Angelina Jolie goes face-to-face with Reader’s Digest in their June 2007 issue, opening up about her sexy partner, four adorable kids, and a family going global. Here are a few of the highlights:
Is it true that you adopted Pax so Maddox would have a brother who looked like him? Something changed for me with Shiloh. We had Mad and Z, and neither looked like Mommy or Daddy. Then suddenly somebody in the house looked like Mommy and Daddy. It became clear to us that it might be important to have somebody around who is similar to the other children so they have a connection. Mad’s been very excited that his brother is from Asia.
Is adopting a toddler different? Pax is almost three and a half and has never made a real decision for himself because everybody does everything in a group in the orphanage. There were all these things he’d never had. The first time I gave him a bath, he was suddenly laughing, out of his mind. He took five baths in one day. We’d be talking and he’d take his clothes off and run into the bathroom.
Do you and Brad ever have a conflict or a fight? Not really. We’ll get into issues about global events or something that was just on the news.
The gossip is unrelenting. You’re fighting, you’re jealous, he’s going back to Jennifer. Does it get to you? Our first question is what paper is it in. The New York Times? If not, do we really need to worry?
Do you want more children? Yeah, yeah. More biological, more adopted.

But still…….the reason she adopted Pax is unsettling me.
#141: angie, do you know that what you say and think reflects the kind of person you really are? why can’t you get that picture out of your mind? nobody has seen a tongue but you. I’ve seen Michael Douglas kiss his father on the lips. If you’d seen it, would you be seeing some tongue there too or is it just Angie’s you will see forever in your mind? You are obsessed to the point of insanity.
And what does pork rind eating mean to you? People who eat it are what? You probably put more c r a p in your mouth than anybody here. Stop projecting yourself on others. With your kind of thinking, you belong in a pig sty… excuse me, but don’t consider me in that category.

Great interview. Thanks for posting. Best wishes to BAMPZS. I am glad the ground breaking and first building will begin in New Orleans. It is exciting and postitive news. It is also a beautiful thing about the Jolie-Pitts foundation contribution to helping the crisis in the Sudan.
Wonderful interview the more I read about Angelina and Brad the more I admire them. They have the courage to put into action what most people only think about. I hope God will continue to bless them and their family.

So you see, we will flock to see their movies, buy publications that write good stuff about them and gladly use the products that they endorse. We will make sure that they stay in demand with the film producers and that companies make money out of them so they will stay on top for as long as they want to. How about that?
You’ll never win. You will be subjected to more of the same with time because they will be expanding their family and will always be on the front covers of magazines or on tv.

I just reread this wonderful interview. One of my favorite quotes was this:
I think Pax, after seeing how much Zahara and Mad and Shi love Brad, understands that he’s his daddy. Everybody seems to be safe in his arms. He makes everybody laugh. He helps everybody.

‘SHILOH WASN’T PLANNED’ REVEALS ANGELINASEND TO A FRIEND10 JANUARY 2007
Angelina Jolie has revealed that, despite her love of motherhood, she did not intend to conceive a child with Brad Pitt. “I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant,” she said, before joking: “I’m the one that got knocked up.”
Speaking in an interview with UK Elle magazine, the mum-of-three explained that at the time her new beau was more intent on having a child than she was. “Some men have kids when they’re not ready and some men know they want to take it seriously and wait until they’re absolutely ready,” she said. “You could say Brad changed me.”
The 31-year-old went on to say she loved her two adopted youngsters Maddox and Zahara just as much as her new baby. Angelina confessed that the difficult start her first two children had in life made her feel a special sympathy for them.”I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much,” she said. “Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”

What I don’t understand is why in an earlier interview, Angie said that Shiloh wasn’t planned. But now she says that Shiloh WAS.
Does it really matter whether she (Shiloh) was planned or not? The fact is that Angie was willing to give a biological birth a try. (Brad must have worn her down.) Anyway, Shiloh is here, will be 1 year old soon. All of her beautiful children are all together. She is happy, Brad is happy the kids are happy…life is good.

It was just a matter of time until someone would have come up with the planned vs. knocked up thing.
Yesterday when I first saw the interview I saw already where the haters might try to “attack”. This was one of them so with your permission I would like to explain.
Is very simple and I hope the issue will not come up again. Pay attention:
Angelina was got knocked up while she was planning to have Shiloh.
Translation: I am planning to get pregnant in two months. Oops! I got knocked up.
Hopes this clarify this issue.

What a wonderful interview. Regarding the “planning of Shiloh” the haters are foaming their mouth saying Jolie “lied” since she said she was not “planning on having a biological child”. They are trying their desperate best to argue a lost fight.
Jolie did say she was not planning on having a biological child. After she got together with Brad, she CHANGED HER MIND, and then PLANNED on having Shiloh with Brad. Although this is a very easy fact to understand, try to get through the thick, resentful, jealous head of the haters LOL :)

besane said my exact thoughts…its not that hard to understand people…She said in the old and new interview that she didnt plan on having a biological child. So she didn’t plan on having shiloh. After meeting brad it was a different story.
