Brad & Angie’s Dinner in Prague — Part II

Angelina, wearing a Rag and Bone Macintosh Trench, is in town to shoot the action thriller Wanted with Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy.

She is always beautiful, but these pix signal that she is well-rested. Her skin is luminous, and she looks very very young. I agree that from all of the pix in Prague she seems to have gained just a bit of weight. So she looks fantastic. Motherhood (and BraddyDaddy) seems to agree with her.
I won’t say I love his outfit (he loves those scruffy shoes!), but why shouldn’t he wear what he wants? He’s on his downtime. He is feeling comfortable enough to be himself, which I like. He’s not on the red carpet (Even if I would love for him to buff his shoes, he is free to be as ‘artistic’ and jaunty with his chapeau as he wants). He looks rested too. HMMMM.

Alot of ppl say that Angie’s overexposure in the tabloids will ruin her acting career. People just think she’s too overrated so they don’t wanna see her in anymore films. What do you guys think?? I just hope the tabloid obsession with Angie won’t ruin her career. Hopefully A Mighty Heart will get her Oscar#2.

Ångie is definitely not overrated as an actress. She’s a great actress, but like other great actresses it doesn’t necessarily guarantee her movie will be a box office success. Her best work were in films that didn’t do well at the box office, i.e., Girls Interrupted or Playing by Heart. Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren, Penelope Cruz all appeared in critically acclaimed roles that earned them numerous nominations and awards this past season, but their movies did poorly at the box office in America. Actually, it seems a bad year for all the ladies. Halle, Jessica Biel, Scarlett, Jennifer Garner, Kate Winslet, Julianne Moore, Kate Beckinsale, etc. have all bombed at the box office with their latest movies. And none of these actresses came close to the tabloid coverage of Angie. From the movie trailer you can tell A Mighty Heart is a wonderfully crafted film. Whether it does well at the box office doesn’t matter, it’s a film that Brad, Angie & Mariane can be proud of.
PT - That would be great if NY Lurker’s father-in-law uses your tab rundowns in his class. Your sidebars are classics and will have the students in stitches.
NY Lurker - I didn’t realize you were a marriage counselor. Love your observation of Brad & Angie’s dinner dates. Why is it so hard for people to understand what a commitment these two people have for each other? I guess the detractors, whether they are the general public or gossip writers, have an emptiness in their lives that makes them wish the worst for those who obviously are happy and content.
I saw the video of Angie/Brad leaving the resturant and I feel terrible that they have to live their under such a microscope. Then I felt even worse seeing the sea of people waiting for them all day just to take photos for a few seconds to make a living….we all do what we belive works…

I don’t know why some people still sticking to team A or team B stuff.
In Japan there is no team issue. Angie was the top and x was the 49th on popularity voting last year. And it was X’s climax. There is no reason of comparing them. Angie is compared with Nicole or Charlize or Renee. Never with X. As you didn’t discuss about Julia Roberts and her husband’s ex, we are indifferent in team issue. I think it exists only in US. You really need to move on.
Brad and Angie are worldwide mega stars. Even if their movie would not gain enough box office success in US, they will succeed in foreign countries. That’s why movie studios seeking after those two and why Paramaunt gave greenlight to AMH with Angie as leading role. They are not overexposed in foreign countries unlike US and people want to see their favorite HW actors on big screen.
I think we should focus on their family, charity and career rather than old team issue.

Jennifer slept with Brad on their first date, but Brad was not forced to have sex with her; it takes 2 to tango. Then they went out for 2 year and were married for 4,5 years. Brad went out with her, Brad married her. Not you!

Everybody is happy at the end. So, Jennifer can use the name of Brad whenever she wants. This is her compromize with Brad.
