i think the model was pissed because she was forced to wear that dress. but it looks good on zhang ziyi, though.

Zhang Ziyi is so not pretty and is so over-rated. To us Asians, she’s such a norm face. Never liked her pretentious self. The model is of course better.
Zhang looks beautiful in that dress!
I like it better on the model. She is just a tiny bit longer and thinner which makes the dress less ugly ;)

u r such a trash! you know what, you can never make it as much as Zhang does, all you can do with your green eyes is just sitting before your computer and keep complaining all the time. you are just so mean! LOL
of course, Zhang looks better, no one else can be so sweet as her.
Ziyi. She looks like she’s wearing a dress. The model looks like she’s being attacked by a blob. Ziyi also has more of a waist and her darker coloring works better.
Can’t choose because I simply don’t get this dress.

oo, calm down! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions (including Lil), and celebrities are in the spotlight therefore it’s only natural that we get to adore and/or criticize them. That’s life so get on with it. If she doesn’t like Zhang Ziyi, she’s allowed to. Just like I’m allowed to dislike Sienna Miller and Lindsay Lohan immensely, and it’s not because I’m jealous or anything - it’s just because they do and say things that really annoy me.

Liking or not liking Zhang Ziyi had nothing to do with whether she looks better in the dress. But the comments about her personally, either way, DO show how those of little mind cannot keep their objectivity and let prejudice guide them.
I like the dress better on Zhang Ziyi. It seems to fit her body better.
Zhang Ziyi wears it better, both due to the black shoes and smile! The model’s shoe color is like 2-day-old puke :lol: and why DOES she look snippy anyway?
ITA #16!!! Besides, Lil presumes to speak for ‘Asians’, I find that actually kinda pretentious. If she doesn’t like Zhang Ziyi, then fine, but please, no need to validate herself by claiming to speak for ‘other Asians’. It would be easy to find other Asians who do like Zhang Ziyi, just like it would be easy to find those who ‘hate’ her, even though it’s based probaly on preconceptions anyway. At least the ones who ‘like’ her are most likely doing so because of her work, i.e. her movies. :)

10/00… everyone is entitled to his/her opinions… Zhang Ziyi is not pretty… average is the best… in fact, i find most chinese movie actors/actresses to be average looking… i don’t like their features in general… so does this make me a racist or a b’tch? Beauty is beholden…
It’s an ugly dress… it looked a tad better on the model, drapped better on a taller & thinner frame…

Ziyi. I think her smile is the winner. And I prefer her hairstyle too. :)
Zang is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.
She looks gotgeous here.So does the model…model’s dress looks smaller and cuter.
But Zang is terrific.
