Superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrive for the photo call Monday morning for her forthcoming Oscar-bait movie A Mighty Heart at the The Cannes Film Festival.
They had a few photo ops together right before the photo call — Brad, 42, and Angelina, 31, had their arms around one another as they arrived.
“We got here yesterday, and we had a beautiful day with our kids,” said Jolie. “We’ve been playing with them since the moment we landed, and we plan to go home to them as soon as we are done with this.”
Just last night, the couple celebrated the film together a Paramount Pictures party with A Mighty Heart director Michael Winterbottom and his special lady friend.

Thank You Jared, please do try to get some sleep…we don’t need you having a breakdown in the middle of the most important week of Cannes…lol.

Lmao…this ladies (and gentlemen?) is wishful think at it’s very best. Now, don’t jump on this person…you know seeing these pix has got to hurt like crazy and the only way to alleviate the pain is to convince herself BP and AJ are faking.
Loved the photo’s of B&A (they look a little tired). Having been to Cannes, I can tell you that the receptions/parties one is “required” to attend … make it very difficult to be bright eyed & perky the next morning. I don’t know how the french do it.

Jolie Film About Daniel Pearl Filmmaking of Highest Order
“A Mighty Heart,” Angelina Jolie’s film about the kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, had its first screening Monday morning at the Cannes Film Festival.
Simply put, the Michael Winterbottom film is an exceptional piece of work, deeply affecting and filmmaking of the highest order.
In purely Hollywood terms, the film is a certain Oscar nominee. Everyone involved in “A Mighty Heart” - from Winterbottom to Jolie as Pearl’s widow, Mariane, to Dan Futterman as Daniel Pearl - can be proud of a job very well done.
Based on the book by Mariane Pearl, the film follows the pregnant Mariane as searches for her husband following his disappearance in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2002. At the time, Daniel Pearl was writing a story about shoe bomber Richard Reid.
Winterbottom’s cinema verité-style only adds to the immediacy of the Pearl tragedy. This director has done a remarkable job.

Just looked at the latest preview of “Mighty Heart” Love you Angelina!!!!!! She is a great actress. I really love these two together!! This is going to be a great week!!
I think she has gain a couple of pounds because she’s still skinny but doesn’t look sick and fragil like she did in the Global action for children conference
I live in england and we have a lot of cannes coverage just seen brad and angie on tv those paparazzi are insane i don’t know who they think they are barking orders at them stand this way do this do that. brad and angie looked gorgeous and were holding hands and laughing until this annoying women photographer was about an inch from their face snapping away and then the press and papparazzi are like lions waiting to be fed.
am still reeling. for all we care, they’ve got shiloh! and mad and z and pax…wow!
