It’s true that Jolie is a hypocrite and compulsive liar ( which are complete textbook markers of addicts BTW) It’s almost like the more she talks, the more she debunks and negates everything she’s said previously. I mean, yeah people make mistakes and yada yada but the *things* she outright lies about are also things she’s so indignant and righteous about, the most glaring example being her stating, “I’d never be with a married man, I couldn’t look at myself blah blah..” When of course there’s Aniston, Dern and Kylie Moinogue who kill themsleves laffing at the statement. Jolie is a joke.

Also, I distinctly recall Jolie stating in another interview with Ann Curry when she was in Namibia that Shiloh wasn’t planned - now she’s saying she was planned (???)

Someone find that interview. Doesn’t matter, Jolie always talks out both sides of her mouth, it’s gotta be hard to keep track -

I would do what I felt was right in the moment. What i wouldn’t do is ever use my moms death as an excuse for bad behavour.

I can’t understand why she would even admit to bing in a bad mood. Did she appear in a bad mood to anyone else at the GG? i thought she looked like she was trying to stand back so Brad could have the light. But, obviously she was upset by something, being called on it and admitting it was her moms condition that caused her to behave poorly.

If I did make the choice to go, surely I would try to make it as pleasant as I could for my mate. It was her choice to go, wasn’t it?

Why did she go then? I am sure everyone would of understood if she wanted to stay by her dying mothers side. Especially Brad.

Don’t have a hissy fit, it is only my opinion. i thought the article was exactly what people want to know about, I just didn’t agree with her using her moms death as an excuse. It is better used as an excuse for her to say, I didn’t go to the awards because if her illness.

She does speak of her mother and the manner of which she raised her and I thought hat was nice but the other just left a bad taste in my mouth. JMO

You know tiger you leave a bad taste in my mouth, you’re a passive aggressive if I ever saw one. There are no absolutes with cancer. At best, if it’s a termnal illness and IF the patient has kept the family apprised of just how much time they have been told they have, then they’ll know that. Given that Marcheline battled cancer for 7 and half years, I’m sure she had gotten to a point where she didn’t give weekly or monthly news updates to the kids about the progression of her disease. She told them she was fine, and as Angelina said on Larry King, she was in good spirits, most likely in large part due to her kids and grandkids living their lives.

When Angelina said what she said in response to interviewer’s ‘well, the NY times said you were in a bad mood.’ or whatever - her point was that not even they can fact check and get their story straight. In other words it would have taken less than half a minute for a LEGIT publication to have talked to sources and leads and learned that AJ’s mom was not doing well…tabloids dig around and create fanfiction about ridiculousness all the time, I would think a legit publication BEFORE publishing a smear would try and find out if perhaps there was anything behind the supposed moodiness. Everyone already KNOWS her mother is ill. It’s really no great leap to assume that might be her concern. There had already been a photo of her published exiting her Mom’s garage and crying, talking on the phone - the outfit even captioned that Angelina was upset after having visited her Mom because of her illness, and yet E! & Peecrust, US Mag and Caryn James at the NYT (regurgitating the US msear VERBATIM) pile on about her snootiness???!! Doesn’t THAT strike you as odd.

In answering the Reader’s Digest question, she was not about to get into whatever someone’s perception of her behavior was at the GGs, she’s just telling you straight up what her reality was — she was very concerned about her Mom.

She knows now, in hindsight that she was “about to die,” (which is why she said it) but she didn’t necessarily know it for sure then, she probably just knew her mom looked like she was nearing the end, and maybe not rebounding like she had in the past.

Those who are ill many times want to remain happy and in good spirits around those they love, and I have no question this is what Marcheline did — but the LAST thing a family member wants to do is tell the ill person who HAS NOT GIVEN UP, that ‘Oooooh, you look like you’re going to die, so I’m going to just hover over you until you do.’

So quit being a dumb cruel jealous b*tch Tiger, and more importantly quit trying to pretend THAT is not what you are.

Oh that is rich and I am not the one spilling all the secrets I have with my mate in a public magazine. So now it is off bounds to talk about these clebrity interviews? Or it is only ok when we agree with everything they say? If you didn’t or she didn’t want public opinion about it, maybe she shouldn’t have given the interview. I just checked out the old anne curry interview from when Angelina was pregnant. She didn’t say anything about shiloh being an accident. . . She said she made different CHOICES and now she’s pregnant. sounds planned to me.
