There is a long list to adopt newborns, let alone newborns here in the United States. Let’s not even talk about the wait list for white newborn babies. How was she able to do this? HOW? HOW? HOW? Who did she pay off and how much?

Something is fishy about this adoption. She adopted her baby in the US. Check out People.com.

She can’t adopt a baby in the US since she’s old like 45 and not marry and was diagnosed with cancer.

WHAT? Aren’t any of you educated? The information is out there, don’t make stupid accusations based on your own ignorance.

Domestic Adoptions
In the past, the upper age limits for adopting parents followed by domestic private agencies was set by a 40-year “rule of thumb”: adopting parents shouldn’t be more than 40 years older than the child they wanted to adopt. Today, that age limit is creeping up as the Baby Boomer generation changes definitions and perceptions about age, health, physical limitations, and life span. More and more agencies are encouraging older persons to consider infant adoption.

Advantages of Being Older
Emotional maturity
Financial stability
Stable values
Stable marriages/partnerships (for couples)
Time and patience
Extended life expectancy allows longer active parenting years
It isn’t important to look like a young parent. More and more people are putting off starting a family until their 40s and what you look like isn’t important. The love and commitment you give to a child are what’s important.

The number one reason single parents want to adopt is the fact that their own childhood was fulfilling and happy and they are ready to share that experience. Single parents approach adoption with the same commitment and devotion as a married couple. With the high divorce rate in this country, single parent adoption provides a much more solid environment: a home free from the issues of an unstable, broken home and its effects on the child. Single parents are usually of higher education and have higher incomes in comparison to the country’s average. They have concentrated on their careers and have established a stable home that would benefit a child. Divorced parents are dealing with emotional and financial stress, which can negatively affect a child. A New York Times article reports that out of one-fifth of the nation’s 51.1 million Caucasian children, over half of the 9.8 million African-American children, and almost one-third of the 7 million Hispanic children live with one parent due to divorce and unwed mothers (17). With these types of statistics, there is no reason to discriminate against a single person for adopting a child when she/he is quite capable of providing a stable and nurturing environment.

I hope she is doing it from her heart. Recently she has been to Washington to lobby this and that and now she has adopted a baby. She must be trying to follow Angelina’s footsteps. I always thought Cheryl seem fake.

How cool that she made an announcement to all her fans. That is impressive with something so personal.

I love the name Wyatt. Congrats to Sheryl! I think she is a strong successful women with all she has endured in life. I hope all her dreams come true with this special blessing from God. She deserves all the happiness she can find.

No one will question. Watch. We will now see AGAIN how phony these “concern” people are. When there are so articles about this adoption

This is how I picture CLINIQUA - spell me if I’m wrong. CLINIQUA is 35 to 40 years old, 5′4″ tall, 287 pounds, hook nose, shoulder length, smelly, brownish no-style hair, a mole on her chin the size of a grapefruit, single, barren and bitter, and without a shadow of a doubt, the nastiest sub-human on the planet. Did I forget - not easily employed. Congratulations Sheryl. You go, girl.

womens talk is the #1 killer of men. did y’all know that? find something meaningful to do with your lives. jeeeez.

jeeeez women. can’t live w/them, can’t livew/them. i hope the little feller gets to breast feed. i know i would!

She’s ugly. People say she’s gorgeous, but she’s nasty looking. She’s had a nose job and has big fake teeth. Plus her ego and and superiority complex are unbearable. She needs to get out of the limelight, but she’s hooked on publicity. What a fake, phony, fraud.

Why is it that women criticize other women in their 40’s for wanting to be a Mom? Sounds like jealousy and envy to me.

I am a woman in my 40’s and the way some of you would have it once you reach the age of 35 women 36 and over are not qualified to be mothers because we are ready for social security. S.S. doesn’t start until one reaches 67, thats a 31 year age span. At that age, your child could have completed a doctorate, married, and started a family of their own.

The women in my family live well into their 90’s, my grandmother is 96.

SO THERE, THINK ABOUT THAT.

Yo, negative typo lady. How is healing from cancer “bad health” and how is 45 “going on 50 years old?” Good luck to her, and all mothers at any stage of the game who are 40, 50, 60, or whatever!!?? Recovering from cancer = STRENGTH, honey.
