Brad Pitt @ American Embassy
Brad Pitt makes another trip to the American Embassy on Wednesday in Prague, Czech Republic. This was the second time today the Hollywood hunk made his way to the embassy. Video available here.
Brad, 43, and partner Angelina Jolie, 31, have moved their family to Prague for the filming of her latest action thriller Wanted co-starring Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy.
The A-list couple is reportedly protecting their kids from the movie’s violence. A set source told The Sun, “Angelina is protecting them from seeing her making violence look good. It’s caused a few chuckles. Most of her successful roles have had her waving weapons and getting violent. Staff have been told the kids can’t even see props. And toy guns are a complete no-no.”

After the haters read the interview last night, they had a nightmare, you (haters) need go back to sleep.
I LOVE THIS INTERVIEW
I have been lurking for quite sometime and would post once in a while. It looks like someone had picked up my name. Anyway she is also a fan, so I am glad.
I love Angie and I can relate to all what she has done and what she is doing now. I too have a very loving husband and wonderful children. I admire her for overcoming the trials and errors that we all go through in life. She has turned her life around for the better. She is stronger because she went through all these tribulations.
Angie- At the end of the rainbow your pot of gold is BRAD and the children.
Okay, let’s talk about the interview.
I love the whole interview but love these most
1. the part of her legacy to children: even when the time there was only two of them (Mad and Angie), she talked about what she expects when she die. She wished her son to continue to do things she had done. So she had Madox-project. Now they plan to have Z- project in Ethiopia soon.
2. MP holding Angie’ hand and talk about when MP was 6- month pregnant: Angie said she needed her children and Brad with her while she was pregnant.
3. about each child special time: loved it so much. I can just imagine the bed time with boys on Sunday.
4. about Brad: He is a good and lovely man.
5. about her mother: Good to know her mother was happy to see her children found right partners. I guess her mother met James’ girl friend.
Good morning All,
Once again, thanks ladies for the welcome back messages. I missed you all. Dragonfly, I’m not going anywhere….I mean sure the idiotic rantings of the Fanistons can get tiresome but that’s no reason to leave, that’s like handing JJ to them on a silver platter. Nah, I’m not ready for that.
So let me get this straight, the new song for the day is….AJ does not love BP and She called her daughter a “Treat”. Well I never! Who woulda thunk being called a treat is a bad thing? Why Just the other day, my best friend was telling me I was a treat to be around….which is odd considering we’re always arguing? Hey you think he was being sacarstic?
Oh by the way, Black….sweetie I believe the word is THREAT…..yeah, yeah I know it’s a little confusing for a puny brain like yours but if you expect us to believe that you have real people agreeing with you, you’re gonna have to stop using the same mispelled word under multiple names, mkay.
God, It’s good to be back. I see nothing has changed….well except of course the Fanistons and “Not a Fanistons” getting stupider by each passing day but that can’t be helped, right?
I THINK ANGIE LOVES SHILOH TO MUCH. I DONT THINK SHE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT THE GIRL. I SURE ,ANGIE LOVES SHILOH MORE THAN EVERYBODY .
for der next bio?right after wanted!trust me with this one!then another one from africa!hopefully der next bio is a twin!AND DONT ASK ME HOW WOULD I KNOW.b/coz the link is in my azz!
They are living their lives taking care of all their children. Critics should let it go or they can surrender for therapy.
Brad Pitt misses y’all

