Brad & Angelina Pick Up Maddox

Proud parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pick up their superstar son Maddox, 5, from the Lycée Français de Prague School on Monday in the Czech Republic. Video here with dozen of photographers and onlookers.

Angelina’s most loyal bodyguard Mickey Brett watched over the family while sporting a cut-off tee, showing off some of his killer tattoos.

Just last Friday, Angelina and big bro James Haven had school pick-up duties. A solo Brad dropped Maddox off at school this morning.

For a little after-school treat, Brad and Angelina took the little tyke for some afternoon fun — go-Kart racing!

Maddox and his parents drove laps around together at the “Kart Centrum” Racing Track.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I must admit, the message boards on IMDB had me freaked out. I thought I could expect to see Angelina in some scary blackface and I was gonna have to call on Al Sharpton, but no - she is nothing short of phenomenal.

I haven’t seen acting like this from Angelina since Gia or Girl Interrupted.

Having a documentary pro like Winterbottom be the visionary on this project was a brilliant choice and/or stroke of luck for vantage. It is shot with a doc feel so you actually feel like you are a fly on the wall during Mariane Pearls most difficult time.

This was an emotionally difficult film to watch and I think Ms. Jolie has secured her Golden Globe AND AMPAS nominations!

great review by token girl-with the limited great roles written for women in hollywood,hell even limited roles for women period,angelina is lucky that at the age of 32, her b-day is in a few weeks,she has 3 signature roles she can be proud of gia,girl interupted and a mighty heart,which will surely get her nominated and possibly bring an award.sally field,jane fonda,jodie foster, all had signature roles in leading categories and obviously gia and a mighty heart are leading catorgies but it will be nice that a nomination for a mighty heart would be as lead actress.

Why do people keep on saying that when people have been nominated during awards season when their movies have come out during the summer. Why don’t we do the wait and see approach instead of just saying, no it won’t happen. Either way though, I will be pleased with positive reviews and hopefully there are many many more positive ones coming.

angie will get nominated for this role, the movie is opening in limited release which i think is nyc and la, just like babel did, and paramount release babel-there aren’t that many good performances by women in movies period and trust me they will not overllok this performance, right before oscar nominations are due paramount will launch an ad campaign for this movie .oh by the way CRASH was released early in the year and won for best picture.

If the film is as good as A Token Black Girl believes it to be then it won’t be overlooked come nomination time. Why? Because it stars Angelina Jolie and is produced by Brad Pitt. This is one of the few times their over the top celebrity status will help them through awards season. A Mighty Heart won’t be forgotten because Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt won’t be forgotten.

Totally agree with Cliniqua and PT’s take on this subject, so wasn’t going to answer… but then I noticed your full moniker for the post. Medi, there is no Angelina Jolie Voight since July 2002, when Angie legally changed her name. You surely do not want to belittle her actions by calling Angie by a surname she so significantly dropped?
