OMG I am so happy . I have always expressed how I wanted a Jordin/Blake finale and thats what its going to be. I like Jordin just a tad bit more than Blake but I dont care who wins I will be buying both their records. Now if only Dancing with the Stars will have Apolo win I will be in reality show heaven.

Well, I’m not even going to watch the result show tonight (I’m on the west coast) — and I have officially stopped watching AI tonight. This pisses me off, I actually had stopped watching AI since season 3, and started watching this season when I saw Melinda sang “I’m a Woman” a few months ago (before the Top 12). I’m disappointed.

I HATE people who make comment about other people’s “physical limitation” — like the “no neck” — or I also heard and read people write about Hllary Swank having a “horse face” — I mean, EVEN IF it’s true — it’s not like there’s anything they could do about it. Why go there? Are you that miserable in life that the only thing you could feel good about yourself is to attack the aspect they don’t really have any control over?

If this Jordin girl wins, there is something she can do about it: GO ON A DIET! She should take better care of herself and look like a star. Jordin isn’t as heavy as some, but with her pretty face, she needs to run or something to be more marketable. THESE BIG GIRLS WITH GREAT VOICES ARE GETTING ON MY NERVES!

Yay, I’m so happy that Blake is still in. I was shocked to see Melinda go, though. She probably had one of the best voices on American Idol ever. But even if Melinda or Jordan had won, there’s really nothing about them that seperates them from all other girls who can sing. Even if they make an album, after a few years they’ll be forgotten about. They can sing, but that’s all they can do. Blake doesn’t have the best voice, but Blake is the most creative. Blake is very unique, and that’s really important if you wanna make it big. You need so much more than just a good voice.

I too am going to boycott American Idol next week and the following season. I’m just so sick and tired of this bullshit with the votes and all. Everyone knows that Melinda was the best — right from the beginning when she sang “My Funny Valentine,” which is what sold me.

So Melinda consistently does good and gets booted this close to being a finalist? !! In favor of Blake? (That beatbox **** he does has been tired for weeks now) I mean, every song? Can he really use his voice to sing or not? And Jordin? You gotta be kidding !! Can carry a tune, but she’s inconsistent and doesn’t have no way near the training that Melinda had. Both she and Blake are neophytes. And they get to be the finalists? Bullshit !! It’s such an insult to Melinda and those of us fans who can actually decipher between a real singer from a wannabe singer.

I’m so through with this show. For six seasons now it’s been the same old bullshit with the voting process. I’m so tired of investing my time and emotion into this show ending with the obviously more talented contestants out on their butts.
Anybody remember Tamyra Grey? LaTanya? Bo Bice? Hell, I’ll go out on a limb — Katherine McFee? All of those finalists or semi-finalists most certainly should have won the title besides those who did. But because of AI’s fucked up voting process they didn’t. I’ve been saying for years that this **** is rigged. I mean, why else is American Idol the only contestant talent show that doesn’t involve the judges votes? “Dancing with the Stars” has a process where they allow you to vote via phone AND by computer, with a limited number of votes each, which are combined with the judges votes. The same goes with “So You Think You Could Dance?” — at least for most of the show. But with AI they allow people to vote with abandon a thousand times over ! Is that fair? Doesn’t even sound like it’s meant to be fair?

So somebody please tell me, what the hell are the AI judges there for except to critique and make snide comments to each other? They really have no purpose except to try and influence the voters. This stinks. And it’s the last time I’m going to watch the show. I’m boycotting, for real. Like I said, it’s a total waste of my time when the producers allow the public to consistently chose the wrong finalists and winners. I’m done. AI, Simon, Randy, Paula, the show’s producers, and those dumb ass fans who voted for Blake (listen up Elisabeth Hasselback and Rosie O’Donnell — who unflinchingly and unfairly promoted and urged viewers every week to vote Blake) could go and **** themselves. I’ve had it !!

And live with ya’ll dumb ass decision. I’m signing that petition.

i actually think that melinda’s first song the other night was a mess, and that the judges were covering it up!

i think that if melinda won AI she would be just like fantasia, not that successful.

anyway, i’m rooting for jordin!
