The cashmere blanket is an awsome idea for travelling. Angie is a very thoughtful mother. That would come in handy on an aeroplane with 4 kids. I would buy one but there’s not a lot of room for it in economy.

Jess, I can absolutely recommend the pashmina shawls for babies - especially the ones which have 70% pashmina and 30% silk. Just make sure the size is right. I think mine was approx. 36 inches by 72 inches, so quite big for folding. My personal favourite one is dark khaki colour - doesn’t show up dirt. When my daughter was small enough to carry in a baby bjorn, I’d put it around my shoulders and wrap me and her in it. When she fell asleep in a pram, I could fold the shawl into the desired layers. I took everytime I travelled. And when she didn’t need the shawl, at night, I’d wear it out for dinner.

Hey Lylian - my vacay is almost over, so I won’t be around much after tomorrow unless it’s in the evenings. I’ll probably be around on Tuesday - because that’s the O13 party and we’ll have photos; and probably Thursday - because that’s the 013 premiere and we’ll have photos. Other than that…it’s back to the trenches. I’ve been on vacay for a week and I’m sure I’ll have all kinds of user problems to solve when I get back on Tuesday. Sometimes I just really, really hate computers!

first and last post, I know how the police can be unapologetically brutal. In my youth, I had my runs with the police, and wore sneakers for the rest of my college life. You never know when it is imperative to run to back streets to hide. Passing Through is flaming red tonight, now and then I shamelessly lift her one-liners and shock people around me. “peppermints” is one example, heh he!

kearnie, seriously the tabs in the States are read more ridiculous from another country. besides, many people are aware of poverty, refugee problems and Darfur, and they know what and whose work are important.

lylian, I got some first hand info on the micro-credits when poor do not want any credit. as it happens, it is slowly turning to be a business by itself, with exorbitant rates, and the micro-credit firms are trying hard to collect enough funds to become a financial bank. the people I talked to emphasized the best cases are when it is supported by other collective action, such as having a child care center in the community in addition to credits. thanks for the informative post on the difference between the US and the UK laws on libel, I learn a lot here.

Cannes..flashback….the last time Brad was there…do you think it will bring back bad memories for Brad? Wasn’t Angelina there but away from the press? I wonder what kind of memories Cannes brings back to Brad & Angelina? I know all you guys out there with good memories give me the lowdown….I think cliniqua would have the backstory of Cannes…

Puh-leeze. You were voted “prettiest legs”…not best ass. And for the record, it wasn’t a vote, it was 2 people with an abacus using some arcane mathematical formula that calculated leg length and THICKNESS to height. Not exactly a ringing endorsement from the public.

Secondly, you don’t have a “great tan”. You’re ORANGE woman! That’s not “tan”…that’s ORANGE.

Last, Angelina has lost weight because she’s grieving for her mother. But, you wouldn’t know anything about mothers because you don’t speak to your own and will never be anyone else’s.

Sweetie - if you wanna sling mud, I can roll with the best of ‘em…unfortnately I can’t say the same for you. There’s nothing you can say about Angelina Jolie that hasn’t been said before, by people more intelligent that yourself. However, no one of any intelligence has had the guts to publish the REAL TRUTH about Aniston. I know all the dirty rumors and I’m not afraid to type my little fingers to nubs, so if you wanna bring it, then bring it and step back because it’s going to come back at you faster and dirtier.

Wow, the video was great. I think this is the first time the whole family was pictured together. I cant tell which child is the most beautiful. Each of them are breathtaking in their own special way. I love Maddox’s expression. Poor kid got kicked in the head when Pax was being handled by Brad. But, he is a cool kid. He will always be my Punk Rocker kid :-)

So Brad and Angie don’t know how to do z’s hair. They will work it out for themselves. They are hands on parents. If you don’t have hair like that I’m sure it would be hard to tame. Z is a really happy character and that is to her parents credit. They must be doing something right. It would be pretty hard being a parent in the spotlight. A bit of trial and error is nessasary before they get it right.

Okay, I’m gonna have to play that video all the way up…I wanna hear the ‘legs’ thing, and Zahara’s voice…I have never heard her voice - I’ve heard Mad’s but not Zee’s..they also say Pax is saying ‘What? What?’ LOL :-D

I’ve been on this board tons, I know the regulars and I’m sure some of them remember my handle. Thing is I don’t feel everyone has to agree or see eye to eye all the time ‘cuz we are ALL speculating. I gave my opinion and I don’t see anything shocking, offensive, or sexist about it. But hey, maybe I’m not a good feminist or somethin’ I don’t know . . .

The haters are obvious, and they are just trying to get a rise. I try and ignore them. There are couples I can’t take either, Jennifer Garner, I’m really not a fan of her and Affleck, but I try and avoid boards where there are tons of fans because why piss people off for no reason. It’s pointless and every celeb has their fan following so why ruin their love.

Well, hell, yeah, we’ve talked about X in the past. But WE didn’t bring her up today. The trolls did. I don’t like X. I’ll talk bad about her until she goes away. From the looks of it, the b#tch can’t take a hint and I’ll be talking bad about her tired ass forever.

The fact of the matter is - X’s name is always going to be come up on any Brad & Angie thread. The media makes sure of that and so do the haters and trolls. If I never had to discuss X again I’d be quite happy. Okay, wait a sec…I don’t actually “discuss” her so much as make fun of her…but still…if she’d just go away…I’d stop making fun of her. Out of sight really IS out of mind.
