Brad Pitt’s Arm Tattoo = Otzi the Iceman
Brad Pitt’s new inner left forearm tattoo has been ID’s as the outline of Ötzi the Iceman, aka Frozen Fritz and Similaun Man. Here’s some history behind Europe’s oldest natural human mummy via the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology:
Over 5000 years ago, a man climbed up to the icy heights of the Schnalstal glacier and died. He was found by accident in 1991, with his clothes and equipment, mummified and frozen: an archaeological sensation and a unique snapshot of a Copper Age man.
The mummy of Otzi and the articles found with it, found in 1991 on the border between Austria and Italy, have been on exhibit since March 1998 at the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology.

It’s Brad’s body and he has the right to put any tattoo that he wants to on HIS BODY. It is his personal decision to make.
Some of you bemoan how much you want the old Brad back, well this is the real original Brad, not the PR manufactured false golden boy. He appears to have thrown off the “golden boy” cloak, stopped playing and being controlled by the standard Hollywood game, and is just being who he really is, a good guy, a loving and supportive partner to the woman he loves, a family man, a happy daddy. He will still shine on the red carpet when he has too, but that is no longer the primary focus of his life. He appears very comfortable and satisfied with his life.

Maybe he wants to make a movie about Otzi. There must be something about the man that Brad admires or is impressed with. Could be that it isn’t even a permanent tat, just a rendering from a marker pen or a decal that stays on for a week or so.

I think maybe it symbolizes that “Nothing is impossible”!! The Otzi guy climed the mountains 5,000 years ago, without any modern equipment to protect him from the bitter cold. But, he still DARED. So it might be MOTIVATING for Brad, and he probably recites the story to his kids at nighttime Dare to the the impossible- which seems so true in Brad’s word- who woul risk America’s wrath by dumping the sweetheart and going with the Average woman’s nightmare. He risked a lot by doing that but came out ahead and above!!!
THinking of the tatoo this way, makes me like it. but to me its upside down, as when he is walking with his arm down Otiz’s head is down.
*** Good insight! If that is the case, then good for him!! If the head of the tattoo is towards his wrist , then when he raise to look at his arm, the head would be up! What better way to keep him motivated when he wants to meditate for the reasons he put this figure there!!

Also, TRUE BAMPZS fans don’t jump off the wagon if their favorite movie start change his looks. Change is good, and in Brad’s case I feel he definitely change for the better. He’s living the adventurous life of a true Sagittarean - that was chained down when he was with X. Now he’s free to do what he wants and love who he wants. And tattoos or no tattoos, I still am a BRAD fan.
tattood or not, BRAd is still Hot! it obviously means something to him to get it. people who are hating obviously don’t have any, and so quick to judge. many people in hollywood have tats, some have more than others. david beckham is covered in them and no one’s complaining! he’s a dad also. if brad or angie wants one who cares, it’s their body not yours.
