Those kids have it all…loving parents, money (they each just inherited a 100 thou), nannies, jetsetting at that age, friends all over the world, the best care and privelege at places you can only imagine. Admit it, that is what really sticks in your gut. If you’d only had half of that upbringing, then you wouldn’t be such a miserable jealous nobody today.

Yes, in the olden days “knocked up” meant an unintentional pregnancy for an unmarried woman. I didn’t realize the meaning had changed! It usually resulted in a shotgun wedding (another ancient term) :-)

Thanks to those who cleared that up. That’s why I asked about it, because it didn’t quite make sense.

There are so many unsubstantiated rumors and quotes that get published these days…this Readers Digest interview is great because you know it’s accurate.

In the Readers’ Digest interview, Angie says she chose to have Shiloh and deliberately tried to get pregnant.

Does anybody else remember her being quoted saying “I got knocked up,” “it just happened,” and Shiloh wasn’t planned?

I remember reading this, can’t remember where but I think it was a legit source, maybe it was a fashion magazine interview?

I’m a Fan, but I remember it too. I do not thing Angie said that directly, she was misquoted as usual.

Hi all, don’t get caught up in the haters losing their minds today (hahahahaha! Lovin’ it!) - remember THEY, along with everyone in the world…are pouring over AJ’s interview today with a fine tooth comb, except their looking for anything to start sh*t over.

As for the “knocked up” comment, Angie said those words - but as we all know, today, that’s just a way of saying you GOT pregnant. She was clearly joking around, and she wasn’t even talking about the circumstances of her pregnancy (the how’s and why’s) the CONTEXT of the conversation was ‘WHO changed WHO in the relationship; everyone is/was always saying she CHANGED and had so much influence over Brad (re charitable work, philanthropy, etc.) Angelina was joking around saying she was the one who had always said she would adopt and didn’t need to have a child by birth - and she jokingly said, ‘Hey, I’m the one who got knocked up!’ MEANING that BRAD HAD CHANGED HER, and MADE HER WANT TO HAVE A BABY.

Hence, they PLANNED to have Shiloh.

So it’s funny that the haters are bringing THAT comment up, because it only SUPPORTS the FACT that SHILOH was PLANNED. As the others will be as well.

That’s the funny thing about Angelina, she very often is saying something in a humorous way, and yet I find people, particcularly the haters, taking every scintilla of what she says, so gd seriously - and just dissecting the most light-hearted, jesting comments she makes as everything out of her mouth was some ancient profound code they have to decipher to know the TRUE meaning….it’s ridiculous and pathetic.

Cliniqua: remember she is the mother of the ” Chosen One”, so her words are like Moses words to the Pharoah of Egypt…..hahahahaha…

Of course, Princess Zahara would rather stay home with daddy.

And I laughed at the part where Angie talks about Zee having Brad wrapped around her little finger. It was the same with my dad and my mom was the one to me and my other sisters in check. Also my dad was tougher on the boys while my mom was softer with them.

Brad, Mad, and Pax are going to have their hands full when Zee and Shi gets older and the boys comes knocking at the door. Oh, Brad did you have a clue what you were getting into when you said ‘you wanted girls’. LOL

Why some would begrudge a child/children love, security, and happiness is just beyond me. As I have said before, I give props to anyone that adopts a children because it tell me they have big hearts with a lot of love to give!

My girl friend and I have always maintained that Shiloh was planned. We said as soon as his divorce was final, was it in August or September help me with the dates, they threw the pills away and went at it like bunnies. They waited which should make those who say she got pregnant while he was still married really unhappy. Not only was Shiloh wanted, they showed respect and restraint to x who showed no respect to them. They are a couple who care for others feelings, even if that caring is not deserved.

Listened to her interview. Angie is very thoughtful when speaking. She conveys a depth and warmth that is not usually seen or heard in HW. These are good people trying to be better. Let’s not even dignify the haters on this thread. There is just too much goodness going on here. Can Readers Digest be purchased at the newstand? I have never seen one, but then I wasn’t looking either
