Brad Pitt: More Daddy Duties!
Brad Pitt picks up his kids — 3-year-old Pax and 2-year-old Zahara — from the American Embassy compound on Tuesday in Prague, Czech Republic.
Most definitely the cutest picture of Zahara to date! Watch video of the Jolie-Pitts leaving the embassy here.
Mr. Pitt also dropped off and picked up a super smiley Maddox, 5, at his French school in Prague on Tuesday. Video here.
Partner Angelina Jolie has been busy filming her latest action thriller Wanted.

Hey everyone, I was just watching the View and Rosie quickly mentioned a documentary that PBS will be airing this week called “Sentenced Home”. Here’s the description. Also, there’s a link to the schedule on there so you can find out when it airs in your area.
Putting a human face on controversial immigration policy, SENTENCED HOME follows three young Cambodian Americans through the deportation process. Raised in inner city Seattle, they pay an unbearable price for mistakes they made as teenagers. Caught between their tragic pasts and an uncertain future, each young man confronts a legal system that offers no second chances.
As part of a large group of Cambodian refugees admitted to the U.S. in the early 1980s, the deportees and their families found asylum in Seattle’s grim public housing projects and hoped for a piece of the American dream. But, as “permanent residents,” the refugees were not afforded the same protections as American citizens. Under strict anti-terrorism legislation enacted in 1996, even minor convictions can result in automatic deportation. For some, this means being permanently separated from families and homes because of a minor offense—such as the case of Loeun Lun, who fired a gun in the air as a teenager to protect himself from a gang attack.
Told through interweaving stories, in the voices of the deportees, their families and friends, SENTENCED HOME explores what it’s like to be deported along with the social, historical and political reasons behind the deportees’ fate. Along with family man Loeun Lun, who fights to stay together with his wife and children from behind bars and across oceans, audiences will meet former gang member Kim Ho Ma, who struggles to come to terms with his identity in a country he doesn’t understand. Also introduced is an introspective Many Uch, who looks to redeem himself by taking advantage of what time he has left in the U.S. to give today’s Cambodian American youth something he never had—the ability to play little-league baseball.
SENTENCED HOME follows Lun and Kim Ho Ma all the way to Cambodia. There Lun begins building a tiny shack for himself amidst rice paddies, while Kim Ho tries to contain his anger and frustration at U.S. immigration law, and the lack of opportunity in the city of Phnom Penh.
Meanwhile, as Many Uch leads his baseball team, inspiring members of the Seattle community to re-think their negative opinions of the deportees, his own deportation status hangs in the balance of an unblinking legal system increasingly deemed unfair.

Could it just be that this is one of the few times where Princess Z is in front of the camera BEFORE she became aware of the paps, and thus was happy because she wasn’t being hounded?

#15: Amaya, I don’t know how to tell you this but deportation is nothing new. Many Filipinos have been deported and are being deported yet you never hear anything about it because they accept that they broke the law and must be sent home. The Philippines have been the processing center for the boat people of Vietnam. The Americans gave them all the best chances possible to have a good life, ask some of them who are here. I’ve met quite a few here and they were very grateful for the help and support they got from the government. I am sure the Cambodians were given the same kind of opportunity as these people. Do you ever hear of any Vietnamese refugees that are being treated differently?
This is the only country that have lax immigration policies, believe me. Even in Mexico, you will hear of horror stories about immigrant laborers not being accorded the basic rights such as education and health care. Only in the US can you get education, welfare benefits and the opportunity to own property even if you are here illegally. What more if you were a poor refugee or an asylum seeker? The only thing that could jeopardize your stay here is if you break or flaunt the law.
If those Cambodians are being deported, then they have done something wrong. If their community thinks they have been treated unfairly, they would have been given an immigration lawyer to fight for their case. That is how Asian communities protect its members as far as I know. Don’t be too quick to judge your own country. There are not many who gives the same chances as this one. Why else would people kill themselves to try to get here? Think about it.
Established communities are usually biased. Get used to it.

Please. Z’s legs have almost straightened out witness pic 1 and the 3rd pic last row. A lot of baby’s legs are bowed, let alone w/ the rickers she had, but usually whatever has caused it — by the age of 3-4 they are totally straight. Either through braces or just naturally maturing.
Zee tried everything to try and get loose from daddy but it was a no go. Brad held on tight and she was laughing the whole time.
I bet she was probably trying to catch up with Pax.

I think the difference is that the photogs are not in the children’s faces in these pics. They are a decent enough distance away that the children are not upset by them. This has not usually been the case. Angie has complained about this before. With all the long lense cameras these days, there is no reason to be in their faces like they are. But everyone wants that money shot.