It has been less than a year since he bought a house in the French Quarter, but Brad Pitt already knows what it means to miss New Orleans.
Since leaving town to join Angelina Jolie on the Czechoslovakia set of her new movie, “Wanted,” Pitt said that he has regrettably slid, once again, under the celebrity magnifying glass.
“Let me tell you, we’re in this house in Prague right now and there’s about 12 cars of paparazzi outside and some tourists with video cameras,” Pitt said Wednesday in a phone interview. “I can’t describe why we’re allowed to live a more normal life (in New Orleans).”
The thing he misses the most, he said, is bicycling through the streets of New Orleans at night.
“Living in the French Quarter is a thrill for us,” he said. “We have some semblance of real family life. People have been very, very gracious with us. If we’re on the front deck, people go by and say, ‘Hi.’ Then they go on their way, very friendly.”
The main purpose of Pitt’s call wasn’t to tell us he missed us, but to discuss a milestone in the progress of Global Green USA’s ecologically friendly low-income residential development in the Lower 9th Ward.
Pitt spent $100,000 last summer to fund a design competition for an energy-efficient cluster of five houses, 18 apartments and a community center slated to be built in the Holy Cross neighborhood near the Mississippi River levee. On the first anniversary of Katrina, architects Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman of New York City were chosen to plan the development.
Today, in a 10 a.m. ceremony near the corner of Avery and North Peters streets, Global Green, a nonprofit environmental organization, will announce that the Home Depot Foundation has become a major contributor to the project, valued at between $7 million and $9 million.
The ceremonial announcement will include the making of a human mural by Los Angeles artist John Quigley, using 1,500 students from New Orleans schools as living mosaic tiles.
Pitt, who visited New Orleans in the early 1990s during the filming of “Interview With a Vampire” and took up semi-permanent residence early this year while filming “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” said that he’s impressed with the city’s never-say-die post-Katrina spirit, especially in the hardest hit areas.
“For me, first as a tourist, it’s the most unique city that we have in the States,” he said. “It has an energy like no other place. You guys shouldn’t change a thing. I’ve got to get me some of it. I absolutely love it there. We moved our family there. We’ve got a place there and we’re intermittently going back and forth. We’re in Prague now because of work. We’ll be back there soon.”
Like most New Orleans residents, Pitt seems bewildered by the pace of recovery and paucity of distributed aid.
“I’m concerned for the people who want to get back, especially in the lower-income areas, because it seems that the money they will receive, whenever they finally receive it, is not near what it would cost to replace what they had,” he said. “How is it possible? How is it feasible for them to put their families back together and put their communities back together, if that’s their wish? It’s a real concern.”
Global Green USA’s Holy Cross project has experienced its own delays, but Global Green Director Matt Peterson hopes the public will see progress by late summer.
“We’re not at a place where we can unveil the design on the whole,” he said, citing parking issues that have yet to be worked out with the City Planning Commission. “Our commitment is to have one single-family home up by the second anniversary of Katrina.”
Pitt, an architectural enthusiast, believes that model developments such as the modernistic, 1¼-acre 9th Ward project, may lead the way to general redevelopment.
“You know, this is one little patch of dirt in New Orleans,” he said. “It’s our hope to expand on the ideas put forth in this building project and help get people in homes, help people get to that moment when they can put the key in that lock and walk in their home and know that their family members are doing the same down the street and their kids are going to go to school and their communities are back together.”
Although he hopes to encourage eco-friendly rebuilding here and elsewhere, Pitt said he understands that global environmental concerns are not foremost on the minds of locals dealing with post-K problems.
“I think more than anything, people need help getting in homes,” he said. “It seems to me if you have to rebuild, you can turn it into an opportunity and create something better for the people who have to inhabit (rebuilt homes), because that technology is out there. If you can cut the (energy) bills in half, isn’t that worth going for? If you can make healthier homes, homes that are not making people as sick? I’m referring to cancer rates going up, asthma rates going up. If you can make a home that is better for the environment, and better for the future people who live there, isn’t that worth going for? Isn’t it better to take this catastrophe and actually replenish something that’s better for the people living there? Isn’t that worth going for?
“You guys are a bunch of individuals like no other city, why not be the leaders in this, too?”
That uniqueness proved valuable during the filming of “Benjamin Button,” which Pitt described as “a love letter to New Orleans.”
He predicts it will be released in the latter half of 2008.
“It’ll be worth the wait,” Pitt said. “I think it’s got real merit as a film. It’s a beautiful film — and I am not one to sell a film. I’m not a salesman in any way. I am the most disgruntled viewer in cinematic history. But what I’ve seen is really special.
“The people in the background were so good and so real. It added this life to an otherwise rather dreary scene. It was far superior to anything we’ve experienced before.”

It is 10 PM in Korea and I can not go to bed yet: loved the interview too much.
I think they will adopt from Africa next, and then Bio.
This way every child has someone to bond with.
Whoa Brad ……who the hell told you to wear that thing?
Ok, even I have to admit that this is not one of his best outfits.
Sure, 34 year old Brad could have pulled it off……but not this Brad. He simply has lost the look for it.
I still remember the time, where he was able to dress like a garbageman, and still look good.
But sadly he has lost that ability.
Sorry Brad, try to dress more like your age.

