and superstar COUPLE in the world…yet they are inferring she’s ’single.’ WTF?! Is Vanessa Paradis, Mom to Johnny Depp’s children, on next month’s cover?! You really have to hand it to Vanessa, going it alone like that raising her children single handedly. :rollseyes:

Maybe they can have a ‘lifetime achievement’ award for Susan Sarandon being a ’single mom,’ ditto ‘Goldie Hawn.’

If you can’t for the life of you NOT think about either of those women’s partners and the fathers of their kids, Tim Robbins and Kurt Russell, when you hear the women’s names - then my point is made.

A publication wouldn’t DARE do that to THOSE women. Yet somehow Brad and Angie’s union gets disrespected? They suck.

I’m convinced, that even the women who don’t go around foaming at the mouth out of jealousy and hate, are still envious enough to deal her these back-handed compliments and disrespect the both of them.

As for BBT. From reading some of AJ’s interviews, let me tell you how I feel about them, as succinctly as I can. I actually liked Billy pre Angie (I’m not the only one, JJB had a thread called ‘Men you find strangely attractive’ I was shocked at the number of times ol’ BBT popped up. Halle Berry once said after working with him in ‘Monster,’ she totally ‘gets’ Billy’s hotness - she really did). But Billy was not for AJ, and he knew it, as did she. But here’s the thing about Billy and Angie - and what people don’t get about Angelina. Angelina’s whole life was about her close family and her absentee Dad, and the wrongs he had committed against her mother who was still desperately in love with him. What she wanted, what she hoped for in my opinion, is that same kind of desperate overwhelming HUGE love, but with someone who returned it just as strong. She wanted a Jon Voight kind of romantic love but with a BETTER MAN. I think that explains her need for all the raw intense symbolism (re blood w/ JLM and BBT). It’s her attempting to create the intense deep relationship that she WANTS, her attempt to feel intensely, in lieu of real feeling. She tried to create ‘big love’ in other words.

So writing her name in blood on Jonny’s shirt, and wearing BBT’s bit of blood on a chain, being demonstrative and all over ‘her man’ in public, in my opinion was just another ’symbolic’ way that she was stating ownership and deep love. She was trying to create what she didn’t have or feel — what she was yearning for, but in my opinion, most likely still had not found with either of them.

She’s said of JLM, ‘I wanted more from him, than I could give him.’ Yes, read that again.

It is also why after the physical connection dissipated, she found that she really had nothing in common with BBT - she probably saw shades of disconnect reminiscent of her Dad on his part (as it pertained to her son) and she was out of there, their union wasn’t what she thought it was, or was trying to MAKE of it.

You can’t create devoted love, it just is, or it isn’t. She found that out. That’s why she wasn’t devastated that her marriage was over. If anything she was more upset at herself that she had failed and/or been duped.

She said after that, “If I only get but one true love in my life, that being my son, I’ll take it.” To me, that was an acknowledgement that up until Mad, she had not had any others.

Enter Brad. She finally found a real devoted love in him. No need for blood symbolism, and demonstrativeness - no need to manufacture, when it just IS, what it IS. True love. Their committment and love is obvious without doing anything, and without saying a word. She knows it, deep down. She’s never looked more at peace and content to me.

IMO, she has finally experienced the same deep love her Mom had for her Dad, that she was probably always fascinated by and yearning for growing up — but without the pain and heartache that plagued Marcheline.

I think that is why Marcheline adored Brad as she did - she knew her daughter, and knew how happy he made/makes her, but more importantly, she knew what a GOOD man he was, and how he would be there for her and the children….and so does AJ. That had to bring Marcheline such peace. Angelina too. Angelina Jolie has exhaled y’all. LOLOL

Shiseido renewed the contract with Angie. They are happy about their business with her has been paying. You can see how she is popular in Japan.

ANGELINA JOLIE is using her newfound popularity in Asia to her advantage, by appearing in three beauty campaigns for Shiseido. According to WWD, the actress flew to Hollywood Studios two weeks ago where she was shot for the Shiseido ads by beauty photographer Camilla Akrans. Although the US and UK will never see the images - they will be shown only in Japan - Jolie will appear on billboards and in glossy magazines from September to promote the brand’s powder and liquid eyeshadows. Currently in Prague making her new film, Wanted, co-starring Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy, Jolie is said to be very happy about the new beauty campaign.