She of all the children had the rockest start. She was so ill, and now she is such a little fire cracker. Stop with the legs, already. That little girl is a testament to what can happen when those poor children in Africa and Asia receive love, nutritious food, and loveing care. You can stalk GC at the O13 premiere at AMC River 21 on evening of June 7. In fact, Missouri Fan was supposed to fly in from Missouri so she and I can see Brad, but too bad BP isn’t going, neither is Al P. But everyone else seems to be, your GC, Matt D, Don C, Andy G, Bernie Mac (of course), and Oprah and the head guy from Vanity Fair (can’t remember his name). It’s gonna cost about $500 per plate for the dinner after the O13 premiere. If BP was coming, believe me, I would have coughed up that $500 from somewhere in my piggy bank just to see and have dinner in the same room with him!
Now, according to what I read earlier, Angie will be here sometime in July to shoot for Wanted; in fact last week they closed parts of Wacker Drive to shoot some outside scenes for Wanted.
So glad you seem to be better. Me? Can’t wait to go on real vacation, just dragging my feet until July when I am going to NYC with my 18 year old, that’s my graduation gift to him.

1. Brad could have taken a little more care in exiting that building. Didn’t it seem a little rough to anyone else? Rough in that he could have been a tad more patient and gentle.

Thanks for the video. Z’s little feet turn inward, pigeon toed. There is nothing radically wrong with her, except that she seems to want to run and Mack Daddy Brad is moving too slow. She looks really happy and full of spunk. I can see that she could get her daddy to do anything she wanted. That is a sweetly sexy picture. The bodyguard looked as if he wanted to give dad a hand with that little girl. The boys seem so reserve. I bet those girls are going to run him wild, especially that Z. Gee, who says Janice Min is an idiot? It only took her 18 MONTHS to figure out Angie MAY have gotten preggers before Brad’s divorce PAPERWORK was through the court system? Let’s just head Janice and US off right now - Brad’s divorce was signed on August 19, 2005. The paperwork was finalized by the court system on October 2, 2005. Officially Brad was DIVORCE on August 19. It’s not his fault the state of California demands an extra 6 weeks to file the paperwork.

The running time on the film was 1 hour 38 min.
Angelina’s accent was subtle and consistant. Of course there is that moment where you are drawn out of movieland because Angelina Jolie delivers a consistant soft spoken-husky-sexy version of Juliette Binoche, but the moment fades quickly and being cognizant of it isn’t ever present like it was with Leo in Blood Diamond/The Departed.
Futterman is a wonderful accompaniment to the ensemble. While the trailer eludes to him being all over the film he’s in it about 1/3 of the time. Angelina is very good, in my opinion, of creating great on screen chemistry with her co-stars such as Brad Pitt in Mr. and Mrs Smith and Matt Damon in The Good Shepard and Dan Futterman is no exception. Winterbottom had a limited amount of time to establish a GREAT love and strong bond between the two of them and it is done immediately.
I do think that Ifran Khan of The Namesake also delivers a memorable performance. Whenever he was on screen it was difficult for you not to be drawn to him. Archie Panjabi is wonderful as well.
As I said in the previous post, Winterbottom’s docu style lends to making this film very difficult to watch. Even knowing the outcome going into the movie I found myself swept up and stressed with each minute and hour that they were awaiting a call, a ransom note…anything. It is extremely suspenseful. I will note that there was a male member of the press in the screening and everyone one of us sat for a moment wiping tears from our eyes at the end of the screening.

I have seen where little kids wear braces on their feet at night to straighten their legs. They are special shoes that have some sort of a metal extension between them. It helps the legs/bones to straighten. I have heard of kids who would put them in the garbage because they hated wearing them. But, they do help. Sort of like wearing braces on your teeth. It’s possible they are doing something like that for Z. I wouldn’t be surprised because you know they are extremely focused on the care and well being of their little tribe of babies. Love ‘em!

I thought Angelina said in that interview she did with Marianne Pearl that she was six months pregnant during filming and it was hard on her because she had to try and emotionally go through what Marianne did while she was pregnant and dealing with Daniel’s disappearance and death? She said it was hard and she had to have her family with her….meaning Brad, Mad, and Zee.

I was so grateful to get three months paid off of work when I brought my Ethiopian son home in 2003. He was already 12 or 14 months (we don’t know his real birthday) so too big for a snuggly. But a friend lent me a hip hammock..a kind of thing where the kid sits upright on your hip and you’re still “hands free,” and my boy was glued to me for three solid months. We went everywhere together. His transformation in just that short time was miraculous. There is so much life in these children just aching to come out. It’s there, but you have to help it. Love love love is the answer.

