Hi Just Jared! This is off subbject, but do you have any ideas if Anderson Cooper is gay or not? I did some research, but don’t know 100% if he’s gay or not.
Can you please post pictures of him, if you have any. He is sooooo hottt and soooo charming.
How sweet. I’ve always said that if I decide to adopt, I’d really like it to be a young baby like that. Congrats Sheryl!

Tell me about it!! God knows what they would have said about Angie. But when it’s anyone else, it makes it okay. *rolls eyes*
Good for her !!!!!! God bless her and her new family!!
Clinqy–get some help for that other thing you do too. You know the one I mean. Spending your sad little days & nights posting anti-J statements all over the net under different handles. Angie really isn’t your imaginary friend.

This nasty comment has that freak Cliniqua written all over it. Glad to see JJ deleted her ugly comment, unfortunately one of her groupies decided to copy and paste but at least it gives other viewers a look at how disgusting she and her cult members are. Cliniqua is so ghetto, look at her language. yuck.
Sorry 32, not me.
You’ll know it’s me by the only screenname I use. C L I N I Q U A.
I think it’s swell that Crowe has a baby, but hearing so much about adoption these days when it comes to stars like Angie, Ewan MacGregor, Madonna, Meg Ryan, etc. - I think it’s important to point out that there are diff ways to adopt. Crow should talk about that.
It appears as though Crow wanted a newborn, so she hired someone to have it FOR HER.
That’s wonderful, but it’s also no diff than if she had had a baby herself. She’s bringing a child INTO the world.
It’s not exactly helping a child that doesn’t have parents - and it’s vastly different than a family wanting to give a child that’s already here, a home.
A lot of people want a newborn though - just like they want kids that look like them - perhaps Crow has both who knows. No shame in it. But I wouldn’t cover it up either.
I am not the type to get all ugly on Crow, I’ll reserve that for her uppity friend Maniston, who said not too long ago, she’d “never adopt, it’s not for her.” I wonder if that makes Sheryl feel bad? I hear Maniston’s PR person recently tried to clean that little statement up, and said, ’she’s not ruling it out,’ I suspect because she found out her pal Sheryl was adopting, and didn’t want to sound like a totally cocky b*tch.
Congrats to her. Made the announcement on her website huh? You know many celebrities are doing this now to get the accurate information out there to the public. They bypass the press so that the press can’t twist things. I think all celebrities should do this.

