Jude Law Kicks Off Cannes Film Festival
Jude Law opens the 60th Cannes Film Festival Wednesday with the New York-California road trip tale directed by Wong Kar Wai. This film will mark the acting debut of Norah Jones. Co-stars Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz did not make it to the kick-off.
“I remember the first take we did, my voice was really [squeaks] high,” Norah told The Associated Press. “I was just terribly nervous, and Kar-wai came over and patted me on the back and I relaxed a little.”
Kar-Wai was impressed with Norah’s acting abilities: “We rolled the camera and she cried, and after that I said, ‘well, it’s great,’ and she said, ‘do you want one more?’”

Well, maybe he’s not the happyest man in the world if you look at that pics, but I’d rather say that he’s got the kind of serenity that lead you to a good state of mind….
Clothes are too tigh and it’s true that the pointed toes are terrible, but as Dolores said, he does not have to smile all the time to see the beauty on him. I really LOVE the waistcoat, and for sure he get over being metrosexual or whatever, since his hairy chest drop round his (simple) white T–Sirt… Jared, you rock….Delicious Jude.
Jude Law a Cannes ! =) Dans mon pays . Ce soir il passe dans le grand journal sur CANAL+ a 19h10 .
I take back my previous words: shoes are lovely, I didn’t remark they were on bright patern leather, they are the perfect complement…..Poor, his eyes seems to be terribly affected by alergy….
who’s the chick on the balcony with him? they look pretty tight.
she doespublic relation for the festival and picture.
m’kay, thanks for that.
I love the way Jude layers his clothing; he mixes formal and informal in such a unique way. Most people couldn’t carry that off, in my opinion. I didn’t notice him looking tired; however the demands for this type of event must be high.
