Eva Mendes wore a black one-strap Jay Godfrey frock with strappy sandals to the Spike TV Awards in December.
Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere, donned the same $495 silk frock in eggplant for Entertainment Weekly’s UpFront Party in New York City on Tuesday.
Who wore it best — EVA MENDES or HAYDEN PANETTIERE?

Eva. Hayden’s lovely, but the look is too old, too sophisticated for a teenager to carry off.
obviously Eva Mendes is way way much better…
the color, the length, the shoes, the tan, the rouge…
but i’m not that crazy about the bag.
Eva all the way, too hot…she carries this look perfectly. Hayden is still too young for this dress.
Eva hands down. Looks totally elegant on Eva and kind of awkward and ill-fitting on Hayden. Hayden always looks great but she’s so tiny the dress swallows her up. I think the dress itself no matter who is wearing it is better in black

Eva hands down!, she has worn lots of fabulous clothes,not the best pic of Eva but Eva is a fashion diva most times.Hayden seems to be wearing clothes that are to aged for her,she’d look better in hot clothes that fit her age.Shes got a great shape.Just need to find her nix.

Uhhhh . . . EVA!!?!! Hayden’s cute as all get out (and getting prettier all the time), and unlike some, I’ve got no problem with her weight/body type. But the idea, for everybody (even Charlize!) is to wear stuff that flatters you … sadly, Hayden’s choice here makes her look like a little fireplug (why de-emphasize your cute shape?!)

i adore hayden but that eggplant dress does not suit her at all. it makes her arms look chunkier.