Where do you even get sh*t like this, your own imagination? “It appears” as though you don’t have a clue what you are talking about. Just because Crow adopted a newborn does not mean she hired someone to have it for her. People give up their children for adoption all the time, unfortunately, and newborns are usually adopted right away. You are assuming Crow hired someone, why? Because she didn’t adopt a four year old, she chose to go about her adoption a different way and raise an unwanted child from birth? As you pointed out there are many ways to adopt. And just because she is keeping her personal life private, again unlike some other media seeking stars who adopt (madonna coming to mind), doesn’t mean she is covering up anything. She just knows how to be discreet and keep her child out of the limelight. It is remarkable how you don’t want anyone to assume anything about Angie, especially if makes her look bad, but you constantly do the same to other celebs.
Maybe it was a teenage pregnancy, I think that was the case for Sheron Stone… I am not sure. Either way be nice he is a little baby. Hopefully he will also have a father as he grows up, that would be nice.
Who are these people? Have adoption agencies thrown all caution to the wind and if you are a celebrity you get the pick of the litter? People wait on lists for years to get a child to adopt. I wonder how much longer the hip trend of adopting someone your nanny can take care of will last?
I´m sure that nobody would care if she adopted three kids, like somebody else we know…
I’d love to know how someone her age and having had breast cancer is even considered suitable to adopt a newborn baby. Anybody else without celebrity status or her money wouldn’t be given a baby to adopt. She didn’t even wait 5 years to see if her breast cancer stays in remission. Just unbelievable.
I just remembered she had breast cancer. And that was pretty recently too.
Crow was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in late February 2006. Her doctors have stated that “prognosis for a full recovery is excellent.
From WIKIPEDIA
Congrats to Sheryl on adopting a little boy and I wish them both health and happiness in the years to come.
All the above comments and criticisms about the various methods of adopting children are really tasteless and none of anyone’s business. Sheryl Crow wanted to be a mother and was able to adopt a very young child. Presumably it was far easier for her than for the ordinary person/couple wishing to adopt but you can say the same about all the celebrity adoptions we have read about in recent years. All of these celebrities get special treatment and that includes those adopting abroad. Do you know how long it takes to adopt from abroad if you are not a celebrity or very rich? A LONG LONG time.
Good luck to Sheryl and little Wyatt.
Congratulations to Sheryl on the adoption of little Wyatt. I wish them both health and happiness always.
I find the comments and discussion on the “how” she adopted (vis-a-vis the baby’s age etc) rather tasteless. Sheryl is a celebrity and presumably it is always easier to sidetrack things when you are famous/rich. This covers all the celebrity adoptions we read about in the press and particularly those from abroad. Do you know how long couples have to wait to adopt from abroad if they are not “celebrities” - a LONG LONG time. Celebrities can sidetrack all the endless red tape and also employ teams of lawyers which ordinary families generally cannot afford. Also, not everyone adopts a child in order to save the world - some people just want to adopt a child fullstop.
Good luck to them.
You know comments always get posted, you just might need to refresh a few times to see it.
CLINIQUA: with regards to Jen : you are going to get your fat hairstylist ass kicked soon enough.
People have a right to question how she got such a young baby so soon; however, we have no idea how long Sheryl researched adoption or how long she was on an adoption waiting list. Her wealth may have been an advantage, but it’s highly doubtful that this decision was made and obliged on a whim.
Sheryl Crow had cancer, and maybe that was taken into consideration, but some are implying that illness should preclude people from the chance of adoption. Contagious diseases, sure, but early stage cancer? Does that mean that any person who was ill shouldn’t have access to children? If so, Lance Armstrong should have had his rights terminated. And what about Melissa Etheridge? She had two children with Judy Cypher and just recently, she had two more with Tammy. Should those children have their exposure to Melissa reduced due to fear of a recurrence? What about those who haven’t suffered a serious disease, but are genetically predisposed to them — would they be eliminated from the pool of prospective parents?
I know some see Sheryl as guilty by association due to her friendship with ___, but judging her solely on that small aspect of her life is unfair. I hope that she will be a good mother to Wyatt and that people will allow her to be a good mother. Meaning that if she happens to have a girls night out within months of getting Wyatt, if she decides to tour in the fall, or if a new man comes into her life, she won’t be subjected to a barrage of ignorant and idiotic criticisms about how she should raise her child, like another person we know…
She’s 45 and a breast cancer patient in remission. she should pray that her cancer won’t relapse. pray that at least she live to see her son went to college.

Yes,Yes, Yes. Well Said, No. Rock On.
Congrats to Sheryl and her new baby boy. I know she’s wanted a baby for a long time and finally she has one. A woman who doesn’t just do the talk but also makes it happen for her, as it should be.
As for her getting special treatment. Please! Can we all agree that ALL celebrities get special treatement and call it a day? Yes, I’m sure ultra private Ewan Mcgregor didn’t wait for all the regular time others do to adopt his baby girl from Mongolia and neither did Meg Ryan. But because the media doesn’t care about either, they are not subject to criticism. Same with Sheryl Crow. Like someone said before, there are many ways to adopt and people are free to choose the best way that works for them. The important thing is that one more baby in this world, be it in America, Africa or Asia has found a lovely home.
Happy Mother’s Day.
I find it absolutely astonishing that Sheryl, a 45 year old single woman with a history of breast cancer, can adopt a 2 week old baby. Adoption agencies highly scrutinize prospective parents a lot and in the real world, its highly unlikely she would have been approved via an agency. This must have been a private adoption or some sort of paid surrogacy.