First of all, this is a non story. But then again all their covers are nonstories. They are not about breaking or exclusive news. Second, this tidbit from Angelina came from Reader’s Digest interview. The tabs should not try to steal the gravy from an authentic publication who got an exclusive. He emailed Jerry Weintraub, “Ocean’s Thirteen” producer and a co-founder of Not On Our Watch, for tickets to the fledgling humanitarian organization’s fundraiser for Darfur.
“Harvey sent me an email this morning saying he’d just arrived in Cannes and he forgot to get his Darfur tickets,” said Weintraub. “I said, “Don’t worry about it, Harvey. How many do you need?”
Tickets to the Darfur fundraiser on May 22 featuring “Ocean’s” stars and NOOW founders George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle - arguably the hottest ticket in Cannes - are a mere $25,000. Each. Gulp. No word on how many Harvey snagged.
Early on, Weintraub contacted amFAR – including Weinstein – to let them know that he was not trying to steal their charitable thunder. amFAR’s Cinema Against Aids even has raised an estimated $22 million since the annual star-studded Cannes event began in 1993.
Other amFAR invitees (like Sharon Stone and MAC AIDS Fund and Viva Glam spokes-pinup Dita Von Teese) will probably attend the Darfur fete, upping the already sky-high celebrity quotient of “Ocean’s” stars. And I wouldn’t be surprised if maybe, just maybe, the “Ocean” gang returns the favor and slides into amFAR’s legendary annual cocktails/auction/dinner at Moulin de Mougins the next night. Just a hunch.
“We have gotten money beyond our wildest expectations in just 5 ½ weeks,” says Weintraub. “The support has been terrific. It’s become the hottest ticket in Cannes.”
But only 150-200 people will be lucky enough to get inside the closed-to-press Darfur fundraiser. There may be a small press line, according to the studio PR department. And Weintraub has already sold the inside-event photo rights to a big glossy magazine.

Weintraub will also be the first producer to have his hand and footprints cemented for posterity in the famed forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, along with his “Ocean’s” stars Clooney, Pitt, and Damon, on June 5th in Hollywood. That night the film screens at Grauman’s with an afterparty at a nearby but undisclosed location.
Weintraub talked from his WB offices today about the group decision to form NOOW. “We knew we had a movie that will do well. We wanted to do something that will make a difference. I get so many requests to do premieres for various causes, there are so many that it’s hard to pick one. But we all have an interest in the Sudan. What’s going on there is like Nazi Germany.”
“Over the past year, George, Brad, Matt, Don have all been to Darfur individually. George brought a lot of attention to the crisis when he went there with his father and when he addressed the UN. Brad and Angie do so much for Africa. Don has a best-selling book out about Darfur. (the organization’s name is derived from the title of his book) and Matt has gotten very involved. So we put together a project that all of us can participate in.”
Weintraub enlisted experts on Darfur, from the private sector, academia, the political arena. “What I found out was the most important - other than money - is to focus people’s attention on what’s happening there.” To that end, click here to visit the organization’s website
This is not a one-time benefit for Darfur. NOOW will not dissolve once the conflict, death and starvation in that region does. “We want to put a spotlight on Sudan, says Weintraub. “But we want this organization to live on and fight genocide around the world. Is anybody else tickled pink that The Insider was talking to Janice Min yesterday about the next celebrity couple to split and of course alot of tabloids/haters/nonfans are so busy thinking/wishing it’s Brad and Angie on the next splitsville list while others keep on passing them by unnoticed (I am not happy they broke up, I’m just tickled at the irony of the situation). Well, apparently they split two months ago and just got word out now. Where were all those inside sources for this split? I mean, aren’t the tabs/gossipmongers supposed to know who’s happy and staying together and who’s unhappy and splitting up/divorcing among celebrity couples? Wasn’t this couple all googly eyed and having LOTS and LOTS of PDA, and smiling alot when together? i’m not promoting promiscuity or immorality but imo it’s really not a big deal if brad & angie we’re already doing it during the time that brad was still married to the x. that’s celebrity life - sex is a given. if brad was really happy w/ the x, he could just have sex w/ angie and finish the affair when the filming for mr & mrs smith ended and continued leading a boring life w/ the x. The actor is very excited about walking the red carpet with Angelina Jolie for their film, A Mighty Heart, at the Cannes Film Festival this year. “A Mighty Heart has been selected in the official section, not the marketing section where most of our films go. I play a significant role in the film. I’m dying to see how the film finally looks. They’ve chalked out a crammed schedule for me at the festival. Though I’ve been there several times I’ve never walked the red carpet,” says Irrfan.
Irrfan’s clothes will be done by either DKNY or Gucci. “We’re yet to decide on who will design my clothes. But I’m looking forward to being in Cannes on May 19. Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan will walk the red carpet with Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
The 60th Cannes Fest begins on May 16. And Irrfan Khan is headed to the mega event for the premiere of Michael Winterbottom’s movie A Mighty Heart , starring Angelina Jolie, Dan Futterman and Irrfan.
The three stars will walk the red carpet together at Cannes on May 19, the day of the movie’s premiere.
Reports have it that Irrfan will be wearing an outfit by DKNY or Gucci for the big event.
‘A Mighty Heart’ will be screened in the official section of the festival. While Irrfan’s other movie Metro will be showcased in marketing section.
A month after the Cannes Fest, Irrfan will be flying to the US for the American premiere of the movie in Los Angeles and New York in June.
‘A Mighty Heart’ is based on a book by Marianne Pearl about her search for her husband Daniel Pearl, a Wall Street reporter who was abducted and slain by terrorists in Pakistan. Irrfan Khan plays a Pakistani agent in the film.
Major portions of the film were shot in Pune (India) last year.

