Brad & Angelina Pick Up Maddox
Proud parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pick up their superstar son Maddox, 5, from the Lycée Français de Prague School on Monday in the Czech Republic. Video here with dozen of photographers and onlookers.
Angelina’s most loyal bodyguard Mickey Brett watched over the family while sporting a cut-off tee, showing off some of his killer tattoos.
Just last Friday, Angelina and big bro James Haven had school pick-up duties. A solo Brad dropped Maddox off at school this morning.
For a little after-school treat, Brad and Angelina took the little tyke for some afternoon fun — go-Kart racing!
Maddox and his parents drove laps around together at the “Kart Centrum” Racing Track.

Angie looks great in white. Love to see them together. Looks like the caught on to the whole paparazzi craze and parked closer! lol I would too. It’s getting a little out of hand there it seems.

Stop calling Jennifer Aniston as a rebound in Brad’s life. Why do you degrade Brad so much? You are worse than the haters if you consider Jen as a rebound in Brad’s life.
But she was, REBOUND that is.
Brad was in love with Gwyneth who cheated on Brad. They broke up in June of 1997.
Exactly. Brad grew very cynical, and was very VERY bitter, even AFTER his marriage. Interviewers described him as disillusioned and angry - what’s more he went into therapy AFTER his marriage. Hence Maniston being was most DEFINITELY, a REBOUND.
Brad and Jen started dating in the spring of 1998 and after dating for more than 2 years, it’s Brad who proposed Jen to spend the rest of his life with her.
This is key. When Brad FALLS IN LOVE, he FALLS FAST. He is a passionate guy. HOWEVER, THIS is what he said in the 1998 Vanity Fair issue, when after speaking at length about the Paltrow sitch without ever mentioning her name, he gets asked about Maniston….I have NO idea. I don’t know what to tell you. He then TOOK 2 and a HALF years to embark on a life with her. That’s a long time, ESPECIALLY when you consider they were BOTH in their thirties then, so there was really no reason to wait — I could half see, if they were young twenty somethings. But waiting 2 1/2 years? Come on. Do you think it was Maniston that was holding off?! Bahahaha! NOT likely. So again, I repeat — Brad historically, through his words, but mostly his ACTIONS when he’s in love, IMMEDIATELY starts planning a life with someone. For instance, he will get engaged lickety split re Paltrow, or move in lickety split re Juliette Lewis, or move in AND start a family lickety split re ANGELINA JOLIE. He did NONE OF THAT, with Maniston. REBOUND. CONSOLATION PRIZE..and what a POOR consolation it was.
It’s Brad who wanted to have kids and create a family with Jen.
PUH. LEEZE. Everyone KNOWS Brad wanted to have kids “since he could talk” as Melissa Etheridge said. He bought Paltrow a stroller! LOL If anything, Brad’s GENERIC idea of family that he had always had with most of his serious girlfriends, was actually turned on it’s head with Angelina. I truly believe Brad has had an awakening with Angelina, and realizes it’s not just about the 2.5 kids and the white picket fence that he always thought he’d have (when he was 27, he was saying he wanted to be a Dad by 30….) - but its about WHO you have that family with. I think Maniston was a HUGE lesson for Brad, in that he woke up (as if out of a nightmare) and said what have I done. No seriously, I think he did.
I think because Brad is from a traditional midwestern background, he just saw himself marrying to begat kids, or begat a family — and had grown disllusioned with being in love at some point — maybe thought it was overrated after the Paltrow debacle, and so he forged ahead in his nice buddy union with Maniston — hoping to get at LEAST a family out of it at some point. I think Brad was so cynical when he married her - he looked at family much like pulling up to the drive thru window at Mickey Dee’s and putting in an order, LOL. But at some point, THANK GOD - the sacredness of love, and passion and children with someone you’re hoplessly in love with, all came back to him…and he snapped out of it, and realized all that he was missing, and how unfair it was to maniston as well. again….say it with me…REBOUND.
If Jen was a rebound as you claimed, is Brad a kind of person without personality? Is Brad a kind of person who wants to waste his life with a woman whom he never loved and considered her as a rebound?
I think like what happens to a LOT of people, Brad got his heart broken, and was hurt and betrayed. It’s no big mystery. He simply gave up on the idea of falling in love. I don’t think he consciously made a decision to find a ‘REBOUND’ I think he adapted a very pedestrian workmanlike philosophy about it. He’d make it what he wanted to be. He wouldn’t WAIT to fall helpless and out of control and be overwhelmed. Which is fine, if that is your personality — the point is, this man is a sensitive soul, a romantic — a lot of artists are poets, they’d have a hard time being an accountant. That’s why the man left Springfield to begin with he didn’t want to do that. Brad probably thought, he could build the things he wanted, like he’s said. That’s a great philosophy to have - very empowering however, when overwhelming love and passion don’t exist within that, the relationship itself becomes a very workmanlike proposition and very pedestrian. Hence we have the Pitt-Aniston union, and why it went bust. REBOUND.
BRAD IS NOT COARSE! Brad is kind, gentle, giving, sharing person. Otherwise Angelina would not want to be with him. Othewise Angelina would not give him what he has always wanted: the children. Otherwise Angelina would not want to share and spend her life with him. Otherwise Angelina would not believe his love for her.
Very true. But Brad makes mistakes, as he will tell you. Maniston was one of them. REBOUND
Brad loved Gwyneth and Jennifer, Gwyneth cheated on him, Jennifer didn’t want to share his dream and almost surely lied to him about that for a long time. But Jennifer was not a rebound of Gwyneth in Brad’s life!!!!!! Brad is not this kind of person.
REBOUNDING isn’t usually a conscious decision. Therefore the people that do it, aren’t necessarily ‘evil’ - please grow up. Brad was disillusioned and quite fed up, and figured THAT kind of love wasn’t necessary. But with Angelina, he has found that he needs it to live, I’m sure. :-)
If you like, love, admire, respect Brad, do NOT BELITTLE him like this. He is a good person.
What is belittling to Brad, is not recognizing that he is a human being with flaws, he makes mistakes, but the inspiring and wonderful thing about him is that he is honest and that he will always try to make it right. Brad feels for Maniston, at least he did initially (after she smeared him, he’s probably done with her) - he told Innaritu his true feelings, his director in Babel, and Innaritu remarked of Brad that he “was sorry to hurt Jennifer, and that he had great affection for her, but that he fell instantly and passionately in love with Angelina - she makes it crazy.” THAT is who Brad is, that’s how it happens for him — this did not happen with maniston in any way, shape, or form. You belittle Brad by not being honest and recognizing his relationships for what they are. Maniston - REBOUND Angelina= LOVE of HIS LIFE

What’s the world coming to when legitimate financial magazines like Forbes willingly interview tabloid editors…and then publish the resulting conversation? Brad and Angie aren’t out “kissing a guy at 4am” or going to places that they know will result in their pictures being taken, yet they’re on the cover of the damned tabs every week. So Forbes might want to re-think parts of this article.

Mediterranean, I think you’re forgetting that it was also BRAD who referred to his marriage to X as a “merger” and “grand experiment”. Those aren’t exactly the words of undying love that make a girl’s heart go pitter-patter, ya know. He walked into that marriage with X like it was an experiment BECAUSE he was disillusioned with his relationship with Putrid. So yeah…I’d call that a “rebound”.