to nana:
it seems you are 1 hour ahead of us here in the Philippines. Since it’s still early for bed, help us vote for brad….his lead is just slim.
Yay fellow fans….Been out a while but lurking nonetheless….I will definitely buy the Readers Digest…Hi Ate Cha…kumusta na?! Me? Busy as usual…but I am giving time lurking & seeing news about our favorite family….
And yes…Cannes red carpet bonanza will be here soon…Looking forward to it.
Welcome back African Girl…You’ve been missed a lot.
Thanks Jared…Once again you proved to be the best when it comes to the Jolie-Pitts.
Be back later…ciao!
Thanks JJ for this new thread. Love Brad & Angie & supports them all the way.
RD: Is that true with you and Brad? It didn’t seem he had the passion to do the humanitarian work before you.
Jolie: I discovered a man who’s extremely thoughtful, intelligent and invested in many issues. He’s just more quiet in his way. I think that’s the reason I love him. If I’m curious about something, I put my boots on and I’ll go tomorrow. I’ve been too outspoken. He’s the person who methodically figures out what he believes in and how he’s going to handle something, then does it seamlessly.

I love this, her answers were so great in this interview. They seem to really understand each other and the respect just seems wonderful.

I guess Suzanne Surandon and Goldie Hawn better inform their partners for over 15 years that they don’t expect their relationship to last another 15 years. LMAO
To filipino fan,
Tutulong ako ngayong gabi. para makarami, kailangan maging efficient. marunong ka bang paabilisin ang pagboto?

I agree 100% with the post below. I don’t need a special analyist to tell me that Jolie is a narcissist media seeker - her last trip to Chad she freakin’ POSED with the wind blown look standing near the children of Chad - so obviously all about her and her insatable appetite of “Look at me!!” “Look at me!” Jolie is disgusting - but I suppose that even that may bring some awareness to the issues but does it really? Also the way she pimps out her kids is deplorable -then when it doesn’t suit her, she turns into one of her faces of Eve (or is it Jolie’s addiction??) and complains about the paps..!!! Jolie is a true hypocrite and a complete FRAUD. And there’s no way Jolie would break up with Brad - he’s catapulted her into the spotlight she so desparately craves, before she had too tell her stories of blood letting during sex, the cutting, the heroin, the sex in the limo with BBT to get attention - now because of Brad, she’s still a freak show but just a different version of one. Jolie will never let Brad go - he’s her ticket to the constant spotlight….

When I was studying in England last year, on Channel 4 or 5, they had this tv show were they were analysing the speech patterns and body language of public figures like politicians and actors.
They had a special segment about Jolie’s body language and especially her speech patterns. The experts were a psychologist and some specialist on public speaking and analysist (I had seen him before talking about politicians, Blair, etc and he is also advisor to many of these politicians).
What impressed me was that they showed 2 or 3 examples of her fronting “humanitarian” causes and what they did was to count the times she used “I” in those public speeches/interviews to make their argument that it was more about her than about the causes. They compared how many times normally a person will use “I” while speaking and let me tell you this:
I dont remember the exact number they counted but I WAS SHOCKED because it was astronomical. They were explaining that Jolie was projecting “LOOK WHAT I DO”, “LOOK HOW I DO IT” instead of really speaking about the cause!! Even though I disliked her and never bought her “humanitarian” act I WAS SO SHOCKED! They were really negative regarding her “humanitarian” efforts.
Her new interview is A VERIFICATION OF THAT SHOW.
Instead of speaking about her partner, how good of a father he is, or what she thinks of him, or how they do things together SHE SPEAKS ABOUT HOW HE SEES HER!!!!!! She becomes Brad’s publicist to tell us how Brad sees how wonderful JOLIE IS!
WOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL HUMBLE.
I AM SURE THE EXPERTS WILL CALL IT NARCISSISM OR SOCIOPATHY.
Loonies dont bother asking for links. Do your own research _.
I saw the show on tv and probably somebody from the UK can verify that. They repeated that show several times.
Or even better take her interviews and analyse them!
And have this in mind:
Media organisations and people working in those organisations outside the US, have a much different attitude towards Jolie than in the US! Not only Jolie but other actors as well.
They are not so depended on them, so they are more flexible to say things!
In my country, a very prominent film critic always says how he hates the interviews with her because she is very cold and arrogant. He doesnt have a problem to say that and go back and interview her again in her next film, because Jolie will never read his statements.

On the contrary, she (Angie) seldom uses “I”.
Therefore, all your post is a waste of space, because it is based on the wrong premise.
Try again next time LIAR!