Pax is a beautiful looking little boy — as all these children age they will take on facial expressions of their parents and each other and will start to resemble each other. I’ve seen it before with with adopted children - they come to look like their siblings and parents. What a handsome group.

Not worth my time. After all, it’s E and we all know how much E just LOOOOOOOOVES to be negative about Angie. I’m sure there are negative comments in there, so I’ll pass.
I’m more interested in the opinion of people who have actually SEEN the movie. If after watching it, they think she did a bad job with the role then I can accept that point of view (what works for some doesn’t work for others). It doesn’t matter as much to me what a person thinks who appears to be critiquing a project based on their personal feelings for the person versus the the actress, in this case. From what I’ve read thus far critical acclaim is Angelina did a good job. Can’t wait to judge for myself!

I’m more interested in the opinion of people who have actually SEEN the movie. If after watching it, they think she did a bad job with the role then I can accept that point of view (what works for some doesn’t work for others). It doesn’t matter as much to me what a person thinks who appears to be critiquing a project based on their personal feelings for the person versus the the actress, in this case. From what I’ve read thus far critical acclaim is Angelina did a good job. Can’t wait to judge for myself!

Why not wait until Cannes and see who walks the red carpet and who does not walk the red carpet and then discuss it? The quoted article merely says that the costars of AMH will walk the red carpet together. Isn’t that what usually happens? This “Cannes red carpet discussion” seems to be much ado about nothing as the events have not even occurred, so this subject is premature. Let’s wait and see. If you all will remember Brad was not going to be with Angelina in NYC at TGS premiere according to those who supposely know all, and yet he was there with her on the red carpet no less. No one other than Brad and Angelina and trusted people around them know what they will or won’t do in Cannes, and they are not talking. Take a deep breath, and practice a little patience. I do hope MPearl will attend but she may not do so until the US premieres.
As to any story on E! concerning Angelina and Cannes, it is almost 100% certain that it will be slanted in a negative manner, that you can count on, as they have most likely sent one of their snarky anti-Angelina whiny she who will not be named in this positive thread about the Jolie-Pitt family loving clone correspondents to Cannes. Now if one of the Daily 10 group was reporting it would be positive about Angelina as they all are most of the time. But I doubt that they would send them.

Please she is leaning sidesways bc she wants to lead Brad. If you look at some of the photos it looks as if she is pulling him. She probably wants to pick up something from the ground. So cute! Finally she has a smile!

She is obviously a fan of the x but what she fails to mention is the x at some point in her pretty little head thought she could play the role of Mariane Pearl. And just because Halle looks the part it doesn’t mean she can act the part. Mariane doesn’t have a problem with Angie portraying her (infact they are friends), so why does the whiny b!tch x fan think she can. Atleast wait to see the movie before you pass judgment.

Insomnia! Well, I love the pics, Z certainly has a huge personality-I think it is sad for MIN that the only thing she can report to sell her trash is that Shiloh was planned and was not an accident-Maybe Janice Min and her staff should go to Dafur for a few days and see if she can come up with something a little more interesting. Of course we understand that she needs to sell her mags, but it would have been a better slant to say how organized Angelina is and how well she carried out that pregnancy while working-which hopefully would lend some inspiratin to other pregnant moms or those who are comtemplating pregnancy-You see Janice Min hasn’t accurately figured out how to mainipulate her market-It’s best if she gets the best of both worlds-but she leans too much on the negative-It’s possible to make the positive sell too-She should have profiled BRAD and the true meaning of fatherhood to a man who had a deep desire to be one-After all mother’s day has passed and Father’s day is just around the corner- For EX
